It was a $3,000 Honda minivan.
It was a $3,000 Honda minivan. I was putting up $1,000. They wanted to charge me $249/month for 36 months. $7,000 in interest on a $2,000 loan? If I could afford a $250/month car payment, I wouldn't b looking at a $3,000 van. These people are predators.
Rude to potential customers on reviews.
The fact that you are rude to potential customers when they voice their opinion really dictates the company as a whole. I was considering buying a vehicle from this place, but I will shop somewhere else.
Because you are not a customer, since you chose not to visit our dealership and personally deal with us, your opinion is meaningless to us. On the other hand, we are not looking for a customer like you… Our interest is to work with smart, serious customers who are looking for cars, with competitive prices, rather than looking at reviews and others’ opinions. Therefore, we are glad that you choose to “shop somewhere else”.
Can I buy this car? No? Weird.
I went to purchase a car I could very easily afford. I offered 10% down. After a credit check. (My score is just over 700) I was told the bank (“no bank”) would finance this car because of its low price of 7000$. They asked if I wanted to look at and potentially purchase any other cars. I found that absurd. A bank that doesn’t want my money and a car dealer that doesn’t want to sell me a car. I’ve never heard of such a thing.
I’m just scrolling through the reviews and the responses to some of these are condescending and bordering insulting. How about some damage control. You guys should enlist someone else to type these replies to the online complaints. Plus if you have to lose money on one or two cars on occasion to build a solid reputation, seems worth it.
We don’t have you on record visiting or purchasing a vehicle from our dealership. Therefore, your opinion is invalid and worthless to us.
I called and asked sales person to look over truck and tell me all the imperfections it has before I drove down from Milwaukee. Sales person said it had minor scratches so I drove the 1 1/2 hour to Illinois. When I arrived the trucks radio screen was not working, truck was dirty, bumpers where crashes and the driver door had a rusted hole on it with a big circle scratch. Will not recommend dealer to any one out of state. All cars are dirty and dusty.
You mentioned that the salesman told you the car had scratches. So, why did you drive all this distance to our dealership if you didn’t want to see scratches? As a reminder, we are a used-car dealership; all of our cars are washed and detailed, but we have an open lot, meaning that, inevitably, our cars will be dusty. Did you expect us, prior to your visit, to wash all 150 cars and wait for you to look at them (since you mentioned that “all cars are dirty and dusty”)?! If your budget allows you to, you should hop right into a brand-new car dealership. You shouldn’t expect a brand-new car for the price of a used car.
Please check out Auto House
I enjoyed my experience purchasing my vehicle with Auto House immensely. I felt very welcome and treated very professionally by the staff. They were pleasant to negotiate with and they helped me find the right vehicle. They also went out of the way to ensure I get the title promptly. Special shout out to Martin and Swavek for their patience and dedication. I would recommend this dealership if you plan to purchase a pre-owned vehicle.
Or knowledgeable of vehicle
I called in advance to see a Chevy avalanche. I advised that I was driving from 1.5 hrs away and asked is there was any issues not lost that I should know about. I was told that none and I should come test drive. First the speakers were blown in the rear on one side and the other side did not work. A message on the dash the read “service air bag” which is clearly a safety hazard. But the worst was that the transmission was idling over 3500 rpm’s in 1st gear before it shifted! Lucky if it gets 2000k more miles out of it. When I advised the dealer of the issue all they could say was let’s shake hands and remain friends. 3 hr round trip!
We would like to let you know that the same truck that you left a review on, the 2008 Chevrolet Avalanche, was sold to New York a couple of days after your visit. It is not on our website anymore. A gentleman purchased this truck and shipped it there. We called him after that to ask him about his experience with his purchase. He told us that the truck is fine and it was as good as he expected. We wish you didn’t lose the 3 hours round trip visit to our dealership and end up complaining about nothing.
Thank you Auto House for your help. The car I purchased was a good deal with low miles, I really enjoy it. It was a smooth transaction.
Loved the service & advice on finance options
It was overall a great experience, I left there happy, great looking car & great running as well, I have 2 friends looking for cars so I will definitely be sending them out to auto house to purchase, thanks again auto house!!!
I had a pleasant experience at Auto House Motors. I was able to trade in my old car for a newer car with lower mileage. They gave me the price I was looking for in my trade. I can say I’m very happy with my purchase. Everyone was kind and welcoming.
