Daylin as my sales representative. She is the consummate professional: knowledgable, attentive, and prompt with help. Moreover she is highly personable,... down to earth, and polite. This is a second career for her and she is new at doing it, but you would never know it. Her people skills are un matched by anyone in the industry we have ever met and interacted with. She is a keen problem solver as well which came into play after some problems took place with the sale and some service needs as well. I was also impressed with managerial support as well. I just bought my 2019 Subaru Forester and couldn't lock the doors with the automatic fob. My husband called the dealership and gave them my cell phone... number. Marvin called me immediately and walked me through what might be wrong. It seems that the tailgate was not completely closed. He walked me through the process and the problem was solved. Thank you Marvi, Jocelyn and Donna! This is why I love Subaru and why I will always drive a Subaru.

Bought a Subaru Crosstrek and sales person, Donna Nocerino, and the manager, Greg Kemp, were fantastic. From the moment we entered the dealership, we... were made to feel like family. Donna is friendly, professional, patient and honest. With every visit, she took her time, answered all of our questions and let us know we could get in touch with her anytime. When we picked up the vehicle, she walked us through every detail so that we had a good understanding of how everything worked.. During our first visit, we were also introduced to Greg Kemp, who then invited us to a New Owners's Event, which we attended and which was instrumental in helping us make the decision to buy. We very highly recommend Island Subaru.
I bought a Subaru sport, got a great price. I had Sal who was a great car salesman, he explained the car inside and out in detail. He was very friendly... too.
went in knowing exactly what car I wanted. I talked to Clay , a salesman, for all of 2 hours and all the paperwork was signed. After the sale was set,... he was honest with me in telling me that it would take up to 3 hours to wait for the one and only Finance Manager they had on that day. The financial worker was fantastic, professional . He takes his time and goes over every single detail, exactly how it should be when buying a car. Island Subaru also had no other way to take my entire down payment other than making me drive 2 hours back there the next day because my bank was closed (it was 4th of July). Clay felt bad for all that and I asked if it was possible to throw in some All Weather floormats for my 2019 WRX Limited . He said he'll put them in the car before I leave. That never happened, he said it'll be there tomorrow when I come back to give the rest of my down payment. I figured that would be some incentive to make sure I came back. The next day, he said he'd have the mats the following wednesday . He's ignored my messages ever since . I don?t know why I didn?t just send them a check and have some sense knowing that Clay wouldn?t come through with the floormats. My Fiance just bought a 2019 Crosstrek from World Subaru in Tinton Falls, NJ and she was showed EVERY SINGLE FEATURE her car has to offer. I wasn't shown anything about my car, wasn't even offered to be shown anything , I was their second to last customer that day buying a car and we both ended up there past closing so I just felt pushed out . The floormats is now a non issue , I ended up buying weathertechs, but it was just a let down because Clay seemed like such an awesome guy up until his empty offers which just seemed like a lie to keep a customer smiling out the door . Either way , I love the car. I suggest the WRX to anyone looking for one Island Subaru reached out via my review on Google and told me to call ?them? at their locations phone number. It ended up being the common phone number that goes to Island Subaru Location . The Manager or Supervisor was busy so they had me speak with the car salesman that I had the problem with . How?s this going to fix anything ? Who has an upset customer talk to the salesman that they have the problem with ? Anyway , to add fuel to the fire , my passenger rear tire had 900 miles on it and the entire inner wall blew out . My personal mechanic sees signs that it?s a retreaded and defective tire. Island Subaru said they couldn?t get me in for a quick tire change for over 2 weeks. Thank god World Subaru in Tinton Falls has some sympathy and care for their customers and squeezed me in the day the tire blew out even though they had a full schedule also . Seriously , nearly every person I?ve dealt with at Island Subaru was a disappointment ; besides the girl , Elizabeth, who answered all my phone calls , she was very helpful and sweet . I also need to exclude the man who was the Financial Manager , he was a great person to meet and work with , very professional and detailed . How does a rear tire blow out under 900 miles on a brand new car ? The rim wasn?t touched , front tire is in perfect condition , all signs point to a defective tire . Stay away from Island Subaru , drive the extra distance and go to World Subaru in Tinton Falls , NJ .
