I'll keep this as direct as I can.

I'll keep this as direct as I can. I've had my vehicle about 7 months. I'm in a bankruptcy. Leman came recommended from my lawyer so I came in with a pretty big amount of trust already. Rob seemed great. Told me he has tons of experience. Got me the payment amount close to what I wanted. He says "The ONLY thing wrong with this vehicle is a motor mount. It'll vibrate but it could last years with no problems." So I trusted him and purchased. He ended up driving it, said it was very annoying so if I fixed it within 3 months he would go halves on the cost of the motor mount. So I'm having pretty hard faith in these guys so far. All the while im having coolant leaks. I take my vehicle in, they can't find an issue. Motor mount is fixed. Take my vehicle in again, they fail to check the check engine light like they said they would and like I requested, again can't find the issue. Starting to lose faith. They are starting to sound like they care less. I start calling more because Im buying crazy amount of coolant to fill my vehicle that's a few months old to me and "only had a motor mount issue" that's been since fixed.... And they can't find a coolant issue twice. So I say eff it and go to auto zone. The check engine light is for a "turbo boost failure." I call and send them photos and tell them this needs fixed ASAP. They ignore my calls. I call more. Tim, mechanic side manager, is annoyed with me and sounded annoyed while telling me "well you need to bring it in..." (As if it hasn't already been in multiple times) I bring it in again, already knowing and telling them the issue, the turbo boost. Which, upon a quick Google search, is most probably also why the coolant is having an issue, but I'm not a mechanic. Anywho. I take my vehicle in they give me no end date to when it's getting fixed. I call week after week to ask for updates and they are continuously annoyed I'm calling. I also remind them that I have an issue with my door panel. Tim claimed he ordered the pins for the door when I dropped the car off. A MONTH later, after they say the ordered and installed a turbo boost and it was "busted from the manufacturer and have to order new" (overnighted but somehow still took 5 days to arrive, strange) they say it's finally done... Oh btw they didn't fix the door and he was absolutely pissed I requested it to be done. "we just fixed your car for free!!!" He says. The turbo boost was covered under warranty. I told him I don't mind paying for the door panel. 212$ they charged to put the door back on. OH ALSO, he made a solid point to tell me that now my warranty has run out and any other fixing that needs done will be paid in full. Now, any person with common sense would think, hmm it sounds like they just kept my car purely to run the warranty out... I wonder if there's other issues they aren't telling me about that they don't want to pay for.... Did they sell me a car they know is bad????? ITS BEEN NOT EVEN ONE MORE MONTH and my transmission has gone out. Oh and when I called and left a message that the door panel came off, again, the next day, after they charged me 212$ for it, guess who didn't get a return phone call, you guessed it, me. I wouldn't recommend Leman in Eureka. Rob was nice, good salesman. But either they do not check their vehicles prior to selling them OR they check them and do not care that the vehicles are faulty because lemon laws don't apply to used cars. Btw I'm a single mom with a 3 year old in daycare. I NEED a vehicle. They are aware. I work remote. The main focus of my vehicle is daycare, groceries, and normal routine family activities. Thanks Leman (sarcasm)

Great Dealer

Jack and Rob were easy to work with. Found me better financing and we’re nice enough to swap my old wheels and tires onto the truck I purchased for a smoother ride. Very helpful with any issues that have arisen so far. Will be back again. No pressure buying. Worth the 3 hour drive.

Go somewhere else. It’s in your best interest

At first my experience was good. I was told my car was under warranty by leman for 30 days if anything went wrong. Well I took it in within 2 weeks as it was jerking and hesitating getting up hills. I was told they couldn’t find an issues since the car didn’t throw a code. But of course the “smooth” talk kicked in and I was told I had a 6 month warranty so if it got worse to bring it back. The problem didn’t necessarily get worse but it was clear to me the oil was leaking and it smelled of burnt oil constantly. I took it back and told them something needs figured out and that not all problems are going to throw codes. The mechanic called me and said he still couldn’t find a problem. I told him that it clearly has an issue and it needs to be figured out. I was then quoted over 600 in repairs with parts on the estimate that they weren’t even sure were bad. I was told it was standard to replace them with a bad valve cover( the valve cover is bad) of course their “ wonderful” warranty company don’t cover any of it. I researched the warranty company (Wynns) and they have horrible reviews stating they deny covering repairs all the time and they have several law suits. I’ve only had the car for a little over 4 months and on top of the main issue my key fab will only occasionally lock my car correctly the first time I press lock. If it doesn’t beep my lights stay on. I usually have to unlock it and open the door 3 times before it beeps and locks properly. This issue doesn’t throw a code so of course it couldn’t be figured out. Yesterday I rolled down my drivers side window and it won’t go back up. Basically they are selling piles of crap but smooth talk their customers so they think they are getting a decent car with a good warranty. The mechanic/mechanics rely on a little machine to tell them what is wrong rather than have any skill set in mechanics. Not to mention, when you take it in later as suggested because they couldn’t find an issue they turn it around on you saying “well you’ve been driving it for 4 months with an issue so probably made it worse”. I’m just throwing this out there so people know what they may get themselves into. I’m done with leman and will never go back nor refer anyone. I am also going to write reviews anywhere I can in hopes to save someone else the headache and inconvenience these people cause. They say they treat their customers like family. All I can say is thank god I’m not in their actual family because I feel I was treated poorly and unfairly. They are “smooth” talking dirty people looking to make a buck at someone else’s expense. I gave them the opportunity to make it right and they didn’t so here goes with horrible reviews and seeking any legal rights.

Feel very lucky

My truck broke down in another town. Leman's had it towed for a very reasonable rate. Mr. Leman had a long talk with me about my options, and I feel like I got a lot of help making the right choices on how to proceed. It is nice to know your car guys care about your safety and satisfaction.
