They treat the customers like family and are straight forward about they vehicles they sell. I would recommend Towpath to anyone in the market for a used vehicle.

So lets start off with business ethic. To me this is an important part when it comes to buying a car. I had the story like everyone else-I needed a car ASAP. I called if they would be a good fit for me bc in the end youre not only buying a vehicle but youre buying a company name that you should be proud of. You want your friends to ask where you got your car and they are gonna ask if you like the business that is performed so you wanna make sure you don?t have the worst buying used car story of the world. After doing countless hours of research and deciding what company to choose from I decided that I would do some research on how they perform business and see what other thought of them. And if this is a co I WOULD WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH, cause for me this is a year long relationship. After doing all this research Towpath was the company I chose. As I stated in the beginning, I came in at 4:30pm-they close at 6pm-it was Friday they wanted to start their weekend just like everyone else. I walked in asked to test drive a car I had my eye on when I started my research and the process was fast, they grabbed the keys asked me for my drivers license, and printed it then let me go on my test drive. The car wasn?t the best looking but it had four wheels and a motor, doesn?t leak oil or any other fluid. Drove it around, got on the highway got under the car and made sure everything was sound. Drove it back to the shop, there was people everywhere buying cars left and right which made me feel good about buying this bc a business that does bad business has no business and THIS WAS NOT THE CASE! I had to wait my turn to buy a car which to me is a good thing bc the more business I see the better I feel. I filled out the paperwork (which was simple) gave to to Steve, he called me into the office area and we got the ball rolling. He was very honest, and upfront, he said these are USED cars, they are going to need something sooner or later, I kinda felt bad bc he felt the need to explain this. Who wouldn?t understand that this was the case? But he was very upfront. He told me that it is an AS IS lot. But if something happens to call him and he will help with anything that I needed help with. He was upfront and told me that it needed an alignment and that he has a guy who does them cheap and he would work with me so I could get this done asap. I felt good leaving as if it was right choice to make. I had one issue, not with the company but with the car parse, bc it needed the alignment the tire was really in bad shape, I planned on getting a new tire Fri (10/2), but it blew 9/27. Got a tire, and something was wrong with the rim and I went through that tire as well, after not knowing what to do, I called Steve, explained what happened. He called me RIGHT back and told me that he didn?t have any tires in stock but he could get a donut put on the car for me. He told me where to go and who to ask for. When I showed up they knew who I was bc Adam from Towpath called them and told them I was coming in, I go the donut put on. Drove to Towpath to talk to them one on one as I feel this is how business should be conducted. Steve explained to me that he would take care of me, and I was confused he said come back and we will get a new tire put on for you, you just bought the car and were sorry that it happened well take good care of you. I was so PLEASED. Most companies would have said well we have a contract this is an as is lot and you chose what you did now you have to fend off the wolves. It wasn?t like that at all. He was honest and true to his word. Towpath is a company I would recommend to anyone looking for a car in the Akron area, they had all sorts of cars to choose from and they have different cars come in all the time. If you wait for a car you want it may not be there the next week bc someone already got that deal. Steve, Adam, Mike, all treated me like I was family! It was a warm fuzzy feeling! :)
