Great (and Successful) Experience

We waded through a lot of ads, websites, etc. and spent nearly a day at a bigger dealership and got just what we were looking for at American Auto. Very helpful and no pressure, probably because they know their deals are so good.

Bad Customer Service

If buying a car from out of state be very careful with this dealership. They claim to be a national dealership and sell to all states on their website but far from it. "We've sold and shipped our vehicles all over the world. We are a National Dealer with satellite delivery locations in most major markets including: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Phoenix, Salt Lake City (Corporate offices), Las Vegas, Denver and Dallas. " They claim to offer free delivery to most major markets but in fact its only with in a 300 mile radius. "We want you to know how easy it is to do business with us. We are The Home Of The 15 Minute Car Buying Experience. Our prices and vehicles sell themselves! Utilizing our streamlined buying process you can be the owner of your new vehicle in 15 minutes or less. We offer free shipping to most major markets." Wanted to buy a car, spoke with the manger Austin and salesman Brian. They want you to give $1,000 non refundable deposit to hold the car for 24 - 48 hours to give you time to get to the dealership. My question was, why would it be non refundable? What if there is something wrong with the car when I get there and test drive it? Its not a new car its a used car. He said I would lose my deposit. First off thats not even a fair business practice. Second, if Im ready to give you a deposit and buy a flight to another state you would think I have every intention to buy the car, but if I get there and find out there is something wrong with the car that would prevent me from buying it I would expect my deposit back. These guys just want to keep your money. Don't claim to be something you're not. They seem like they do great local business but fail as a national dealership. Be Careful!!!

Dwight King, we apologize that we couldn't meet YOUR terms and conditions on this particular vehicle. As we disclosed to you in our telephone conversation, this vehicle was a consigned vehicle only listed for one day. During our telephone conversation there were local customers actively looking at the vehicle. You were trying to tie the vehicle up with a conditional agreement which is not included in our terms and conditions. The vehicle did in fact sell to that party and this google review is nothing more than a RETALIATORY RESPONSE on your part. We do sell nationally and in fact globally. However, for any business to operate correctly certain conditions must be met by a qualified buyer to take the vehicle off of the market. Any rational consumer will realize that you can't dictate policies to another party without mutual agreement. These policies are set forth after decades of automotive experience as an automotive retailer for the buyer and sellers protection. A non refundable deposit is not an unreasonable request in an instance involving multiple customers competing to purchase a vehicle. Again, we apologize we couldn't meet your terms and conditions on this Range Rover.

Great service, great value!

I purchased a vehicle from American Auto in March 2018. I was very impressed with their no pressure approach and how easy the process was. I have been even more impressed that months later as I have questions or need copies of documents how great they have been to work with. I feel like I got one of the best deals out there and was taken care of.

Good quality used vehicles great friendly staff! I went in with a little bit lower end budget but they had exactly what I was looking for.

THEY MADE IT EASY AND WERE THE BEST DEAL AROUND. THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS FAR BETTER THAN THE BIG STORES. I WAS TIRED OF BEING PUSHED INTO SOMETHING I DIDN'T WANT AT LHM OR THE GARFF STORES.

Friendly, Helpful staff

These guys make purchasing a new car a joy. They were all very friendly and went out of their way to provide excellent customer service. I love my Jetta!

They beat the Ford stores price by $5,000

I shopped all over! They beat the closest competitor by $5,000 on my F150 ecoboost. I'm a customer for life!! Nice, quality people! Highly recommend!
