I actually have not been able to get to this location as of yet, but so far, the attention I am getting from the staff is great! I've been needing a "new" car, and they have what I want in stock....it's all just a matter of symmetrics now. I look forward to dealing with them in person when I find the perfect fit for me there.

bait and switch/shady sales people

Worst customer service experience I’ve ever encountered. First it was classic bait and switch to get me in the door. Then rude, disrespectful and lying car salesman when I called them out for their shady practices. I arrived with a pre-approved loan and $7k in my pocket for a down payment. Instead of leaving with the car I wanted, I left with the presence of Scottsdale police and a disgusted taste in my mouth for how I was treated! First they refused to honor the $12,000 price on the car I was given over the phone on a car that was advertised for $12,500. After telling the guy “I drove all the way from Peoria” to buy a car based on the price I was given over the phone only a couple hours earlier (we are talking $500 less than the advertised price) the sales guy replied “so what, I drive from Peoria every day” as he threw up his hands in the air! After telling them I would go ahead and buy the car at full asking price, but I would be contacting corporate and their regional manager about how I was treated, they then refused my business claiming that I was rude and verbally abusive to the sales lady named Barbara. After questioning him about how I was rude and verbally abusive to the sales lady, he was unable to articulate his bogus and unfounded claims. I then went and asked the sales lady point blank to her face in his presence if I was “verbally abusive” to her and she replies “well, you were being short with me”. What? They then called the police! Yes, they called the Scottsdale police! I gladly waited with my wife and 9 year old daughter who was confused and asking questions on why this sales guy was lying and acting this way! The to guys refused to give me their names or business cards when asked. Refused to give me the name of the branch manager. Went to the Phoenix location on Bell Rd. before and after this incident and experienced only professionalism. Can’t say the same about the Scottsdale location! Waiting to hear back from corporate and their regional manager to see how they handle my experience. I was able to record much of this incident with my cell phone. Interested to see how it gets handled. I will leave an update later!

Cool guys...messed up on the details

They were accommodating of my schedule and had me in and out of the dealership with a car pretty quickly. After that, things took a turn. They never sent a lost key fob they promised me, and they messed up my paperwork with the MVD, so I had to pay out of pocket to make sure I wasn't driving on expired temp tags. Nice enough guys to talk to during the process, but a shoddy operation.

Misleading information!

Dealing with Brian is less than enjoyable unless you like being deceived on the details! Seems to think that a interest rate more than double of the lenders is "only small pennies" , easy to say when its not his money getting spent. Do not buy here, just too many little lies and cant trust this place.

Use caution when doing business with HERTZ CAR SAL

Buyers Beware! Use caution when doing business with HERTZ CAR SALES SCOTTDALE AND FIDELITY WARRANTY SERVICES. I’ve experienced nothing but issues from Hertz Car Sale Scottsdale. I purchased a 2016 Nissan Rogue back in the summer of 2017. Hertz Car Sale Scottsdale sold me a vehicle and VIN that was different from the Vehicle and VIN listed on my buyer's contract. I discovered the mistake a few days later and contacted the dealership. I have to said that the management team was less than professional about correcting their careless error. I spent additional time contacting my insurance company and the MVD to correct their mistake and update my records. I expressed my concerns to the Finance Manager and GM at the time. GM’s response to my concerns was extremely unprofessional and nasty. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT BEST! I made the mistake of getting an extended warranty, which I did not ask for or need, but the Financial Manager kept insisting that I would need an extended Warranty. FINANCE MANAGERS ALWAYS PUSH EXTENDED WARRANTY FOR THEIR BENEFIT NOT THE CUSTOMERS. I finally sold my vehicle on February 12, 2019. I canceled my Fidelity Warranty on February 18, 2019, and I still haven’t received my warranty cancellation refund. Both Hertz Car Sale Scottsdale and Fidelity Warranty have been giving me the run-around, and often not returning my calls. I’ve been contacting Hertz car sales and Fidelity warranty regarding my refund since March 26, 2019. Fidelity policy states that cancellation return should be processed in 6 to 8 weeks. It is now May 21, 2019, and no one from either company has provided me with an update regarding the status of my refund. I CAUTION POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS TO DO BUSINESS WITH HERTZ CAR SALE SCOTTSDALE OR THE EXTENDED WARRANTY COMPANY FIDELITY WARRANTY SERVICES. I’m telling my story because I do not want others to deal with the nonsense I’m currently dealing with both these companies. There are better dealerships out there; please do your research on the dealership before purchasing, AND AVOID PURCHASING UNNECESSARY PRODUCTS, SERVICES, AND EXTENDED WARRANTIES FOR YOUR CAR WHENEVER POSSIBLE.

Very professional and they are there to help

I would recommend my friends and family to this place. John Fliss my sale person was there to help with any cars I wanted to test drive....no pressure, no hassle and helped thru buying processes. Very professional.

Fantastic decision!

My husband and I had been looking online for a good used car for several weeks. All the places we went tried to push us into buying a more expensive car than we were in the market for, because of how much we "qualified" for. Until we visited Ricky and Dave at the Hertz Scottsdale location. We arrived at around 3:00 pm, the car we saw online was the car I test drove, and it was the price I was looking to pay. No hidden gimmicks or fast talking. We were driving our 2016 Hyundai Elantra home by 6:15 pm! Very happy with this place and will be back again.
