Worst experience.

Worst experience. Brought in a vehicle for a paint recall inspection in December. It's now May and I have a non running vehicle that they tore up and will not take care of. They said some recall repairs needed to be made now the engine is out. They started with a vehicle I would have driven anywhere. Now it's junk and they won't take responsibility for what they've done. It seems like I'm going to have to take legal action against them. Don't trust a word they say.

I asked for additional photos and details as the listing had none. I was provided 3 pictures. I asked for more and no one replied. I was asked to schedule a test drive. I said I am several hours away. Very disappointed with the presales experience.

Take your business elsewhere. Dishonest service.

This dealer will not honor the advertised price. They will surprise you with thousands of dollars worth of nonnegotiable "dealer add-ons" that you don't want, such as nitrofill tires. The sales staff were fine but the sales manager made comments that made us feel uncomfortable. I understand the dealers need to make profits, but include the profit in the advertised price. If you want honest service, take your business to Love or AutoNation in Corpus Christi.

The service department is a joke.

The service department is a joke. Getting the complimentary service is like pulling teeth and they don't even do the work (I know for a fact they never did my tire rotation). Service manager just says they have no staff, GM won't return a call and Hyundai corporate just says contact the dealer.

MY car has been in the service dept with a recall for

MY car has been in the service dept with a recall for over three months .My vehicle has yet to be diagnosed due to shortage of employees and parts being on back order .I'm still waiting on a loaner car to be provided to me! My car has been at the service center for over a month and they haven't even checked to determine the problem. The service center needs more help, it's hard to get anyone on the phone and they have never returned my calls when I've left messages.

Service department is inept at best. I scheduled an...

Service department is inept at best. I scheduled an appointment for an oil change online through their website. I received a confirmation text after I scheduled the appointment. The day before the appointment, I received another text as a reminder of the upcoming appointment the following day. I arrived at the dealership the next day to drop off my vehicle. I am told I do not have an appointment. The lady stated that online appointments don't actually schedule appointments and I need to call to schedule an appointment, I told her I received a confirmation text and two days later a reminder text of the appointment. Sorry you don't have an appointment and we are booked up today. I could get you in three days later at the earliest. Beyond frustrating and inconvenient. I purchased the vehicle from them and still get treated like crap. I asked for service manager to call. He did later that day and explained why the online scheduling doesn't work. if you use hyundai website to schedule. I told him I used the Mac Haik website and he said oh no we have a problem. Really???? Then I was told how busy they were and how behind they were. I said I would take it elsewhere to get it serviced. Customer service wasn't a 1 star rating, but I couldn't give 0 stars.

We just had a car repaired at the Maik Haik Body shop in...

We just had a car repaired at the Maik Haik Body shop in Victoria. 1st i want to say that they were great and this review does not reflect on them. My issue is with the service department. we told the body shop that we had han intermittent issues with the blinkers and headlights. sometimes when the blinker was turned on the headlights would go off. I figured it was something to do with the blinker switch and we asked if this was something they could look at while it was in there and give us a quote. They said they would send it to the service department after the body work was done and they would contact us. Well they did only to tell us it would cost over $500 to fix it. I told them not to fix it and then they told us it would be $140 for their diagnosis. Don't get me wrong, if this would have been disclosed up front i would have probably told them to proceed. My issue is that they didn't tell us that we would have to pay that kind of fee to diagnose what we told them was wrong with it in the first place. they didn't call and say it would be so much per hour or nothing. This is the second bad experience with this service department. the other time they wanted to chargeover 100 to change out the cabin filter that they said was bad. I ordered on amazon for $15 and when i went to change (Which takes about 2 minutes) the filter in it was like brand new. Bottom line, DON'T trust these people and if you have to get something done there, get all the info up front. I have bought 2 cars from mac Haik Hyundai in the last year and a half and it will be the last time due to this type of service.
