Ideal Auto

I purchased a QX80 Infinity from them February 26, 2026for my birthday drove nearly two hours to purchase the car. On February 27, 2027 called dealership and finance company to report the issue. After making serval trips to Raleigh for the dealership to fix the issue, each time the issue gotten worse. The last time I was April 9, 2026, taking the vehicle back to Raleigh. My husband called and I call about the same issues going on with the vehicle but the steering wheel is hard to steer. They didn’t want us to take it to a dealer service center closer to us because they know that we would find out that it was going to cost nearly $5000 to fix. They wouldn’t take our calls after lying that they would call us back. Thank you Matt for not calling us back. They kept us running back and forth because they wanted the 30 day warranty with the dealership to run out. They were nasty.

Dishonest and unethical business. Took me 2 months to get my car registered. Multiple other issues promised and never delivered. After multiple phone call and having my plates revoked by the DMV for not being registered, finally resolved after me going to the DMV.

Bought a car from here, dealer did not disclose after market modifications. Now warranty voided due to modifications. Left with $5000 repair bill (one if the many repairs car has needed) and left with no warranty. George is not willing to help us at all. He does not care about customers. He buys cars from junk auctions and cares about making $$$$, We have driven our car 7 weeks out of 7 months we have owned the car,

Bought a truck and a month later wet to check the spare tire found no jack nor tire tools in the truck. I was promised one would be ordered. When the jack arrived it was the wrong jack and tire tools. Was promised a call back that day and has been 5 days. I had to remove the spare tire carrier to get the tire from under the truck. Buyer inspect the vehicle very closely. The money I thought I saved I will have to spend on jack and tire tools.

My salesman Charles was great!!! He was patient and very informative anout the vehicle I chose. I would buy from Ideal Auto again and will send my friends and family there to purchase their vehicles also.
