Write a reviewWhat good is a warranty?
Had my 2011 KIA Sorento for 3-1/2 years and had it serviced there for every oil change, tires, etc. Had the 100,000 mile warranty and never had any problems up until August of this year (2014). My original KIA battery which was a sealed battery leaked and caused problems in my shifting. This was found only after 3 trips to KIA. Was told that the battery leaked because it was defective. The battery acid damaged my trans range switch and shift cable. They said they could fix it for $600.00. Said it wasnt covered under my warranty since I had put in a new battery in July and should have noticed the acid and cleaned it at that time. I had been at the dealership in February, May, and August for oil change and vehicle inspections. Inspection sheet was checked good on everything pertaining to the battery. We had no knowedge that the battery had leaked or that it had caused this damage until the check engine light came on. After consulting KIA Customer Service and receiving no assistance from them, my husband bought the KIA parts online and installed them himself. It cost us $120 for the 2 parts and all of 15 minutes to install them. This is $450.00 more than what they quoted, plus the fact remains that they should have been responsible and covered this under my warranty. I will not be making any future purchases with KIA nor will I continue to use them for my maintenance.

Overpriced!
Overpriced! Gave us a quote of $950 to change AC condenser and non-KIA dealership did it for less than half of that! Big difference!!! Would never bother then again.
