I purchased a used truck from Chevrolet of Wooster, and within a day, the Check Engine light came on. After running a diagnostic scan, I found clear evidence that the dealership erased an existing error code before selling the truck. Here’s the proof: ✅ Mileage at dealership: 74,277 miles (as documented in the sales contract). ✅ Mileage now: 74,767 miles (only 490 miles driven since purchase). ✅ OBD scan data: Shows the Check Engine code (U062F – Lost Communication with Coolant Pump "C") was cleared exactly 490 miles ago, meaning it was reset right before the sale. ✅ Only 7 engine starts since the code was cleared, proving the truck was barely used after the reset. ✅ The Check Engine light reappeared at 74,510 miles – only 230 miles after the sale, meaning the problem wasn’t fixed, just hidden. When I contacted Chevrolet of Wooster for an explanation, they completely ignored my messages. Instead of addressing the issue, they chose to ghost their customer after knowingly selling a truck with a hidden mechanical defect. This is dishonest and unethical. If you’re considering buying a vehicle here, I strongly recommend getting an independent inspection BEFORE purchase because their "inspection" clearly doesn’t disclose known problems. I am attaching photos at google review and yelp of the odometer, my sales contract, the OBD scan results, and my unanswered messages to the dealership so potential buyers can see the facts for themselves. Avoid Chevrolet of Wooster if you value transparency and honesty.

Warning.
Warning. They will add on a $3000 warranty that isn't worth crap. My $16,000 car cost me $$26,000 by the time they was finished.

Don't buy the 2003 F450 Lariat
They currently have a Ford F450 on their lot that needs front end work and brakes. They screwed up and are losing money on the deal. They know this truck is unsafe and they are still willing to sell it. GM is a real condescending person and the salesman is simply a smart Alec. DO NOT BUY CARS FROM THEM. I stayed because of the service department. Those folks work hard and are great. Wish this was still Spurgeon, current ownership does not care about its customers.

Buyer Beware
First I have to say our salesman was great. He did what was asked of him. I had contacted this dealer about a 2016 Escalade they had for sale. We drove the 4hrs to look at it and ended up buying the vehicle. I did not want to spend the $4000 for a extended warranty thinking surely they had checked it out and they wouldn’t sell anything with any major issues. Boy I was I wrong! When we arrived and the vehicle was already running should have given me my first clue (my guts said leave). The check engine light came on on the way home, vehicle was not getting up to temperature. Explains why it was being warmed up. Thermostat was stuck open. #8 cylinder misfire. Not awful but still, something should have been repaired before being sold. Also had a small vibration, just thought the tires needed balanced. Nope! Bent rim. Now the 2 big kickers! Wife went to the store in my truck, went to get in the new one to move it. Wouldn’t unlock! They gave me the wrong 2nd key and of course they don’t have the right one. Any know how much it cost for a new Cadillac remote with a laser cut key! Now this is what drove me to put up this review. Yesterday it was warm here, turned on the A/C and it didn’t work. Went to charge it today and the main A/C line to the rear evaporator core has a hole in it. How did they not know this. This is over a $1,000 repair. My advice to you is get your vehicle checked out before purchasing from them. Don’t trust their inspection

06 Malibu
They worked with my schedule to get my vehicle into their shop in a timely manner. Work was completed ahead of schedule for the price quoted. Loaner vehicle was provided for my convenience. And that sounds like a robot

The best experience ever!
My experience was fantastic!! My sales man was Tyler J Harvey. He was very knowledgeable of all aspects of our new truck. He also took the time to help me and my wife set up our phones too the truck. Then Tyler even check in with us later to make sure that we didn’t need anything else. We will definitely be back to see him when we are ready for another vehicle.

Once you buy good luck getting ahold of anyone
Good luck getting ahold of them. I bought a car from them which was my 7th but the first issue I have had I have left voice mails, called multiple times, had people leave messages and still can’t get ahold of the guy. I will be taking the car back. Some things are not worth it. Don’t waste your time to people who see you as a number.
