Juanita make sure that we were all good to go when we left with the car, and helped us tremendously get a good deal. After working with 3 other dealers and not being able to...
After working with 3 other dealers and not being able to come to terms, largely due to their stereotypical "car salesman" approach to the deal, it was refreshing to work with the Curnow dealership and more so, Juanita Strapp. The conversation and process was comfortable and genuine. After signing the papers and heading home in my (new to me) 2018 Sierra 1500, I discovered an issue that had not appeared in the test drive. Juanita and the Curnow team were quick to resolve it with no cost out of pocket. I would recommend this Curnow location and specifically Juanita Strapp to anyone else looking for a vehicle.

Good Purchasing Experience
I had been looking for Toyota Tundra for some time and saw one listed at Randy Curnow's dealership in Cameron. When I stopped by on a whim Lindsey, my sales person, let me know that there was an appointment on that truck later that day and they wanted to give him "first right of refusal". I thought this was fair as I would have expected the same treatment. It took almost two weeks but I did get a text from the dealership asking if I was still interested. Randy Curnow had to delay my appointment for a couple of days but I was finally able and drive the truck. Lindsey was very personable, professional, and straight forward which I appreciated. As with traditional dealerships, like Randy Curnow, there is some gamesmanship (aka negotiations) that occur and as far as that goes it was a pretty painless experience. I got a good deal on my new truck and they gave me a very fair price on my trade. From the time I arrived, test drove the truck, negotiated and drove away it took just over three hours. I consider this pretty darn good as I've been stuck in dealerships for way longer on other car purchases at other dealerships! I prefer the more traditional dealerships and this one has the added feeling of a small hometown locally owned dealership. I will definitely be keeping Lindsey and Randy Curnow in mind for my next purchase.

Don't Be Tricked by Randy Curnow Cameron Chevy GMC
Randy Curnow Cameron Chevy GMC dealership uses unethical sales tactics. I'm not local so everything was done over the phone and online using Cars.com. We agreed to a price on a new 2021 GMC 2500HD AT4. Martha the Salesperson presented me a purchase order that we both agreed to. Then her and her manager wanted a $1000 deposit which I gave them with a credit card. Martha told me I had to fill out a credit application even though I wanted to use my own Bank. I filled out a credit application and they ran my credit which came back excellent. The finance manager Steph or Stephany called me and wanted me to use their GM financing which was 2.2 percentage points higher than my bank and over $50 a month higher payment. She explained that this is how they make their money, and told me I could just refinance it in two years for a better rate. She also offered me a nominal discount that didn't come close to covering the higher interest rate and monthly payment. I declined and told them I would just like to use my bank. Steph then called me back and said since they couldn't make money off the financing they were just going to sell the truck to someone else. The following day I got a call from Bank of America, apparently Steph had gone so far as to submit a loan application without my permission. I told the bank to cancel it. The whole process was very disturbing.

Off their game
Dealership is at the end of a paved road that turns to gravel so most of their cars have dust on them. I guess since I had to make an appointment to look at the car, I assumed they would have at least run it through the car wash, but no. Cleared the dust with the wipers but had to take it to the local car wash myself to clean the other windows and the rest of the car myself. Travel an hour from my home and made an appointment.

Great Service
We went to Randy Curnow and Adam and Lyndsey helped us. We told them the budget we needed to stay within and that we were looking for an SUV. They gave us a lot of options. They made sure we were completely satisfied and helped us with a trade in and the best option for the trade. We are completely satisfied and will go back again when we are ready for a new vehicle.
