I had a horrible experience at Bradford Automotive in Maiden, N.C. I purchased a 2008 Ford Explorer 4X4 from Bradford in October 2022. The day after my purchase, it stalled on 16 Highway with a tractor trailer directly behind me. When I alerted Bradford he told me to take the vehicle Fitzgeralds to have it looked at. It turns out that the main computer which makes the vehicle run was replaced by Bradford without disclosing it to me prior to my purchasing the vehicle. (I only found out from the manager at Fitzgerald’s - the automotive shop Bradford uses to fix and inspect the cars he sells. The manager’s exact words were “I feel sorry for you” which I understand to mean everyone was aware of the problem before Bradford sold me the vehicle.) Eight months later the vehicle still stalls periodically without warning and I am still trying find another computer for the vehicle all the while Bradford is holding the warranty on the replaced computer but refuses to respond to my communiques. In fact, he has told the people at Fitzgeralds not to help me. I, in good conscience, cannot sell the vehicle to an unsuspecting buyer like Bradford did to me so I am stuck with a car that is dangerous to drive and worthless because I never know when or where it will stall.

Family owned and features a great selection of vehicles. You can definitely tell that they are trying to find a car that best suits your need. I bought my first vehicle here and I have not regretted a single second of my decision!
