Best Vehicle Purchase Experience Ever!!!!

Let me start by saying, I have always been been a Cadillac lover for my vehicles. I decided I wanted to try a different look, but I was loss on what my next vehicle would be. I test drove many high end vehicles and not until I found the BMW dealership on 28th st/Grand Rapids did I feel this is the right fit for me. My sales person John Sergeant was amazing from my very 1st phone call inquiring on a specific BMW X3. He was never pushy or overwhelming on his sale and once I test drove it I was sold! This whole entire dealership team is awesome and the best I have worked with. They seriously are like this big family atmosphere with each bringing their own specialty. They even have their own tech savvy person Drew a major + for me. End of the day they made my 1st purchase of a BMW the best ever and they are now my one stop shop for and any maintenance and future vehicle purchases.

Jason Bigelow made one of the hardest days for me so much...

Jason Bigelow made one of the hardest days for me so much better. This is the anniversary of my husband's death. Garrett had many BMW cars. Jason has been there to fully listen and solve all the situations that we have had before Garrett died, during his many trips to Ann Arbor and after he died for me. Today Jason added the 2 X LED Logo lights and stem caps to my car, did a hand wash of the vehicle and would not let me be charged for this added service. The personnel in sales parts were though, quick and professional to work with. I am greatly relieved to have your team at Sharpe BMW.



Dan Erdei made it a good experiece buying my BMW X6. He was able to deliver within 6 -8 weeks. I will ask for Dan again in about 2 yrs.


Not trustworthy.

These are crazy times but this dealership is your typical “bait and switch” pipe operation and that’s frustrating. I wanted to buy a car at this dealership and it was clearly marked on as having a $7000 discount probably because it was a demonstrator. When it came time to buy, they simply disregarded the price that was clearly shown on and told me I would have to pay full MSRP for the car. Mind you, This wasn’t a mistake on their part, they simply decided they wanted more money for the car once I informed them I was ready to buy. Frustrating to say the least and I would not recommend this dealer if you were able to go elsewhere.

In these challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic climate, it is very questionable about leasing a vehicle if one is in the high-risk category for COVID-19, such as myself. I would like to express a heartfelt THANKS for my extra special service on Thursday October 8, 2020. I haven’t felt like a princess, since my grandparents were alive. Dan Erdei is certainly a man of integrity as well as your BMW Detail Manager Brett Sisson. They both gave me peace of mind about my decision to lease a vehicle. Thanks so much Sharpe for your excellent standard of service.


Horribly unprofessional, sales funnel issues and don't care

Worst experience ever by far of any dealership. When I paid $65k cash for my High Country, never had an issue (other dealer). This dealer has a full sales funnel that uses covid19 as excuse to limit you to 1-2 cars only to view, then decide. They spout they are not on commission and because of that, they DON'T CARE about a sale. When I had appt at 130, I was there at 1:15, sat until 1:45, no one helped just stood inside. This is a HORRIBLE Horrible dealer, find another Mini Cooper dealer if you must buy a mini (great car - bad dealer). Cash customer moving on.


Great Experience - Dan Erdei was excellent!

Dan helped evaluate my old X5 and get me into the car of my dreams! He was very helpful and informative about my options. We thought because of the low value of my trade in that things might not work, but Dan was able to work with my husband to find a solution. I love my new X5! I drive all over the state and it is now fun.....


Extremely disappointed with my service experience

I recently purchased a used 5 Series (not through Sharpe). I brought it to them because who better to inspect, diagnose, and let me know exactly where the car stands, right? They are expensive, but I was willing to pay the premium for their presumed expertise. I came in and paid for an oil change, as well as two $80 diagnostic fees, one for the iDrive and one for low boost. I have no idea what I got for that $160, but they failed to properly diagnose either problem. My iDrive controller is not responding. They tell me I need a new one. A basic diagnostic scan shows that the controller is sending all commands properly, but the head unit is faulty. I had a low boost condition code. They write me for two new turbos, when a simple smoke test shows a vacuum leak (about $5 and 5 minutes to fix). Apparently there was a "courtesy inspection" as part of the oil change. I’m not sure what this entailed. They missed a transmission line that was leaking and completely came off of the fitting THE NEXT DAY. Other things missed by their inspection include a torn air filter and warped and grooved brake rotors. On a positive note, they seem to have actually changed the oil, and the waiting room is very nice.

We did find the vacuum leak and it is noted on your invoice but, unfortunately, that rarely addresses the issue in its entirety. We would be happy to re-address our findings with you and walk you through our diagnostic process to make sure you are comfortable with how we arrived at the conclusion. We understand your frustration and do not want you walking away unsatisfied!


Great Experience at Sharpe

Just bought my first car BMW M235XI at Sharpe BMW. Dan Erdei was an amazing help and and I will be returning to Sharpe BMW and look forward to working with Dan again in the future! :)
