We purchased a 2013 Lincoln MKT Ecoboost in July of 2024.

We purchased a 2013 Lincoln MKT Ecoboost in July of 2024. We drove three hours from our home to Royal Family Motors because we thought we could trust them. We had purchased a car from them a few years prior and was impressed with the service then, so decided to go back. What a terrible time this has been!! They disclosed that the Catalytic converter had recently been replace, so it was in top shape. Upon checking the vehicle we noticed a seat was broken, and we had them "patch" it while we were there because we didn't have the time for them to order a whole new seat (costing over $1500). We started our drive home, and the check engine light turned on. Tried to call, and they closed for the day. Called the next day and they said we could either drive back or we could go through the warranty and go to an approved dealership in our area to have it checked/repaired. So, we called the warranty company because my husband could no longer get time off. They informed us they didn't have the paperwork yet so we had to wait a full month before they finally got the information necessary to take it to a local dealership. By this time it's already halfway through August and we needed an inspection! Got that done, and scheduled the appointment for the service, but could not get an appointment until mid NOVEMBER because they were backed up and it was the only dealership in our area that worked on Lincoln cars. Team Ford near us found that the system was pulling oil out of the crank case/valve cover and needed to replace the right rear valve cover. If that didn't clear the codes, then the catalytic converter would need replaced. The extended warranty we purchased did NOT cover all the items that needed replaced, specifically the oil separator so when we called Royal Family motors back to discuss having it replaced as well as the tired because the wrong set of tires were on the car (car needed 255/45R20 and we were sold with tires that read 235/60R18) Royal Family Motors refused to help even if we drove down to them and said the catalytic converter issue was OUR FAULT for putting the wrong gas in it (Jason @ royal said we should have used premium) despite the manual for the car saying it needed unleaded. As for the issue with the tires, we were also told that having the wrong ones despite the car itself saying it needed a certain type was also not an issue. This has overall been an extremely extremely frustrating experience!! I did use the F word when discussing things with Jason in the service department, so that is in Me, but for only having this car for six months and having these types of issues is difficult to handle!!

Deliberately sold us a BMW X5 with a fake warranty.

Deliberately sold us a BMW X5 with a fake warranty. Made us put $5,000 down on this vehicle. That was leaking oil and we tried to bring it into the shop. They continued to ignore our request until we finally ran the little warranty away from driving 2 weeks. And constantly buying oil and going to other mechanics for help. So this vehicle stayed in our garage for about 2 years. Then the finally put it back in the shop. Feeling like I'm making payments, I might as well try to fix it. That costs me $3,000. Then 2 months later $2,500. Now leaking antifreeze, head gaskets need replaced. How could anyone see someone coming in the door and looking for a decent running vehicle. Sell them this horror show. And go to sleep at night. I'm warning anyone with sense to stay away from people like this. I didn't get the picture when this guy was getting ready to drive the truck he just got there into the glass door.

Don't ever buy from this dealership we had our car 1

Don't ever buy from this dealership we had our car 1 week, horrible sounds coming from it when driving , we took it In they told us it was due to something that needed to be replaced in the transmission, we finally get a hold of them 2 weeks of them having the car , they tell us now it is a flex pipe, they say now it's not covered by our warranty, which the sales person said it covered everything, We believe the problem is when they got into the transmission It was going to cost too much to repair for them, So they figured out another problem. I spent 5000 in addition to having repairs done to this vehicle in the short time I had it. I did some research on the VIN number and found out that this car had been in two (2) major accidents and they never disclosed that during the purchase. I took the car to an actual Hyundai dealership to find that information out, as well as the fact that the Catalytic converter was bad and the engine had also thrown a rod which made it undriveable. I would never send anyone to this dealership

What a joke this place is they buy auction cars and then

What a joke this place is they buy auction cars and then don’t fix them and make them stay for the road refuse to fix anything under their warranty and even refused to fix things. They said they would fix on purchase they don’t return calls they run scared when you show up in person. They had my car for three times now, each a week or more, and actually made things worse rather than fix anything What a joke this place is I hope they go out of business

Just wasted my entire day because of this place.

Just wasted my entire day because of this place. I drove over an hour to get here after talking to Jonah about two Jeep Wranglers I was interested in. I called ahead to confirm their availability, he assured me they were there. He also assured me it wouldn't be a problem for me to get there 15 minutes before closing, that customers were usually there up to an hour past, and we could for sure make a deal today. Long story short, he took all my finance information before I was even able to look at the vehicles, then disappeared for 10 minutes. He came back out, made me wait some more while he talked to another customer, then said he was sorry but the jeeps were both moved to their "sister lot" 10 minutes down the road. They were closed now, but the jeeps are right up front and I could go look at them, and he would save my paperwork. I drove down there, took 10 minutes, there were NO JEEP WRANGLERS on the lot, let alone the specific two I was looking for. I called back but was told "Oh we closed half an hour ago, Jonah's already gone." I drove back there and went in to see if maybe he was mistaken, that the Jeeps were still there, but was told that they were definitely at the lot that I just left. I tried it explaining how Jonah wasted my time and they actually seemed to find it rather funny. Now another hour drive back home with no Jeep. Don't waste your time with these people.

Thank God for Great People

The nicest people I have ever dealt with! Thank goodness there are places that treat you like a person not a credit score. My child has disabilities and my credit score is bad because I have had to make a choice of paying bills or getting my child to the hospital for the care that they needed. I needed a vehicle, that is reliable and trustworthy to get my kids around. And the salesman went above and beyond for me! Now I am driving a great car with terms that I can afford
