Do not buy anything from this place

If you want to be screwed over financially by a small, untrustworthy car dealership, this is the place for you! I’m not someone to write reviews often about businesses but here is why. I bought a 2014 Subaru crosstrek from these guys 2 months ago for $13650 with 112,000 miles on it here at Widerange LLC, not a bad deal at the time. Didn’t see any rust or too many blemishes & it drove just fine. I ended up buying it and within a week, the low oil light pops up. I didn’t think much about it, so I took it in for an oil change and check up. Low oil but I just filled it & didn’t feel anything until a week later. The low oil light goes on again, so I take it to the dealership this time. They flush the oil & refill it along with repairing a PCV valve. $750 cost but I didn’t think that was too bad. Then a week later, same issue. Low oil light. I bring it back to them, and it ended up being an issue with the short block, which at the dealership costs $6200 to fix or $5000 from a auto repair shop. This is within 2 months of having this xxxx car, and all they offered after I called for a remedy was to “take it to another place for a better rate”. These people did not check this car out appropriately beforehand & happily sold it to make a buck. If you’re the owner reading this, I’m extremely embarrassed to have done work with your company and will never trust you with my business again.

Looking out for other buyers safety.

I urge people to please stay away from this crooked car dealer. States he gets best in town to resell but each one needs to be repaired after purchase. Rude, uneducated, and love to scam people. Lied about major oil leak and only cleaned the oil up. Never fixed the problem. Electrical problem was promised to be repaired. Never happened. Please stay away and BEWARE. I have reported them to better business bureau.

I have to be "pre-approved" before test-driving

I called to arrange a test-drive and was advised I would have to be "pre-approved" for financing before hand. I guess I would say that it was kind of off-putting. And it's ironic as I probably would have written a check for the car . . . At any rate, that isn't the car-buying experience I'm hoping for.

2 at Once

This was our first stop in the search for not 1 but 2 cars. The process of checking them out, test driving, and asking questions was pressure-free and enjoyable. (that doesn't happen used car shopping!) We had a special need that Leah worked with and we did end up buying both cars that we wanted from Widerange. If we need more used cars in the future, this will absolutely be our first stop.

Stay away ! beware

Most rude unprofessional condescending sales people I ve ever encountered..Went to look at a 2009 Dodge Charger price at $7000..Nice looking car on outside..Only 93000 miles..I was excited until I asked for the keys and popped hood..Engine had white corrosion spots...Oil dipstick missing and the tube was sealed up with epoxy? Started engine..Did not run right..Very rough with surging rpm and I told the very rude blonde lady something wasn't right with engine and she told me in most sarcastic tone it just came from the shop and I dont know what I m talking about and I told her politeIy I have about 40 years experience with cars and I know when something isnt right and she said in an even ruder and condescending tone that I guess you dont need to be test driving it then and I said you are right about that and left immediately..Buyer beware. Stay away

Great experience at Widerange

Leah at Widerange was so great to work with during the purchase of my 2012 Escalade. She even gave us a great local lunch recommendation!

Good experience

They were very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Even put the car on a lift for me so I could thoroughly check it out. Also very efficient with paperwork etc... I've bought 4 vehicles in the past 3 years, and this was the quickest and simplest transaction.
