May 11, 2020 My name is Alexi Colon I want to tell you about my negative experience with Prestige Auto Cars in Waterbury, Ct. I bought two cars. A mustang... 2017 and a Chrysler Town Country 2014. I was attended by a seller named Dave who seemed spectacular to us the way in which he took care of us and felt his honesty. Instead, the dealer's manager, named Mike Finan, was totally superficial and unsteady in his words from day one. Mike was excited to have gotten the approval of the two cars that my son and I had requested. But The first mistake Mike made was not to submit to the bank that I had asked for, of which I already had a pre-approval. He submitted both cars the way he wanted and with very high interests. Furthermore, due to my ignorance, I realize much later that he uses an unfair tactic and something that I think is illegal, to get both approvals. It wasn't honest, and he didn’t give me a chance to decide if I wanted to do it that way. And above all, he gave me a vehicle with various defects that he did not want to fix. The water pump, the air conditioner, a motor mount end, and after two weeks there’s a cracking coming out of the front end. Mike offered me two months warranty, and after one month his mechanic tells me that Mike said he had not given me anything. I think it was irresponsible to sell a car without doing a full verification. During all the process, I was extremely patient, giving the opportunity for us to have a happy ending, but in the end, I was completely disappointed. Through my whole life I have bought 7 used cars in different dealers and it is the first time that I have so many problems. I hope that many people can see this message so that they think it well before buying a car in this place. Or at least they know everything you have to verify.
I had taken my Mom to several other places trying to get her out of the horrible loan she was stuck in so that she could get into a 4WD for the winter.... Several claimed to be miracle workers and couldn't deliver. We always walked away with nothing more than a wasted day and more miles on the car. I was lucky enough to meet Rob, the GSM just in time to get my Mom something for the winter. She is so upside down in her existing loan that they couldn't take her car on trade yet still managed to get her in an all wheel drive for the winter. Now we still have options to get rid of her old car and a great car to get her through the winter! All of the cars we had to choose from were available well below retail cost, the staff was courteous and personable. It was nice to be treated as a person and not a number! Plus, once the deal closed I got $150 just for bringing them a customer! Go see what they can do for you and yours! I'm happy!!
Just run from this dealership !!! They ripped me off so bad as first time buyer,was saying that the car has no accidents,no damage,they gave me autocheck... report insted carfax i asked,there the car was clean. But later i decided to buy carfax report for myself and i found that the car has structual damage !!! And now they saying it is my problem,they didnt know that, you cant trust carfax and etc.... they dont want to work with me. They talk nice all the time but all the time is lie !!! Dont go here ! For my it was very expensive lesson....
I purchased a vehicle from Prestige Auto in New Britain and it was the easiest process EVER! Marquise the sales man was wicked helpful and helped me find... the perfect car for me within my budget. I am paying less per month now with full warranty and GAP coverage than I was before. They made trading in my vehicle a piece of cake. Def 10/10!!!
I bought a car from them and that process wasn’t too bad , but dealing with them after the purchase to take care of other issues was a absolute nightmare.... Honestly I wish I had read the reviews before dealing with Prestege Auto. I was lied to multiple times and treated very disrespectfully . I’ve called multiple times over a week span and was given several different excuses as to why I could not speak to a manager. Finally when I was fed up and had enough and demanded to speak to him, I was laughed at by an employee named Philippe. Who just so happens to be the same person who lied to me multiple times. They will say anything to get your money and once they have it, they could care less about helping you. Also, I live over a hour away from this dealership, I needed to schedule a appt with maintenance, they told me I would be with out a car for an entire day, so I inquired about a loaner or rental vehicle, I was again laughed at and told they do NOT offer such a thing. Yet if you read the owners response on the very first review , he clearly states they offer rentals at no extra cost. So , who is lying?! I will never buy a car from them again nor will I recommend this dealership to anyone.
Prestige Auto cars is a wonderful dealership. I had such an amazing experience at this facility. I couldn't have asked for a better sales team, and finance... experience. I love my car, it's the car of my dreams, and I would highly recommend Prestige Auto cars in New Britain Connecticut or Vernon Connecticut.
They sold a young lady a car, and she didn't get her plates until 6 minths later. They opened an insurance account without her permission then when she... changed insurance companies, the first was put in collections and they refuse to take care of it. The so-called owner is "never" in....always in D.R.or somewhere on vacation. After they get their money there's no helping their customers. This one guy Jason was very rude over the phone but generally none of the people who answers the phone possess good pr skills. Not nice at all. Don't touch this place with a 10 foot pole

I had the pleasure of working with Kels, they both were very helpful and awesome customer service. Kels was not a typical aggressive salesperson, he knew... his job but also took time to understand my concerns and questions. Michael, was very apologetic and respectful as my purchased vehicle was delayed at towns fair tires. I had a very only one issue when I spoke with Jason on the phone about a misunderstanding regarding paperwork, he seemed impatient. However, when I met him in-person our interactions and transactions were smooth as butter. Important point - they have great selection of cars.
