Purchase a 2013 Porsche Cayenne on April 8th, 2023. Located the vehicle online at autolist.com. Luckily all the vehicle history and Carfax was accessible on the site. The vehicle was on the lot for about 127 days so since November. The price was drop several times on the vehicle. After reviewing all the details on the vehicle, we decided to drive to the dealer to view it. We did receive a call from the sales person Sal to schedule the appt from the website lead. We drove from Orlando to Tampa that Saturday. Once we arrive the vehicle was ready to view. It looked exactly like the photos. Which was awesome. No major cosmetic damages. We test drove the vehicle with Sal, I would say a few blocks from the dealership. Sal was very nice and welcoming. Once completed we decided this was the vehicle for us. From there the paperwork started with finance manager Joe. He was really nice. He discuss our options. We were able to go to the local Publix to get the money orders. They also waited for us to come back since we were close to their closing time. Which was generous. I must say the paperwork was done a lot faster than I traditional dealership which was refreshing. The vehicle price was a set price, no negotiation. We knew prior to contacting the dealership the vehicle was marketed lower than market vehicle and the price was drop several times. I assume since it was on the lot for several months. Which is why we decided to drive to Tampa in the first place. Note: this was an easy sale for the dealership since we did all of our homework on the vehicle and really didn’t need any guidance on the history since it was available online. Although the price was not negotiable they offered us 3 months for basic (transmission) extended warranty. Once the paperwork was complete we were on our way. We did experience some codes on the dashboard the next day. We attempted to use the warranty however it did not cover the particular issues. No major engine issues more geared to maintenance. We did understand we signed a buyers order, AS IS agreement. We had the vehicle inspected and repair within 1-2 weeks. Note: they did offer us to drive back to Tampa however it was more logical to have it repaired in Orlando for safety purposes. We did make contact with the dealer within a weeks time. They reviewed our concerns and offered us a quarter of the repairs. We were pleased they decided to offered some type of help. We are grateful for the easy sales experience, communication and reimbursement. Also the great service from Sal and Joe! The dealership was nice and clean. Also offered us water.! We are enjoying driving the vehicle in style and are happy about our purchase! I will recommended this dealership. Just make sure you review all history and inspect vehicle during test drive. 😁

Come in and drive away was real !
They were clear and upfront and approved me for my car. I was skeptical and they helped me pick a car that I liked and then they told me what it cost to get approved. I payed $1500 down and drove away with a new car. I was worried during the approval process as my credit is not the best, but was so happy to drive away. And pull in my drive way.

Don't do it
I wouldn't do business with this company they do not care about the customer after paying 1000.00 in one month of payments they say there gonna take my car for being short 100.00 on a 430.00 payment i will never do business again and won't be suggesting anyone to go there I have never missed a payment in a pandemic and the one time I'm short they can't even work with u these people have no care in the world about the customer I almost feel like it is a set up just for you to pay all this money and not offer any help so they can come and get the car I've never done business with a company like this and sincerely regret ever Makin the purchase with them

Above and beyond
I had a very gratifying experience at AutoMaxTampa. One of the dealer's best assets is the staff member who helped me with my transaction: Dan Sexton. This gentleman was a true professional, who went above and beyond in his intent to facilitate the sale process for me, keeping my interest in the negotiation with his knowledge and creativity. In the end, I reached the deal I was hoping for, without a prolonged back and forth, and feeling that Mr. Sexton got me an honest arrangement!

3 vehical i bought from them first one lasted 5 months engine died. Still made me pay it off put me in a 2nd van lasted less than1 year tramsmission went out then they made put me in a third van it died in less than 30 days with no trade in value on the on that the transmission went out onade me pay the balance and a high down payment then to top it off they had turned off the check engine light so it would have to be driven 50 miles before i would know there was a problem with it and after taking it back to thrm twice i still had to psy to fix that problrm. I had to go for a covid 19 test in tampa and it broke down and i was stranded thry dent s tow truck to get it but left me standing on the corner stranded not knowing if i was positive or not. If i was to have come up positive they did not care how many people i would have infected with the covid 19 bug. Now you tell me is this a place you think you can trust.

Terrible service
Selling a car with a RADIATOR full of stop LEAK and when the so called mechanic is checking the car he never took the radiator cap off. Putting water in the overflow when the engine takes DexCool. When told of the problem, the derelict manager says " it's not pumping water" it cant pump water, with the radiator full of stop leak and rust. Then this sorry excuse for management hangs up the phone. Ion know about all of the positive reviews on this site. The manager is very unprofessional. And the car is a piece of junk. See ya in small claims court

I contacted Joe Cupp regarding a car that I was interested in. I could not have asked for a better person to work with! He was kind, knowledgeable and gave me options for other vehicles as well. Their finance manager, Janet was wonderful as well! The entire transaction from start to finish took less than 2 hours. Here's the review I stated I'd do Dave. I thought when I purchased the car that it only needed some minor work and was ok with that. Ever since then the car has been in and out of the shop. They are by law supposed to send you your tag when you get a temp tag which they didn't and mine expired. When I phoned I was told I could pick it up because it was there in the stack. I stated I wasn't driving a car with an expired temp tag. My address was reviewed and was assured I'd receive it overnight which is tomorrow, June 30th. I will not recommend this dealership to anybody when business is conducted in such a poor manner after I stated I could send Dave business. I suggest you get off the booze before you destroy your father's business. If tag is not received 5/30 as stated I will take action.
