He is professional, knowledgeable, kind, fair, and just an all around great guy. I have had nothing but good experiences with the service department and seriously would not consider purchasing a vehicle from any other dealership in Salt Lake.
I live out of state but have a condo in Utah and I am ONLY going to bring my MINI to this dealership for service from now on. Seriously. I took my MINI... into the Vegas dealership last month because I was due for an oil change and I had an issue with a back taillight malfunction. I took the car in and left it all day. Picked the car up and the very next day, I got the warning light about the taillight again. So I was planning a visit to Utah and figured I'd make an appointment at the local MINI to have them look at the taillight. Let me tell you that the service in Murray is NIGHT AND DAY different from the incompetent yahoos who run the Las Vegas MINI service department. First, I was greeted with a smile by complete professionals. Mike was my service adviser and he took careful notes and listened to all my concerns (I also was having issues getting my iPod to play through my MINI connected system). They had no loaner cars for the day (bummer) so I made myself comfortable at their loft work space area. Bring your laptop, you can set up for the day! The lounge area also has free Goldfish crackers, coffee, and a fridge stocked with complimentary cans of soda. There's a t.v. or course, and clean restrooms. It took a couple of hours but the service department fixed everything for me! They said that there was a melted wire in the taillight that hadn't been fixed. Guess the folks in Vegas didn't want to bother fixing it. And here's what made me SO ANGRY -- turns out the Vegas MINI service department DID NOT CHANGE MY OIL, so the Murray guys did it for me! OMG! I just can't express how happy and pleased I am with the service and care I received at MINI of Murray. I will never take my car anywhere else. I am serious. I will make the 6 hour drive just to come here. Thanks guys!
