I just had my 2018 Optima in for it's first service. Oscar Lopez the service advisor and his staff were prompt, courteous and professional on this... visit. By all metrics concerning automobiles Kia places near the top in terms of quality and reliability. I would recommend anyone considering purchasing a vehicle to contact Mike "The Don" Castagnino (gen mgr) for an excellent offer that is hard to refuse. Most manufacturers offer military rebates. However the small print has offer only available to those discharged within 12 months or who were or are career military personnel. Kia military rebate applies to all of us who have served with honor be it WW11, Korea, Vietnam, Gulf Wars, Iraq, Afghanistan etc. For those of us who gave 2,4,6 years service to our country Kia recognizes that. All you need is your DD214 showing honorable service. A great additional offer on an excellent car. Don't hesitate to see Mike and his first class staff.
Working with this dealership was worse than going to the dentist-salesman was rude and wasted our time. Save yourself a lot of aggravation and go somewhere... else.
My experience with Erica ( internet ) & Dan ( salesperson ) was excellent. Erica listened to what I wanted and continued to follow up with question I had... and then gave me an excellent price. Dan my sales person along with Erica tracked down the sorento I wanted since it was not in stock. Dan kept me updated on the process and kept his word on when he would have the car ready for delivery. Erica & Dan make a great team which makes me highly recommend doing business with this dealership. The only improvement to this dealership would be to add another finance person to cut the wait time to see him. It takes some away form the great experience with the sales staff.
Fantastic service! Pearl listened to what I was looking for in a vehicle and was able to help me select a model that matched my needs. She also took the... time to answer all my questions and was personable and pleasant. Based on Pearls customer service, I would recommend this dealer.

When we got the car, it was covered in dirt and dust. The car was not washed when we drove off the lot. I returned the next day to learn all about the... car and to have it washed. When it was given back (after waiting an hour), it was still filthy. There was still plastic in the car that should have been removed. When I washed the car myself, we saw that there were scratches from shipping that needed to be repaired (that should have been done before the car was given to us). Nothing was offered to make up for the inconvenience even after calling several times. Once the purchase was complete with extended warranties, it felt as if customer service was no longer a priority.
Top notch experience. I worked w/ Dan and Erica over the internet and was very demanding and admittedly sometimes hard to deal with. Not only did they... locate my car, they sent a porter to Wisconsin to get it and got me the best price in the area by over $2,000. This was not some left over `16/`17 they had on the lot, this was a car/color combo that was as rare as hens teeth it seemed. I did deal w/ over 15 dealers and they were by far the best in professionalism and price. They made the process as seamless as a new car purchase can be. We did all we could do to expedite the process and we were rewarded with Dan greeting us before we even set foot in the door, the car prepped and plated and just an all around perfect experience. I've purchased my fair share of cars and this was by far the smoothest! Despite over an hour drive to get here these will be my go to guys for the immediate future! Thanks again Dan/Erica.
I SHOULD HAVE GONE HERE FIRST! I wasted so much time talking with other dealers online and in person and got no where near the deal that I got at International... Kia! I had been searching online and at multiple Kia Dealers for the perfect Sedona Mini-Van. My first encounter with International Kia was via email with Erica Rusinak. She was professional and up front and honest with my questions. I was soooo nervous to commit to driving to another dealer because I just felt that every time I was given information and guarantees they were thrown out the window as soon as I set foot in the dealership. NOT HERE! Everything Erica talked with me about in our emails was communicated with the general manager, Mike Castagnino. He knew who I was when I got there (did I mention I was greeted my my super sweet salesperson Pearl (MAXX) with an umbrella at my car door because it was raining!? Mike brought my two girls water and fruit snacks as soon as we got there. They quickly worked as a team to get me the bottom line numbers on getting me in a new 2017 Sedona. Within the hour I had an amazing deal I was so happy with and was given TOP dollar on my trade in. My monthly payments were going to be over $50 dollars less on the same exact car with LESS money down than the dealer I was at right before INTERNATIONAL KIA! Maxx (my salesperson) was honest, helpful, and genuine! < ---- It is possible! I was in and out of finance in less than 10 minutes and Erica, the online representative that helped me in the beginning, even came in to sit down and put Paw Patrol on her personal phone and sat down for my kids to watch so they would be entertained! Great customer service, I really recommend making a stop in to this dealership if you are interested in getting a new car. I will be back!
Finding the car I wanted (features, color, then at a price I wanted) was an ordeal...I searched all over within a 500+ mile radius. But when I stumbled... upon Maxx (Pearl Ashby-Maxberry) at International Kia, I received royal treatment...she truly went above and beyond to work with me...from picking me up at the airport, to numerous other little kindnesses definitely not part of a car buying experience. I was quite a bit apprehensive, having never driven this particular car, and especially since just coming off an experience with a dealership in Little Rock where they seriously misrepresented their vehicle and attempted to cheat me. Maxx went out of her way to reassure me, sending me photos, answering my questions (some over and over!), then when I got to Chicago she made sure the car was spotless and ready to go. I was a little aggravated about having to go through a third party for the out of state taxes and licensing which cost an additional $250...since I'd already called my local County Clerk, gotten the costs from them, and could easily pay the taxes and pick up the license plate myself...I come from a small town, the County Clerk is in an equally small town, and $250 for a service I didn't need seemed excessive (and could have paid for my plane fare). Other than that I was happy. Did I enjoy going 500 miles from home to get the car I wanted? H--- NO! But, it didn't seem like I was going to get THAT car any other way, and they had it, and Maxx (Pearl) worked with me. Thank you Maxx!
