Sold my car here October of 2023 and I am still waiting

Sold my car here October of 2023 and I am still waiting on payment from Ken Mattson, I have called, text, email anything I can do and I am out a car and money. I should of looked here first as there are lots of reviews that go way back. I have found out if you have not been paid Contact Western Surety Company, Po Box 5077, Sioux Falls, SD 57117 Bond# 64645969 - (605) 330-4694 - this is on the DMV site and is public information. Tom & Lisa will sell you on the process and its not 100% a lie, my car sold pretty quickly. When it came time to pay or get answers that is when their attitude changed, a 360. Its like they are mad at me because the company owes me for my car and they make excuses and get very rude when pressed. I am sorry but 80K is allot of money to me and they made 10k from my car. Greedy if you ask me, but just pay me and we can move on. Appears I have to get/pay for an attorney to try and get anything from them. Good Luck out there BEWARE!!

Not my kind of place...

Stopped in to see a car that was advertised on their site...IT- WAS -NOT- THERE......I looked around at the cars that were on display..They were very overpriced..I was respectful in dealing with the person that approached me but I knew it was not to be returned..I remained cordial in our discussion, but realized it is not a place for me to return to --EVER..

HORRIBLE!

HORRIBLE! Owner Ken Mattson is is a liar, coward and thief. Took my money (upfront) to list the car. Took my money (upfront) to fix “safety” issues in house. Took 29 days of agony, lies and deception to pay me! He hides like a coward behind his cell phone. Will NOT communicate with you. He will hold your money (several people up to 50 days) before he pays you. I am not alone in this scam. Virtually EVERY car he sells, he holds your money hostage. Check his Google reviews and Better Business Bureau reviews (from sellers, not buyers. SELLER BEWARE!!!

Manager Tom has is very unprofessional and rude.

Manager Tom has is very unprofessional and rude. We went to look at a car they have on consignment and there asking 120k for and he acts like your the bad person for pointing out the flaws in the car. For a 120K it should be pretty flawless and definitely was not. But his attitude was everything. From the start. If you choose to spend your money there it is your choice. Just don't say anything and you will be fine. If you do criticize something be ready for Toms rather. He’s been doing this for years he is a good judge of character. Pretty sure I would not want someone like him representing my dealership.

Contacted them questioning their advertisement as it was

Contacted them questioning their advertisement as it was billed as a 2014 GT500, and clearly was not. The response I received was rude and condescending, telling me, among other things, to check my facts as it was a GT based Shelby American GT 350. I sent them a screen shot of their own add, showing they advertised it as a GT500, and they had nothing to say. I don't care if they had my dream car on sale for $1, never doing business with these clowns!!!!!

Violation of contract

Ken Mattson the owner has difficulty in paying his customers within the stated "within 20 days" as specified in his contract post sale. He is not responsive and allows his employees to deal with irate customers . Very poor businessman with disregard for his customers

It was a waist of my time and gas.

You should let people know on your site that its also appt only during the week and not just on the weekend. I came during the week and there was nobody in your store and your employee came out and said its by appt only. I didn't like his attitude. Its too bad because I was very interested in one of your cars.

Still No Title for my car

I boight a vehicle a year ago. Paid for title and sales taxes. A year later and I have an expired temporary registration, no title, no registration, and they continue to be unresponsive. I was given several different excuses. Next step is going to be reporting to the DMV is and possible legal actions. I recommend you stay away.
