I went into Kia motors looking specifically for a manual transmission Kia Soul. Like everyone else who enters a dealership, I was not looking to buy, and... never thought I’d find myself driving a Kia. I had not driven an automatic transmission in 7 years. Jeremy Watson at the Orland Kia was beyond phenomenal. He greeted my family and I right away, and was very attentive to what I wanted. He brought me an automatic Kia Soul LX with a sports function shifter that I instantly fell in love with. Not only was Jeremy patient and kind throughout the entire test drive process, but he was also very conversational, and did not allow for awkward silences, which is important for a first-time buyer. In addition to adhering to whatever whim I had, Jeremy went above and beyond to find me a 2021 Kia Soul LX, in gravity grey, as well as hunt the lot for a manual transmission just for me to test out. For the buying process, Jeremy was beyond patient while I texted my immunocompromised mom about the deals and offers in buying the car, and bent-over backwards making sure I got the best deal, and even called Allstate to get me insured on my own vehicle so that the buying process could be completed. I would recommend this dealership, and especially Jeremy, to whomever is looking to buy a new car. I am extremely happy with this service.
We went for a telluride, even got everything in place to order one, and our salesperson, who was great to deal with called us and told us one became available... to purchase. Since these are a hot commodity we were there the very next morning ( our salesperson came in early just for this) all set to purchase. We looked the. At over the night before on the dealers website and the price was one price. While test driving my wife asks about the hand written sticker in the window for 6 grand more then the internet. We get back and that is when we meet the gm who said this is the price, you are lucky it’s this price some people would paydouble. The only answer he gave for the increase was it’s the rim package. Now mind you we already were in the process of ordering a vehicle from this dealer, so we decided not to buy the one and the gm said you can order one but we won’t know the price till it comes in. It’s obvious he didn’t remember us, and telling us after we built it that at most the price could go up 750. So we cancelled our order and will be finding a new dealer. This General manager has no clue about his customers
We worked with Kia Napleton of Elmhurst first because it was closer and the contrast could not have been greater. International Kia at Orland did not give... us the runaround with the price of the car. Rather, they gave us straight pricing and the whole process was completed quickly and online, at our pace. This is the reason we bought from them and not Napleton. Furthermore, they did not try to push us to add extras after the fact, and they even had the car delivered to us. This dealer pretty much provided the experience everyone should have when buying a car. We worked with Kristyn and Kevin and they were great.
Excellent salesman Kevin fortman and great sales manager mike would highly recommend working with this dealership. They were very personable and accommodating... never pushy-a big thumbs up
International Kia has superb customer service and that is why I am a repeat customer. The general manager and staff are always courteous and make sure... all my needs are met. Excellent dealership with quality products.
Great experience! If you need a vehicle don’t go anywhere else. The shopping experience is exactly how it should be. You will not be disappointed.
The buying process was bad enough with rude management and wasting time waiting for financing because the guy wasn't even there, as well as being ripped... off on the final paperwork. To make things all the worse, when I reviewed them honestly, the sales manager kept calling to harass me. When I told him I want nothing to do with him and to stop calling, he said "Say it to my face."
Think twice before get a Kia. “Did you have a gun pointed to your head when you signed the lease ?” This is what the General Manager told me after... some argument about the whole process with this dealer and how dishonest was the process. I agreed with sales people about buying a car advertised by a price. All good until go to finance and they say I can’t give you that deal unless you do a lease which was never the agreement. I did sign the lease with certain “assumptions” that they said yes so I would buy the car after 3 months lease and later find out that it was not like that at all. Trying to resolve the situation somehow he tells me something like that above and “ I am not just gonna sit here hearing you complaining”. Guess no matter how reason you are, a place that treats you like that doesn’t deserve to get your business. As soon they make the deal they don’t give you proper customer service including Kia Usa that I tried to address and they say they can’t do anything because they are not the owners of the dealer. Never had a Kia before and will be last time after this horrible experience
Mike D the used car manager is awesome. The dealership was clean and the sales staff was very friendly. It was a pleasure purchasing a vehicle at this... dealership.
I’m happy with my vehicle but not happy about a couple things: - I was told by Matt (I believe that’s the finance guys name) the basic Bumper to Bumper... warranty was only 12mos / 12,000 miles. Which I now realize after researching that’s not actually true. - I was sold a feature (Synchronize) that was unnecessary. If the features of the Cadenza had been fully explained to me, I would’ve known that the Warranty and EVO covers pretty much the same thing as Synchronize. Additionally, the Synchronize feature I paid for (unnecessarily) calls for a username and password that was supposed to be given to me by Matt and customarily, I would've been shown how to activate the app on my phone before I left the dealership. And I was told by Matt my insurance company offers a discount for Synchronize, which is completely false. - on the point above about the features, other than “the technology package” being referenced the explanation of the features and how they work was lacking. - also the car was washed BUT wasn’t detailed. The inside windows weren’t cleaned, there was still plastic protectors on the seatbelts, on the control knobs of the console and on the actual touch screen itself. Had it not been dark out when I left the dealership 3 hours after arriving I would’ve noticed these and wouldn’t have left without those items being corrected. All that being said I bought it all; hook, line and sinker and signed on the dotted line. I love Kias and this is our 3rd new car purchase, however, I will take my business elsewhere for our upcoming purchase in 2020.
