This seller has been on Cars.com since August 2017.
We are a Christian Dealership. I have served The Lord here going on 38 years. I started with 2 cars and a loan of $5000 from Grandma Ruby. I've got her paid back and now we keep between 100-200 units. We are thankful for any sale whether you need a vehicle for $2000 or $20000! We are a non pressure dealership with no dealer fees. Shady business stay away!

Shady business stay away! Overcharged for a Dodge charger they justified the higher price with the extras it was supposed to have. Most do not work. They hid a lot of problems and made sure when I did the test drive I never got the car over 45 mph. A bunch of issues came up the day I drove it off the lot. They wouldn't reply to me for 3 days. Their little coverage they offer covers nothing. I've put a few thousand into a car that was already over priced. Avoid this place!

Trustworthy?

I have purchased 3 vehicles from Jeffries. First 2 got great deals with minimal extra work that needed done after purchase, which I understand comes with purchasing used vehicles. One I actually still own after 11 years. Staff is friendly and seem pretty knowledgeable about what they sell. The 3rd I just bought tho had many underlying conditions that were not addressed and only after a month of owning am looking at an additional $1000.00 in repaires. One issue was addressed when I test drove it. Dealer has it inspected said everything was ok. 2 weeks later I'm replacing a control arm. Now I am having erratic behavior from instrument panel. Local mechanic found 12 codes related to BCM module. Now that needs replaced.This is on a 2015 Silverado with 170,000 miles that I paid $15000.00 for. Not real happy about this purchase and definitely would recommend others to make sure you know before you buy and keep your options open to other dealers.

JD and his team are amazing.

JD and his team are amazing. Went in to trade in 1 car and buy 2 and the transaction was so easy: They all went out of there way to make sure we had what we wanted and stayed in the budget we set: Extremely honest, caring and just genuinely amazing people at this place. Would highly recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to stop in. You won’t be disappointed

DO NOT TRUST THEM

BUYER BEWARE!!! DO NOT GO to Jeffrey’s Auto in Scottsburg Indiana!!! I purchased a 2014 Chevy Cruze from them and less than a week later it already had to be put in the shop due to the engine overheating. Since the first initial fix it is now having more problems and is having to be towed back to the shop. (This is not the auto shops fault). The warranty that came with the car only paid for about half of the issues and I had to pay out of pocket over $500. This place gives off the kindest vibes when purchasing the car they even send you home with a bible but do not let it fool you. I tried to call Jeffrey’s back and explain the situation only to be told it’s not their problem anymore. They were rude and hateful. I have also since then came across others who have purchased a car from them and experienced similar issues! I am young so I guess they thought they could take advantage of the situation🤷‍♀️

Make sure you buy the expensive extended warranty,

Make sure you buy the expensive extended warranty, because they don't stand behind there vehicles. Experienced a motor failure due to error by their staff mechanics. Another repair shop found and photographed the timing belt tension pin still in place, it should have been removed as a last step. Phil had the opportunity to do the right thing. All Phil could say was "you should have bought the extended warranty, even when he knows the error was on their behalf". The 3 month warranty had expired due to being 500 miles over the mileage limit, but still within the 3 month time frame of the warranty. Just FYI, the extended warranty was going to more than we paid for the vehicle. If my review just deters a few people from purchasing a vehicle there, I feel have gotten my $8000 back out of them. Avoid what happened to me, just go somewhere else.

Stay away

Stay away. Car lot mechanic’s error lead to my cars engine failure. Gave them the opportunity to do the correct thing, being so Christian and all, but they chose not to. I will be contacting an attorney.

Was a 5 star experience up until I showed them another

Was a 5 star experience up until I showed them another car that was a better price and lower mileage. They brought out the guy I has to talk to to discuss price. I showed him the listing from Tom Gray auto in Louisville. Before he even looked at the listing, he stated it wasn't as nice as there's. Well, I have visited both lots and can vouch that they were both in great condition. When I stated that he stormed off pouting and said "we're done here!" The most unprofessional business transaction I've ever been through and I'm 40 years old. I'd urge anyone reading this to look elsewhere to purchase a vechicle.
