Service department needs a lot of training and customer

Service department needs a lot of training and customer service skills. John Turiano decided it was a great idea to argue with a long term customer on Friday. I came in for my service and was set expectations by another service member in regards to my service and I was argued about it until a manager was called over. Unfortunately, the manager was just as concerned about $$ and not satisfying a customer of 13 years. After 3 hours, my car was still being “washed” and when asked about it John was aggressive and dismissive. A young man saw my face, followed me into the service waiting area and apologized for his lack of professionalism. He showed me where the managers sat if i wanted to communicate with them. This was a disappointing experience. No customer should ever feel as if she isn’t wanted there or mistreated. At the end of waiting my 3 hours, i was told my car was ready. There was no thorough explanation of what was done to my car, all that mattered was I had a credit card ready to pay and was dismissed. Huge disappointment.

Thank you for reaching out. I will give you a call back by Monday. However, I just want a solution not a continuous conversation of what has been said. The service manager just wanted to discuss what happened and did not provide a solution or follow up. My car truthfully doesn’t feel smooth and isn’t driving the way it should be. I even asked my mom to drive it to confirm it wasn’t just me.

I visited the Ray Catena Lexus Dealership on three separate occasions and had the pleasure of meeting Michael Barone. Michael was both knowledgeable and friendly and helped me make the decision that was right for me. I am so thankful that I put my trust in him! It was obvious to me that Michael genuinely cared about my concerns and addressed every one with immediate attention, giving me the advice and answers that I needed...The Lexus financial manager, Jimmy, was also a true pleasure to do business with! He was extremely knowledgable and I felt confident putting my trust in him too..Purchasing my 2017 Lexus ES 350 was a pleasant experience and I am very thankful that I did business with these good people at Ray Catena Lexus. Thank you Michael and Jimmy!!

Have you ever wondered why car dealerships have such a bad reputation? Look no further than Ray Catena Lexus of White Plains. Service advisor Benito Martinez is the prime example of someone who should not be in communication with customers. On this beautiful Good Friday morning I took my girlfriend’s 2017 RX350 for maintenance, and to have them check the transmission since it seems to hesitate and hunt for gears at low speeds. To start, Mr. Martínez did not even greet me. Actually, he ignored me when I said good morning. In fact, all the employees looked like they just did not want to be there! My girlfriend and I purchased this vehicle as a Certified Pre-Owned, which meant we would get two years or 20,000 miles of free maintenance. It has not been two years since we got the vehicle, we have driven it for about 13,000 miles, it was serviced twice at another dealership at no cost. So how is it, Mr. Martínez or Ray Catena Lexus of White Plains, that this vehicle is not covered under the Lexus CPO program? I said I would contact my selling dealer regarding this. Then I asked him to have the transmission issue checked and, gosh, he said this was not covered under warranty either! However, according to the Lexus website: The Powertrain Warranty is for 72 months or 70,000 miles, whichever occurs first. Except for the situations listed on the Basic Warranty page, this warranty covers repairs needed to fix defects in materials or workmanship of any component listed below: * Engine: Cylinder block and head and all internal parts, timing belt and cover, flywheel, oil pan, water pump, fuel pump, engine mounts, engine control computer, seals and gaskets. I showed Mr. Martínez this and he went ballistic: “Let me say it to you in Spanish: the car has no warranty. It will be $173.00 for the diagnostic.” Again, how does this man have a job dealing with customers? Why would he speak to me in another language when we were clearly communicating in English? What made him think I understood or spoke Spanish? I was appalled by this man’s behavior. After my visit to this establishment I am now beginning to understand why online car dealer services are doing so well.

Brian Rattner and Ray Catena Lexus of White Plains gave a 5 star purchase experience: Transparency; no hidden fees or bait and switch; no pressure and plenty of personal attention. I shopped on line for a good deal on a pre-owned Lexus and had experienced a few shady moves. That’s not going to happen with Brian and this dealership, where they care about integrity and great customer service. Will also say that dealers are notorious for trying to take advantage of women and people of color — not. Brian, not his sales manager and not Ray Catena of Lexus White Plains. If you have had bad experiences, don’t worry about that at this dealership. Thank you, Bryan!

I renewed my lease and was told I would receive credit

I renewed my lease and was told I would receive credit for payment on my old lease. This was not correct and I paid for an extra month on old lease. Customer service manager will not take my calls. I doubt i will do business with them again. Very disappointed.

I’ve been servicing my vehicle at this dealership since purchase. Though it wasn’t purchased from them. They have been fantastic and efficient. My service gentleman is Allan Hoenig, he’s is knowledgeable, honest, thorough and the most fantastic individual I’ve ever dealt with in any service capacity. I can’t say enough about Allan. He makes the process seamless. Thank you Alan and by extension that awesome dealership!!!
