Bought a vehicle of Jim Shorkey in white oak.

Bought a vehicle of Jim Shorkey in white oak. The sales man I worked with was named Bob, he was so worried on selling a vehicle because it was the end of the month, rushed the process. Sold me the truck without me having my own insurance company (I was on someone else’s). Two weeks later I started to feel the transmission start slipping and shifting hard. Door panel was broken previous before the purchase. Had it in writing that they would repair it. Meanwhile no one mentioned that you had a certain amount of days to get it repaired. Terrible service, this dealer ship is to worried about selling vehicles instead of quality service.

Top shelf general manager . Honest reliable though

Alfie is 2nd to none period . Extremely reliable. Fair reasonable and human. He has risen the standard of auto gms. Should make him gm of all jim shorkey s auto group

Great experience!!!

I had excellet service with Dilan. Very low key dealership. We were able to agree on a price after a few phone calls. Just the way I like it. I went to dealership never seeing or driving the vehicle. I did paper work which is always a long drawn out prosess. That crap lasted about 2 hours. The price I paid for my Mustang GT was very very good. Ny sales person Dilan was fantastic. I paid for car and was able to put 6K on my credit card for perks ($120 savings for me) Great deal!!! The sales manager,Alphie, was cool too. They also dilivered the car to me the next day. I live a l over an hour away. Dilan accually delovered the car himself. Great experience there. As always buying a car is a PIA but this was a lot less painful. I would recomend Jim Shorkey Ford to anyone who wants a great deal and smooth transaction. 2023-GT Kevin S.

Electronic Vehicle Purchase

Happy Customer highly recommend using this dealership for sales and service. Management at this store exceeded my expectations. Most importantly they answer the phone and communicate clearly. They are experts at the EV’s and they did a great job allowing me time to Figure out what I wanted to do but it made sense to do the deal the first day because they knew their products and they gave me all the information I needed to make an informed decision that say. Took my car for service and the department was prompt. Got a really good feeling leaving which isn’t usual for getting a car serviced. The peace of mind is why I only shop here.

Only cares about maximizing their profits

It's clear that Jim Shorkey Ford only cares about maximizing their profits by taking advantage of their customers. I was pressured into purchasing a $1500 protection package (Luxcare XT) after explicitly declining it multiple times. Jim Shorkey Ford refused my request to refund my money and made no effort to resolve the issue. I expressed my concern to both the finance manager (Tony) and the general manager (Alfy), only to be told repeatedly that the car had already been treated and that the money was non-refundable. This excuse seems all too convenient for them. After looking into the Luxcare XT product further, it turns out to be nothing more than common paint sealant, wax, and water repellant - likely worth well less than $100. This product provides very little value for the absurd and unjustifiable cost of $1500. I feel exploited and ultimately deceived. The sales process at Jim Shorkey Ford is intentionally confusing and predatory. I'm shocked that a reputable business would refuse to refund my money for a product that I'm extremely dissatisfied with and didn't want to buy in the first place.

Service lacking

My vehicle was in for service 12/30 just got it back today 2/22. 7 weeks and 3 transmissions later. Communication was poor at best. If I did not call for regular updates I do not believe I would have been updated. Last but not least while the vehicle was inside the shop the windows must have been left down since there is a film of dust and grime covering the entire inside of the vehicle. Just completely unprofessional in every way at this dealership.

What a great place

I have bought 4 cars from Jim Shorkey. I was treated extremely well. The staff is like a big family. I will never go to another dealership.

Dissatisfied

Recently found my contract on my 2017 Escape and at the time we had agreed on a$7,000 rebate. I just read it and found out they only gave me $1,000. I thought I could trust the one who wrote up the contract, apparently they are not trustworthy. Read yours carefully. They just lost a customer and all the friends I know.

Ripoff

The price advertised was with dealership finance only. Even cash resulted in higher price. This is the same dealer financing scam that needs corrected or getting rid of dealerships

Service department

3 hours for an oil change! Very incompetent service department. They broke my key fob in the process and didn't replace it. Bought my truck there with a extended warranty that was 6k extra and nothing is ever covered
