Bad business practice

They had a car wrapped up in a lemon law problem, they had been sitting on it for a year, despite that my wife and I were interested in it, we put and $500 deposit on it. Because of the lemon law banks were uninterested in qualifying it for a loan…. After some back and forth for a few months we got a bank to work with us.. told them on a Tuesday we had financing was told we’d need a new purchase order by hugo the owners son and person we were dealing with called back a day later with check in hand and was then told he sold it and refunded my deposit the Saturday before we got financing. Shady car dealership!!!! Stay away!!

don't negotiate with the owner's child.

got hosed. called in to see if a car i saw online was available the next day for a test drive. of course when i get there, someone is just finishing a test drive and is also very interested. the car had been sitting on their lot for a more than a few weeks. the other test driver was likely friends with the owner's child, who was my salesperson. considering the timing of that test drive and how the two were talking as loudly as possible about how great the car was, i don't think i'm reaching here... in a world of crossover SUVs, it's a pretty undesired car. salesperson/owner's child refused to negotiate price bc conveniently "the usual guy wasn't around that day and isn't picking up the phone. oopsy" (paraphrased) at this point he was basically implying all the negotiation chips are with him, and him only. was desperate, so went through with the deal... when i went to pick it up, nothing i had asked to be fixed was even looked at. the sales-child didn't xfer plates like i asked. ended up with new ones. more ignoring the customer. fast forward 3 months, i need to mount new tires bc they were worn out very quickly and the car was shaking at speeds <50mph... turns out there's two minor bent rims, but just enough to need two new rims. all four were seized onto the car. in addition, i had to remove the stock radio bc it was causing a parasitic drain on the battery. specifically asked them about the radio, too... not a good sales experience and got hosed when i was in a desperate need of a vehicle. the car gets me around as needed, but i certainly over paid for what i got and am pretty dissatisfied with the entire sales experience. they played some classic sales-lizard games on me weeks before i was getting married. i really don't appreciate that. i didn't have many options at the time and just had to let it happen. the only power i have now is to write this review about my experience. don't shop here.

Highly recommend

Awesome experience! These guys got me into the car I wanted, and helped through any small hiccups along the way. They were quick to fix the small things I had asked of them right away and I was able to drive away that same day!

Selling Vehicle

Matt responded to an ad I placed for selling a vehicle. Pleasant to deal with. His father and brother ended up coming to the Vineyard to complete the transaction. Very professional. Would definitely work with them again to sell or buy a vehicle.

New used car owner

I can't say enough about this place. I drive past it every day on my way home from work. I have been looking around for a new car for a while and after looking at their website, I decided to go in and look at the car I had picked. Hugo and Matt were very accommodating and friendly. An hour after walking in the door, I was told that I am the owner of my chosen car, thanks to Joe, who handles the finance aspect. Buying a car has never been so easy and stress-free. I will be going back to them when it is time for another new car and highly recommend this place.

1985 Pontiac Fiero GT

I was in the market for a Pontiac Fiero when I came across their dealership that had one. When i went, I dealt with Matt, who was easy going and therefore I felt no pressure. Granted I was considering a vintage car so a perfect car was not expected. He answered all of my questions regarding the car and even offered limited information on the previous owner which helped give me a sense of continuity with the history of the car. I purchased the car and although early in my ownership, the car seems to be as described.

Amazing! Experience!

I can’t say enough about this place! I met Hugo first then his brother Matt, then Joe who does the finance, they also have a cockatoo bird Coco he is very welcoming as well felt very comfortable. Hugo was amazing! answered all my questions and was very patient and not overbearing like other places, and takes the time to see what you really want and makes it happen! I drove over an hour and it was worth the trip highly recommend they got me in my first Toyota RAV4 I love it! They will get you financed and on the road!
