I have been going to this dealership for five years and have purchased two vehicles. Service dipped for a month or two after Danny left but has been worked out. I just had oil change and tire rotation on my new car and only had time for one cup of coffee before the car was ready. Visited with my sales person Tony while I was there. He has helped me with two vehicle purchases with no pressure...okay a little. .. he made me deals I could not refuse. I have never had anything but good experiences here.
I have dealt with 2 employees over 2 days and it was horrible! The first day I went in and noone ever came out. I had to go in and look for someone and no they were not busy...at all. The sales guy didn't know much about the car I was wanting. I was expecting to hear from him today and nothing! I finally emailed and heard back from another employee and they were so rude! All this person was worried about was getting me to put down $500 deposit. I really was hoping to stay locally but after this treatment I will go somewhere else. Never expected College Station location to be so unprofessional...very disappointed
In service business
They have horrible service, are very slow, not friendly, new service people. Prices have increased, used to be reasonable. Don't think I will return and do not recommend.
I am very unhappy with sterling kia service. New people, not friendly, higher prices, try to sell unnecessary service. Not returning and will not recommend.
Doesn't Honor Their Deal
I will never do business with Sterling Kia again. Our sales representative Justin Viggers did a wonderful job keeping in contact through the week of negotiations. We received our agreed upon terms & price in writing. We set up a time to come in and finalize paper work etc. After signing multiple documents, the final papers were put in front of us to sign and the numbers had changed ($2,000 more than what we had agreed upon). They refused to honor their original deal and in doing so the deal did not close. I am sorry I wasted my time with Sterling Kia and will not ever trust them with my business again.
I went to buy my first car and because of Tony I walked away with a 2018 Kia Soul. He was awesome and I recommend him to anybody and everybody.
Arthur was so awesome! I went to get out of my big SUV, and he made the experience awesome! I could not have been happier with him. Will never buy a car from anyone else!
Great car buying experience!
I showed up with a plan to test drive a specific vehicle, 2017 Niro, and ended up buying it the next day! I worked with Tony and he helped walk me through all the features. There was no pressure to buy, and when it came to buying the entire staff was helpful and friendly. I got an excellent deal on my trade in and fantastic rate! I would definitely recommend buying from Sterling Kia!
Recent horrible experience
On March 07,2010 my husband and I purchased a new G6 for myself and a new GMC Texas Edition for him at this dealership, Sterling Auto Group in Bryan and it was a wonderful experience. So this was my reason for returning there to purchase my new KIA even though I live an hour from Bryan, I do not know the date because I have absolutely no paperwork work on my new car at this point. After receiving the paperwork in the mail to sign my husband did inform me that his monthly income is incorrect (so I wonder if we could have gotten a better interest rate???) his current employer is incorrect as well. and my monthly payment is less than I was told by my salesman and KIA also gave me more for my trade in vehicles than the amount that my salesman told me the day I purchased my new KIA. I do know who financed my new car. Only because State Farm called me the next day for my VIN and asked me who my lien holder was and I had no clue, so she called the dealership and found out that information herself. When I went in the office to sign the paperwork I must tell you that the finance guy got SO angry at me because I would not purchase an extended warranty. It was SO bad that half way through the process, I looked at him and told him that he was causing me an anxiety attack and he let me go get my purse so I could take my anxiety medication. And he still did NOT ease up on me!!!! When this process was finally done I came out expecting my salesman to get in my car that I , by the way did NOT test drive, and be caring enough to go over the car with me so I would know how to operate my new car but to my surprise he had new customers and only had time to pair my cell phone so I could drive safe, hands free. THAT WAS ALL HE DID FOR ME?. So I drove away knowing nothing about my new KIA. A day or two later my sister called the GM at Sterling Auto Group and he informed her that he would go speak to them because that was not the way customers get treated there and called her back to inform her that was not the way they said things took place and the salesman that sold me my car would not know if the building was ON FIRE!!! Then why is he representing KIA MOTORS OF AMERICA? I do not understand and I will never return there to purchase any car ever again in my life. NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I HAD SUCH A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE BUYING A NEW CAR?
Long time customer and very happy.
I have always been treated fairly during the buying process and like family by the service department. Tony was a fantastic and patient salesman who cared about what we wanted. I definitely recommend them.
