Sold us a Maserati and a Mercedes Benz 10/28/19 check engine lights came on on both vehicles within 3 days of purchase. We took them back to Ultimo they... had our vehicles for 2 days and they were not repaired and we have to go back when the parts come in. I can’t believe they didn’t offer any type of compensation considering the fact they sold us faulty vehicles and we had to UBer back to Indiana on the count of them saying the Maserati would be 1 hour to repair and the Mercedes would be 3. This has been the worst buying experience we have ever experienced.
Hello, so I purchased a used 2013 Nissan Maxima in October 2017. Alan was very professional and personable. Seemed like a nice and honest dude. So I decided... to go ahead with the vehicle and I left the lot with 60,000 miles on the Nissan. About two weeks ago, the transmission on my Nissan Maxima with 80,000 miles crapped out. And that's $4,000 I don't have. I completely understand that the dealership owes me nothing and that's the risk of buying used. But I did decide to give Ultimo a call to see if there was anything they could do to help me out, since I had only put 20,000 miles on it since it was sold to me less than two years ago. Plus, still financing the car too. So I could really use any kind of help. I got the run around for about a week, when I finally got through to Alan 9 days after my initial call, and after saying he would talk to his GM and see if there was anything they could do for me, a couple days later I called and he basically told me there was nothing he could do. He offered me a phone number for some trans service place they use and said nothing else. It just felt extremely rude and disrespectful that they didn't even make an effort to try and help me considering they sold me a car that I only drove for 22 months before the transmission gave out. I never write negative reviews about anything, but I couldn't hold this one in. Please, everybody, be very cautious when purchasing a used vehicle. And stay far away from Ultimo because they are simply con-artists making money by any means. Thanks and sorry for the long review.
Staff was excellent and very friendly without your typical pressure to buy stick often found in the car market. The selection and condition of cars was... great and they were very knowledgeable about the cars. Gave me a fair value for my trade-in and the overall process was very smooth. I would happily recommend them to a friend and would have no problem buying from them again in the future.
I purchased my car in October 2018 had a problem with it within the 1st week. The staff and general manager took very good care of me making sure that... the car was fixed . Unfortunately 8 months later the company that fixed the car did not do their job right and the car needed to be serviced again. When I called village automotive who did the work they would not fix it without charging me and did not backup their one year warranty and guarantee on labor and parts. When I called the general manager (John ) he didn't hesitate to tell me to bring the car in to him and he would take care of it. Again they had the car fixed and could not have treated me better! I would definitely recommend buying a car from ultimo.
Dennis was excellent and always prompt in responding via email. I was a bit concerned with buying a car out of state but Dennis made the car buying process... extremely pleasant!
I traded in my 2006 Bentley and Andrew my salesman was great. It was the easiest car buying experience I’ve ever had. I called out the day before and when... I got there it was smooth sailing. Totally unacceptable customer service after purchase. We were out of state buyers, told we would receive our tags within 30 days, did not. Were overcharged... for the tags and have not received a refund. Were given the wrong remote key entry by our sales professional Andrew and we were told we would be reimbursed the cost of the new one($350) and have not been. We have just been given the run around with no results. Thanks so much.
Andrew never bothered to get back to me after I called about a BMW. I called, texted and emailed. I also called the GM John Grubbs and he didn't call... me back either. My guess is they sold the car and didn't have the 10 seconds to let me know. This is after I bought a 90k Porsche from them two year ago!
My bride and I are extremely pleased with our recent purchase of a Jaguar XK8 from Ultimo Motors in Westmont. Our salesperson, Jay McKeon , was creative,... helpful and most professional in making this transaction relatively smooth and enjoyable. While the purchase of a car can be fraught with anxiety, we experienced none of that due to Jay's efforts. The car is superb as was our overall experience.
