I took my truck to Rich Ford in Edgewood NM for substantial work regarding a cold start knock. The work included parts arrival and repair. The work was to take one week. On arrival I was met by staff with a very nice loaner vehicle. I was texted throughout the week updating my vehicle status. The problem was addressed within the stated timeframe. Service personnel were professional (kudos to John) and friendly. After many years of buying cars and trucks at multiple dealerships this was by far my best service department experience. Because of this, I will likely buy my next truck at Rich Ford.

Great service department!

Mechanic quickly diagnosed the problem with our vehicle. Our vehicle was fixed, and we were able to get back on the road same morning. Friendly staff. Made us and our dog feel welcome while we waited!

They saved the sale

I first went to the Abq location. Was not happy and took a chance and went to the Edgewood location. They worked with me on issues that Abq didn't seem to care about. Ryan Franklin, John Anderson and Chris Ruiz in Finance were a pleasure to work with. If you want a Ford, drive a little bit further and get personalized attention.

They saved the sale

I first went to the Abq location. Was not happy and took a chance and went to the Edgewood location. They worked with me on issues that Abq didn't seem to care about. Don’t Walk Away Run Away

I was in Edgewood NM visiting a friend. During the visit he needed to take his vehicle in for service. While I was walking around I took a look at some of the new F250s and thought I might buy one. My friend gave a really good review of the dealership overall. My vehicle is a 2015 F250 Lariat with a 6.7 Powerstroke engine. It had 56000 miles on it. And it’s in really good shape. They took pictures of it and checked it out. A hour or so later I came back to pick up my friends car and asked about working a deal on a new truck. The Salesman whom I liked and the only good point of the Visit went back and spoke to the Car Manager meanwhile I sat outside and spoke wit another salesman. I thought it was interesting as I sold cars for about 5 years back in the day. After about 20 min or so the salesman returned and told me they had called around and the best they could do on the trade was 29000. Now for some that seems like a lot. However Blue Book trade in value was 43000. And the only thing wrong with the Truck was it was dirty as I had recently driven from Dallas and I had fishing gear in the back. Now upon my return to the Dallas area I found the truck I wanted and worked a deal. I was given 42000 on my trade and with 13500 off the sticker after rebates on a new 2017 f250 lariat with a 6.7 powerstroke engine. Like I said if you need a new truck stay away from Rich Ford in Edgewood. They can’t be trusted to give Honest trade values or can’t properly book a vehicle. Not to mention in five years of selling cars I never heard of calling around for bids when you carry that brand in your new inventory. Dishonest and would advise everyone to stay away.

Pleasant car buying experience

Very pleasant car buying experience. They gave us a fair trade on our car. No hassles. No pressure. Initial contact was Chris but when we arrived at the dealership, Chris was otherwise engaged. Instead of having us wait he asked Thom to help us out. Thom was very helpful and I appreciate him hanging with us through the whole process. We arrived late in the day, so by the time we were done it was well after 7. Thom spent some time after the sale to explain some of the features in the vehicle. This was very much appreciated. I give it a big thumbs up!

Exceptional at Everything Else but..

My name is Jeremiah Westfall and I wrote a review about this Dealer on May 6th 2015, I like everything about my purchase except the typo of my last name "Estfall" on the thank you letters and if I hadn't gotten the red flag myself from those, the vehicle title.. which was corrected after I bugged them about it. Major Failure and Disrespectful to me as a Consumer. Other than that. I've been taken care of pretty well.

Great experience

My salesman was Chris Corr, he was very knowledgeable and helped me find the best deal for what I needed. I also worked with the manager and the gentalman in finance all very polite and helpful. It's worth the drive from Albuquerque.

Rich Ford Edgewood

We had a wonderful experience with our recent purchase of a new Ford truck. Our sales person, Thom was service oriented and extremely knowledgeable. We felt that he truly cared whether we were getting the right vehicle for our needs. The entire team bent over backwards to get us the best price for our trade as well as help us with the most attractive financing. We drove from the city to this dealership because we had heard that their service exceeded all others and were not disappointed. We will definitely we seeing Thom and Rich Ford Edgewood for our next purchase.
