    My experience at iDrive Utah was the better end of the spectrum when it came to my experiences with the used car market. The buying process is a 50:50... split between buyer and seller. My salesman Angelo was nothing short of being a great salesman. I had to be sure the truck i bought was worth the drive from Portland, Oregon to iDrive sight unseen. He was quick to respond, answered all of my questions, got me all the pictures and accomodated my request for items on the truck. When he did not have the answer for me he got me the answer i needed quickly. I had to expedite my process and rush them to get the truck ready, showing up a day earlier than planned which was the next day after beginning the paperwork process. Angelo was able to get the items I requested done in what was looking like an impossible timeline. Once I arrived i did my test drive, and looked over the truck at some areas not pictured. We noted some blemished areas and areas of work. This is where most peoples experiences takes a turn. the 50:50 part comes into play when the buyer (me) is unreasonable, uneducated, doesnt know what they are getting into, and thinks they are buying a new vehicle when they in fact are looking for the deal of a century on a used car. I knew exactly what I wanted, what it would take through the first 6 months of ownership to make the truck 100%. I knew the value of my trade in and the cost it would take to make it 100% as well. With that being said I told them a number that i saw would benefit them and myself that would mean no hassel no bartering. At the end of the day there is only so much the buyer and seller can control, they have to make money and you need a fair price. My advice to a future buyer is do your research, know the problems associated with the specific vehicle you want to buy, research cost of oem replacement (FYI-you do not ask for price adjustment based on aftermarket parts to upgrade the vehicle, only parts to make it 100% OEM), and look at the vehicle history, does it have service records? how many owners has it gone through? What is the mileage per year look like? Was it evenly spread across its life? These are the questions thay you need to ask and look at when buying a USED vehicle. These questions make your buying experience the best it can be. The more educated you are the better deal you will get and the less the Dealer will fight you. My take away: This is a newer dealer/location, the trucks and vehicles on the lot are visually at a glance clean and nice. Most had newer wheels and tires, not wrecked with tons of body damage (again these are USED TRUCKS and they get used, dented tailgates and scrateches are impossible to avoid), salesman are presentable, work together, friendly and accomodating. When I brought up the few issues with the truck they were willing to meet my numbers (because they were reasonable) and I was able to leave with the truck I wanted with the budget I needed.

    Bought a Beautiful truck, had a great experience. My sales guy Michael is great, the finance guy gave me tips to boost my credit score. Any used vehicle... is going to have issues, so be sure to do your Due Diligence before you buy one, including inherent manufacture issues. My experience is, this place is pretty awesome.

    Check the fees and the vehicle your buying. Every truck I drove had something wrong with it. Went somewhere with no bogus fees and had WAY less miles for... the same price and something that didnt need to be fixed!

    Purchased a truck & extended warranty. Twenty four hours later, check engine light came on. Turns out 3 catylitic converters were bad. The repair costs... me 796.32. Tried repeatedly to get the dealership to honor the extended warranty cover labor. Went to said dealership, no response. Texted & called. No response. We gave them numerous times to correct this situation. No response. I will discourage anyone from buying a vehicle from this dealership. Kathie H.

    I bought a truck, we have had it for under 2 months. It dies in the canyon pay for a tow truck. I am told that the transmission went out. Take it to another... company 2nd opinion and find it is just a sensor. It has cost me 400 plus towing and now the company I took it too found some small details that I would think a good company would change or fix before selling a vehicle. USED or BRAND NEW. A simple air filter? Nope mine was beyond FILTHY! Driver and Passenger tire rods not good. I even paid for new tires and rims through IDRIVE? How do they not check these things? Oil, they had no clue the last time it was changed. Transmission fluid. In contract I asked for this to be checked and guess what It is not good either. It wasn't even checked. Exhaust leak the people they took it took put a liner over the tip of the exhaust to muffle the leak well a month later that is off. I have called 12 times and have asked for a manger, OWNER and no one will return my call. NOTHING! They won’t make this right. And guess what I dont even have my paper work that i signed. I have contacted an attorney. Please save yourself the stress and worry and take your business elsewhere.

    Bought a truck from them and almost 2 weeks later they call me to tell me there is no deal because they didn’t get the correct payoff for my trade... in. The salesman helping us didn’t know what he was doing. The process took 3 days. Terrible customer service. Fees are outrageous! Never seen anything like it!! I will never buy or recommend IDrive to anyone!

    DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. They sold us a faulty truck at a high price it died on my husband the DAY we bought it. We brought it back in 5 different times after... that each time they claimed they worked on it when they actually just turned off the check engine lights and we found this out only because we took it to a Midas down the road. They lie through their teeth and we had to fight for them to do what a dealership should do well before selling a vehicle.
