“Beware “

Rented a car from Kulp and thought I have car rental insurance but was lied to about the coverage . “BEWARE “ I got in an accident with the car and thought I have car rental insurance but it only cover $1000 deductible It was not explained to me so beware of the coverage you take out .

WORSE PLACE

When Initially called to rent from here, I asked how much everything would be I paid $250 for the car and $100 for mileage on top of $250 hold fee. ALL UPFRONT. When I got there I asked when will I be billed again, I was told that its 5 days but they are closed so then Monday. I was then billed on SATURDAY and the fee had taxes included. Mind you I had no taxes included when I paid $500. The refund I then received after returning the car was less then what I paid, I was told becuase taxes was taken out. Why was NONE of this mentioned to me and straight forward from the beginning when I asked. Then for the money to not be taken out on Sunday but Saturday and I was told Monday was a HUGE surprise. That is not a little bit of money and was very shocking that this was taking out a day early and they didn't even know if I was keeping the car early or not to do that. Then when I explained it to the woman Kristi she said this was on the contract where you don't see that until you pick the car up and at this point, I have already paid.

Car Rental Bill Unresolved

Last year I used Kulp Rentals through an auto body shop while they were fixing my vehicle. I returned the car less than a week after use, and the auto body shop called Kulp to let them know the car had been returned. Kulp did not pick up the car even after the auto body shop followed up again. After 30 days (conveniently the standard time that an insurance company covers), Kulp called to come get the car and proceeded to send us a bill for $900 saying that the car was unable to be used because it was sitting in the lot and had not been called in. After more than 6 months of back and forth, being treated poorly over the phone, not able to be in touch with a manager and the auto body shop following up on our behalf multiple times, Kulp still has not taken ownership of the mistake. Even one of their own employees on the phone divulged that they have a habit of not writing down when cars are called in and the auto body shop has had multiple incidences of the same behavior. We will be following up with the Better Business Bureau and reporting them for insurance fraud as this seems to be a common occurrence.

16th car my family of 12 has purchased

Snacks and drinks for my kiddos as we waited to pick up a car to test drive. They had it ready off the lot in 30 mins. We drove it for 2 days and loved the car. It was bare bones(no bells and whistles). We wanted a little more and wanted to check other places out even though my family had always gone to Kulp. On the way out Denise actually told us that this is a lot of money, you should 100% love the car you are buying, and told us we needed to shop around. *shocked* She even offered to hold the car for 3 days to let us shop around and think about it. *shocked* After searching around we couldn't even come close to Kulp's prices. We called back to set up another look. This time I came with questions. I wanted to know if they could add features to the car...backup camera, bluetooth, floor mats, remote start, etc. She actually handed me the auto body shop number and told me I could call and talk with them to get upgrade specific pricing. That way I could tell them exactly what I wanted. I called Denise back and told her the upgrades that I wanted with the pricing they gave. I asked her what Kulp's markup of the upgrades would be. She told me they do NOT markup work. Especially when the work isn't done by Kulp. *super shocked* Once again I was amazed at Kulp and their service. We had been given a price that was 6k less than anywhere around and that included all the upgrades we were paying for!!! I will never go anywhere else again. Ever. Car repairs too. Most honest mechanics around!!!

Rental car, through official dealer ship Nissan

I tried repairs my Nissan NV 200 on limreck 422 Nissan dealership,has orange tinny spot. Dealship located 1 hour from my home, I am requsted rental car Because I need go back to work and specific time 6-7 am, we was agreed 7 :30 am on Monday, which is not good for me! I was asked manager from Nissan what kind car I was get - he sad I have no idea we used difrent company not Nissan provided rentals. I got call from kulp car rental and we start applied process by phone, I am requested sendme contract of rental car But person from company keept told me ,we can't do it! I was send my all information (copy, credit card, registration, insurance) to company, I tried to requst send me contract before used my credit card - person from company sad no we can't send contract, I am asked speak with superwiser and was conected to him. He sad : we can't help you and please find another company for rent car! I checked my account 50 $ was hold ! I tried call back requested my money back and send me some confirmation email with number of return money back and I was got answer : we can't not send any conformation! My money still on hold !

great service and great people

It was a no pressure purchase. They make sure you are totally happy before you decide to buy. We will definitely check with them before going somewhere else to purchase our next vehicle for the church.
