Dan helped evaluate my old X5 and get me into the car of my dreams! He was very helpful and informative about my options. We thought because of the low value of my trade in that things might not work, but Dan was able to work with my husband to find a solution. I love my new X5! I drive all over the state and it is now fun.....
Extremely disappointed with my service experience
I recently purchased a used 5 Series (not through Sharpe). I brought it to them because who better to inspect, diagnose, and let me know exactly where the car stands, right? They are expensive, but I was willing to pay the premium for their presumed expertise. I came in and paid for an oil change, as well as two $80 diagnostic fees, one for the iDrive and one for low boost. I have no idea what I got for that $160, but they failed to properly diagnose either problem. My iDrive controller is not responding. They tell me I need a new one. A basic diagnostic scan shows that the controller is sending all commands properly, but the head unit is faulty. I had a low boost condition code. They write me for two new turbos, when a simple smoke test shows a vacuum leak (about $5 and 5 minutes to fix). Apparently there was a "courtesy inspection" as part of the oil change. I’m not sure what this entailed. They missed a transmission line that was leaking and completely came off of the fitting THE NEXT DAY. Other things missed by their inspection include a torn air filter and warped and grooved brake rotors. On a positive note, they seem to have actually changed the oil, and the waiting room is very nice.

We did find the vacuum leak and it is noted on your invoice but, unfortunately, that rarely addresses the issue in its entirety. We would be happy to re-address our findings with you and walk you through our diagnostic process to make sure you are comfortable with how we arrived at the conclusion. We understand your frustration and do not want you walking away unsatisfied!
Great Experience at Sharpe

Great out-of-state experience!

I have been Sharpe’s customers since 2001. I purchased from these people three X5 V8 and two 7 LI series vehicles. Always polite, ready to help. The service a little pricey but good quality. Tom Dunn, service manager, Jason Bigollow service advisor, George Sr., George Jr. owners, Bill service technician all special people. Certainly not everything goes 100% perfect but overall it is one of the best dealerships I worked with.

I purchased an X1 last month. Anthony Soule was fine; however, a female by the name of Mary McCabe was a totally different story. Never thought that I’d experience racism as well as white-privilege from this place.

No Respect For Customers
I contacted Anthony regarding a new build. He initially told me Sharpe was the only dealer in the state that could obtain this particular model and that it would only take 6-8 weeks to build (both incorrect and he admitted to as much after I pointed this out to him). He then said he would get back to me the following day regarding allocation. I never heard back from him despite multiple calls and emails. Steer clear of this place.
