Beware of Terrible Customer Service at Capitol Ford I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Capitol Ford, and I felt compelled to share my dismal encounter to warn potential customers. My interaction with this establishment was nothing short of a nightmare, and I am left with no choice but to sever all ties with them. The pinnacle of my dissatisfaction was the encounter with the General Sales Manager, Stephen Minchell. His condescension and lack of professionalism were appalling. It was clear that customer service is not a priority for him, and his attitude left me questioning why he holds such a significant position within the organization. One would expect a manager to embody the values of the dealership and set a positive example, but unfortunately, this was not the case. This incident was not an isolated one; rather, it reflects a broader pattern of incompetence and negligence throughout the entire dealership. From top to bottom, I encountered a multitude of issues that have left me thoroughly disillusioned. It is disheartening to witness such a lack of commitment to customer satisfaction. Considering the plethora of alternatives available, I see no reason to subject myself to the subpar treatment and service offered by Capitol Ford. They have unequivocally lost my business, and I am determined to ensure others are spared from the frustration and disappointment that I experienced. In conclusion, if you value your time, money, and sanity, I strongly advise against patronizing Capitol Ford. There are countless other dealerships that prioritize customer satisfaction and professionalism, making them far more deserving of your business. Save yourself the headache and steer clear of this woefully inadequate establishment.

Whole car buying process in under 24 hrs

From the initial contact in the evening to driving home in a new car before noon the following day. Cody Elemen was great, ( laid back, no pressure and efficient). He got everything squared away on his end before i got there so i could just sign the needed documents and be on my way, wasn't even at the dealership 2hrs total (included test driving the car, running a credit check, securing financing, signing paperwork). They also fueled the tank up all the way which was appreciated. Capital offered a fair deal a few% under msrp and Ford credit got my apr way lower on the loan than any bank rate going these days. Rachel Murphy in finance finished the transaction and didn't rush me thru the process, ( we were done with all of it in under 20 min) and explained what forms were for what and answered any questions I had. Overall a great first time buying experience, really polite and friendly. Cody Elemen, Rachel Murphy thank you for your courtesy, efficiency, and your humble genuineness.

Loved working with this dealership!

Loved working with this dealership! They made me a fair offer for my trade and got me a very fair deal on the new vehicle. They were somewhat slower with communication at times but always came through. They even made a long delivery to my doorstep!

The lack of effort on behalf of the Capitol sales team is

The lack of effort on behalf of the Capitol sales team is a big part of the reason I bought my 2023 Explorer from Frontier Ford. Frontier got the exact Explorer I wanted and never tried to upsell.

First time used car buyer

Cody was amazing! I began researching for a used car in early June and finally found my dream car but within my budget. Affordable and great value for my trade. I would definitely recommend this dealership and/or consider trading in again in the future. I went in nervous and anxious and as soon as I sat down I was immediately relieved calm and this was honestly the smoothest car buying experience ever.

Great buying experience

I originally reached out online looking for a used Kia EV that was showing up on their website. I got an immediate response from Josh and was able to set up a test drive right away. Josh was great during the visit to the office and the test drive, with ABSOLUTELY ZERO pressure, which is one of my pet peeves. We decided to complete the purchase at that time, and other than sort of a long wait to meet with Finance, it was a smooth transition. Amir in Finance made the process fast and easy--electronic signatures really make the process fly along!--and he was very clear with his explanations of what we were signing and why. Also zero pressure on the extended warranty and service contracts. By the time we were done signing the car was ready for us. Overall, a really pleasant experience from top to bottom.

RUN FAR from this joke of a dealership.

RUN FAR from this joke of a dealership. They know how to sell but they don't know to fix the problems that they sell you. I've brought my 2019 explorer in for the 12th...that's right,TWELVTH TIME. Just picked it up and supposedly all issues were fixed....WRONG!!!!! I literally didn't even drive off before what I brought it in for failed to launch. RUN THE xxxx AWAY from this dealership.

Capital Ford does not understand customer service

My first visit to this dealership was for oil change. I was informed they are short on employees and running a little behind. So I left my truck @8:30 am and returned @ 4pm still had to wait 1hr. Next visit to pick up a replacement battery around 1pm was informed they were on lunch. Both parts and cashier, so I had to wait and do did several other customers for lunch hour to finish. Run into the same issue when returning my battery core. Might think of staggering lunch hours for employees as this will help customers service levels. These interactions with Capital ford in San Hose have left me feeling like customer service is not a consideration. This is strike three for me and going to find another Ford dealership. Also going to complain to Ford directly.
