I was looking for a hybrid and wasnt decided, it was to be between the Camry Hybrid and the Hyundai Ionic. I decided to call both dealers starting with... Toyota. Eric Simon, Internet sales manager, top sales person of Toyota NMB took the call. He said he had one that came in the day before, and can reach my asking price (i was at low $300 and zero down) he said he can do low $300 but will have to pay $450 of tag and first month.. which i found fair and based on the reviews between the 2 cars Camry and Ionic Hybrids, Camry was top, so i decided to go ready to sign As soon as i got there Eric arrived, ready to test drive the car, which i liked, i still wanted to compare with another model so it was between the Camry Hybrid LE and DEMO model (5000 miles already) Camry SE. when we sat down the dance began, Eric was going back and forth for about 90 mn, to finally tell me that the offer he made me over the phone is not valid, showing me numbers over my credit score which makes it impossible to reach my target price, and the Demo is out of a question for a lease as it has too many miles... whatever sales speech Eric made, i ended up signing a lease on a Camry LE, which i didnt even test drive or see, it has a manual start, lower trim... but he tired me out i was ready to go. when i got in the car it was late and dark, i didnt look at the car, the options.. when i drove it this morning, I realized what happened... without even realizing because of their sales prouesse, they made me sign on a car that was not the car that i came for, lower trip more money... i am paying now for a $309 and 1000 down.. which is more expensive than what was promised, AND It is not even a hybrid.. this is a typical bait (draw you in to the dealership at all cost) and switch (make you believe that the deal spoken about is not available for whatever reason and replace it with a worst more expensive deal) i went today try resolve this, the manager was waiting for me, i felt there will be no one to talk to but i didnt expect this: he took the lease contract, went into a circle, which there was no way for him to check anything or make a call, came back and told me there was nothing he can do i mentioned bait and switch, he played offended and turned his back and joined his crew at the front desk. i followed him and tried to bring some sense, but his friend chipped in and make a long story short, called the cops on me. obviously it was a stunt, they didnt call the cops, i was waiting for the cops outside for 20 mn they didnt come. same as the stunt Eric Simon pulled when he promised me one thing over the phone and signed me on a car that i didnt want.. i am disappointed, and hurt, expected more from Toyota. I offered the manager 3 options: return the car, get the hybrid at the promised price or switch to a camry SE.. there was no resolution to talk about with those people. in other words, if you wish to experience bait an switch, disappointment, having them call the cops on you... go to #Toyotaofmiamibeach
Peter Jeannith was very professional and knowledgeable in assisting us with the paper works. Abner, the Manager is also visible to help and even offered... us an employee discount when we decided to purchase the floor mat. Everything was just fast and easy. Beware of hidden fees . However that is not the reason I am filing a poor customer service review The process of obtaining a car tag was horrible as it... took 45 days . When the tag arrived it was not the specialty plate that I paid an additional $100 for . Now we are three months post purchase and I still can’t get the tag situation straightened out from salesman Anthony D’Amato .Lots of promises to look into and call back but never a call back

I made an appointment with the assistant service manager assistant service manager not a regular service person but assistant manager spoke to him directly... said I was going to bring my car in to turn in made the appointment I showed up early and a regular sales person says we no longer take cars I said no I made an appointment directly with the assistant manager he said no we no longer take cars are call assistant manager up and he says yes or no longer take cars and I said why were you unprofessional and not contact me he said he didn't have my number how can you make an appointment with a service company or any company in fact and not ask the customer or have the customers information that is very unprofessional and they put me in a very difficult position shame on you
