Our brand new Kia Sportage Hybrid left us stranded after 1100 miles. We had contacted the service department expressing our concerns with our new vehicle and was told to “keep driving it unless you get a warning light”. Needless to say, we never got any warning light. The vehicle completely stopped working at 5am on our way to work, leaving us stranded with no headlights, taillights, or emergency flashers! We set in the roadway for more than 2 hours waiting on a flatbed to arrive after using Kia Connect for assistance. After getting the vehicle towed to the dealership, customer service was terrible! There was no communication unless we called, phone calls were not returned, and our $2200 paint protection warranty was voided, due to the vehicle being washed with chemicals, against our wishes. When expressing our concerns about the paint warranty, the service manager literally told us “not my problem”! When picking up our vehicle, we were informed that the vehicle’s intercooler tube come off, causing the issues that we had called about weeks before the vehicle left us stranded. When we asked about possible engine damage from driving the vehicle over 700 miles with the issue, the service manager told us “Kia has a great warranty and will replace the engine if so”. I have filed a complaint with Kia Care. It has been almost 2 weeks, the only response we have gotten from Kia Care was an email stating that our case was being escalated, leaving us to believe that customer service at Kia is not a priority. We purchased the Kia believing in the quality, dependability, and customer service that the brand promotes. This experience has deeply shaken that belief!

Crazy Cruise
On May 17th we were traveling and our Kia Sorento cruise quit working. We headed to the nearest Kia dealership to have it analyzed to determine the cause. Your dealership was closest. By the time we arrived the cruise had started working again. Your staff worked us in, knowing we were traveling, and went on a test drive with us to see if the cruise would malfunction again but it did not. They said it must be malfunctioning to be able to find the cause. They apologized. for being unable to help. The young man who drove with us was wonderful, and answered a few questions I had about the steering! When we were ready to leave, the office staff said their was no charge. I was dumfounded. What a pleasure to work with your service department. We were very impressed. Thank you to all of them.

Highly Recommended
I recently bought my first new car ever at Kia, and couldn't be happier. My salesperson, Thor Roberts, was friendly, accommodating, and very upbeat. He made sure he answered any questions I may have had, and did his best to ensure that the car I wanted was the right car for me (it was!). Also great was Brett, from management. Brett actually remembered my husband and me from 10 years ago, when he happened to be our salesperson at the time. He even remembered what make and model of car we bought! That is the kind of customer service that will keep us coming back to this dealership. They are fantastic!

Liked the Kia Souls I had seen on the road and was recommended to ask for Frank by someone who knew him. My daughter and I stopped by and Tim Cornett immediately stepped up to help as Frank was not in yet. He provided us with excellent service and, having done car loans myself, was very efficient and knowledgeable of the process, actually selling us a 2017 Kia Soul which I love. He even went well beyond by helping us with some unrelated paperwork. He was so friendly, got me the best rate and I couldn't have been happier with the sale. He is great! Also, Frank came in and he, too was wonderful.

Kia Forte
Just got a 2017 Kia Forte. I've had it for about a week and a half now, and I love it! It drives so easily and gets great gas mileage. Its a small, but yet amazingly roomy car and is perfect for our family of 4. The trunk is also surprisingly big, which is perfect for groceries and our massive double seated stroller. It also comes with a CD player and bluetooth! Which is a huge step-up from a 96 Pontiac with only a car radio. The staff was super friendly and very helpful, they went out of there way to help and gave me an great price that I can afford. These guys are definitely family oriented and get it. They got to me on personal level and not just a lets-make-some-money level. I wouldn't go anywhere but here for my next car.

Justin at the service counter is very personable, goes over things etc. I've never once felt pressured to have certain things done.I have been to different dealerships before and it would seem like they pressured you to get certain work done right then and there,and would act like I didn't know what I was talking about. . I definitely recommend University Kia for service
