Awful, do not trust them

They tried to charge us $2600 extra because we were not financing. They said it was in the fine print, it was not. They eventually took it off. Then added another extra charge. Then at the final stage I asked to confirm warranty and was told that it wasn’t certified only certified ready? They are complete cons. They are why car salesman have a bad reputation.

Stateline Subaru, Somerset, MA is AWESOME

I went for an oil change and I bought a NEW car. Jay Deleon walked the lot with me and discussed the various options the new Subaru Outback was equipped with. Jay was funny, low key, and answered all my questions. He let me have time to digest the idea of trading up. When I picked up the car, he spent a long time with me going over all the new updates. I would definitely recommend Jay to anyone.

Subaru Forester Limited

We bought a 2020 Forester from Stateline. Chris is an amazing Salesperson. He cares about his customers. He takes the time to work with you to match you up with the vehicle that is the right fit. We are very happy with Stateline and our purchase. Thank you Chris!

Deceptive and negligent

They were deceptive in their pricing, including discounts that would be unlikely to apply to any customer. They were also negligent in their paperwork. Despite ample time to register our new car, they missed the deadline, costing us days of annoyance and frustration. Avoid.

Deceptive Dealership

I originally got a quote through email from Ali and Tracy after finding the car I wanted on CarGurus. The quote was significantly lower than other quotes I had gotten making me interested in buying from them. For over a week, I was emailing back and forth with them and wanted a clear cut quote as I didn’t want to have to drive 1 ½ hours down there so I asked many questions (what’s not included in the quote, do I have to trade in a car, is there any stipulations) and I was told I didn’t have to trade in a car, all the things not included in the quote were standard things (doc fees: 484, tax, registration). I spoke to another dealer and gave them the quote and they found that with the price they were quoting me, they’d lose ~$1,200. Again, I called and flat out mentioned what the other dealer said and asked how can they be making money in which they basically said it’s just high volume and having to finance through them. I went down there and given a quote which was around $2,000 more than the online quote they gave me. The quote I was given and the online quote includes a recent graduate discount and a military discount which was never mentioned and online it only mentioned that you had to finance through them. The quote included financing for 72 months. If you don’t finance through them it’s an additional $1,500. When I mentioned that this was never mentioned to me and that I was lied to, Inna stated that the whole point of Tracy and Ali was to get me in which she used to excuse the lying. I was already given a lower quote with a dealership who isn’t deceptive with pricing, gave me the exact car I wanted and didn’t require I finance through them. Stateline was able to match the pricing but I had to finance 72 months, get a different color than I wanted that was off of the lot. I went in with the intention of buying a car that day and left due to their lies and immediately bought with a dealership I knew I could trust. Be very careful when purchasing a car here.

Deceptive Advertising, Beware!

Beware of this Dealer. Deceptive internet advertising. They discussed one figure as advertised, then offer nothing onsite. Their Ads are too good to be true.

Straightforward and easy

My friend Eric bought a car there. Very professional, straightforward, and accommodating. Amy and Inna were extremely helpful and made the entire process seamless. I would highly recommend them!

Total disarray

Bought the car. They were going to deliver it to me. Said it would take about 2 weeks. No word from them—I called at the 2 week point. Inna has no update. Josh called about 30 minutes later and said that after I had left the dealer “the girls upstairs” had mishandled and lost my paperwork. No one had attempted to rectify the situation or update me. I asked for an update the next day. No response. The day after, the driver called and said he was on his way to me. No word from Josh, Inna or anyone else. I wonder what would have happened had I not threatened to void the sale

Car purchase experience

If you go to Stateline Subaru with cash or finance with your personal bank, they want to charge you $895 more because they won't get their cut from their investment bank. They wouldn't negotiate on the price, plus the $895 extra added onto the price. I walked out and will not return. Poor management, and poor sales techniques.
