Inconsiderate Car Dealership

You can believe all the negative reviews that you see on line for this dealership. Sadly, I did not heed them. I was lead into a bait and switch scenario when I became interested in a used Subaru Legacy they had for sale on line. I called and was told by Nicole Kaat that the vehicle was still available and that she would have someone go out and verify that it did not have any odor from a smoker. I did not want to drive an hour from Green Bay to find out that the vehicle had any odors. I gave Nicole my phone and asked that she call me if there were any issues so that I did not drive to Sheboygan needlessly. I arrived and immediately became suspicious when the salesman (John) told me that he would have to drive the vehicle around the lot because it had not gone through inspection yet. While we were driving it around the lot, he told me he did not like Subaru's and preferred Honda's. I thought a strange comment coming from someone trying to sell me a vehicle. Then he asked if I would be interested in a Honda Civic that they had on site in the same price range. I told him I was not interested in the Civic and had driven down from Green Bay because I was looking for a Legacy. When we went inside, he went into another Salesman's office and came out and told me the vehicle was already sold! I am not sure if they were engaged in unethical behavior but their processes for managing their inventory are certainly poor. I would not recommend dealing with this company because of this inept and inconsiderate behavior.

Use to be so much better

I purchased our Camry in 2012 when it was Lake Shore and they were the best Customer service was wonderful and you really had a relationship with them, Since they have become International it has been constant down hill. I have actually had to educate there own service people and they can be extremely rude, They have one person in there service that must be a hold over because he is very good but that is all. But I could deal with a lot and have tried to like them but when I took my car in last time and saw the service manager had charged me a 4 dollar appointment fee because he made the appointment for me.

Great Customer Service and Communication

Although I didn't end up purchasing a vehicle at this time, International Toyota Subaru had excellent customer service and great communication with me while I pondered traveling to the dealership to look at a 2007 Subaru they had for auction. They were quick with email replies, and even gave me exact dates and times that I could "safely" test drive the Subaru while still following social distancing guidelines. When I do end up purchasing a car, I would certainly look at their dealership again!

Dissatisfied car buyer

Looked at car and checked it out prior to purchase and decided to buy. It was not detailed when I went to pick it up. They will not take a cashier's check which seems suspicious to me.

Used car purchase.

Daniel Castillo very helpful with purchase of our Altima. Would highly recommend him. Thank you Daniel! Everything went really smooth from beginning to end. Thanks again!

Bait and Switch

I was looking to buy a 2019 Avalon XSE with navigation. Saw their car on Cars.com which advertised that it had the navigation system. I asked if there were two keys and was told yes. We agreed to a price and I gave them a $500.00 credit card deposit to hold the vehicle as I would be driving 2 1/2 hours from Chicagoland. When I arrived, the vehicle only had 1 key and no navigation. I was told this was just a honest mistake, that the vehicle has CarPlay which is the same thing. It is not. The navigation feature is an extra $1.700.00 add-on. It allows you to use the maps in poor cell areas and without your phone. Three separate times their ad claimed the vehicle had a navigation system and the first item listed in the dealer notes on their website was a navigation system. This was a selling point. The cost to make a new key is about $450. They were unwilling to offer any further discount on the price for the missing advertised items. Here's the thing, they lied to me. They wasted 5 hours of my time driving. They are still advertising this vehicle as having a navigation system and presumably will continue to mislead people into coming to their dealership to buy a car that isn't what they advertised. Integrity matters. Do not let them waste your time like they wasted mine.

Got screamed at by Jack, used car sales mgr

My husband was quoted a price by Jack, the used car sales manager. My husband agreed to this price and paid $500 down. When we went to pick the car up and pay the remainder of the price, the $500 we put down was not included. It was Jack's fault that things went wrong- he quoted us the price and put it in writing- but instead of trying to work things out, he began screaming at everyone. At our salesman, Gary, and Erica, the bookkeeping person, he yelled, "YOU NEVER GET THE NUMBERS RIGHT!" and other things my husband can't recall. At my husband, he yelled, "IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE PRICE, THERE'S THE DOOR!". My husband is no pushover but he felt physically afraid. I dropped him off because he planned on driving the car home, but instead he texted me and asked me to pick him up. We have yet to receive our $500 down payment back, even though we were told it would be returned to us in 10 days. Please avoid this dealer, they're a nightmare. It shouldn't be such a hassle to make a used car purchase. I bought my Highlander there in 2014 and my experience was wonderful- the dealership has definitely gone downhill since. Jack needs to be fired- he has no business being any kind of manager.

nothing but lies

we wasted 5 hours driving there to check out a subaru brz they said there were no accidents on the way up there they told us that the rims didn't match but they would replace two of them for a price we got there and the hood wouldn't latch because it had been in an accident even though they denied it the front bumper was cracked and held together with wire ties the bumper was hanging off I think it was used for drifting and the owner wrecked it the frame could be bent when we asked about it they said they would fix it for an extra $500 don't go there they will try to rip you off

New car

We had to go back 3 times to complete the sale. We live approx 1 hr drive away. First time it was close to closing time and they would not stay open to complete paper work. Second time we found an issue with paint. came back and had to go back 3 times. Very poor sales service. Sales person never went over the car options. If you have a choice buy the car at your local area. Even License plate was not put on right two different screw's one stick out 1/2 inch which vibrated the front plate. This location are crooks be aware.
