I purchased a vehicle from Benji Auto they assured me

I purchased a vehicle from Benji Auto they assured me that it had a hundred thousand mile factory warranty on the drivetrain they ripped me off I gave them $6,000 down payment towards the truck in a 2011 Cadillac CTS that they were supposed to pay off they never applied to $6,000 towards the price of the truck I received loan papers for $41,000 on a $25,000 truck engine blew two months later that's how I found out I had no warranty on the vehicle like they said when they sold it to me and that was the main reason why I bought a newer vehicle . Chevy dealership in Melbourne Florida is where I had to have the truck towed to tell me it's $10,000 to replace the motor now Benji Auto refuse to even try to take care of this problem I'm now out the tow fee to get the vehicle there the car rental that I have to rent now to diagnostic fee and a $10,000 bill for a new engine on a vehicle that I just purchased less than 3 months ago these people are liars they scam you and if your ex military stay away from them they will steal your last dollar and tell you anything under the moon to get you to purchase a car I never received any paperwork they said they would email me my whole contract never got it following paperwork I ever received was transfer of registration again these are bad people and I don't understand how the State of Florida allows them to still have a dealer's license to be in business

During the past week (1/7/2024-1/19/2024) I had purchased

During the past week (1/7/2024-1/19/2024) I had purchased a used vehicle from Benji's Auto Sales. While purchasing I was reasurred by two sales workers that had reassured me that my vehicle would be insured for up to 30 days from the purchase date. After purchasing the vehicle, I checked the oil to find that it had been overfilled past the limit, indicative of a hiding a vehicles motor problems. Additionally, the exhaust pipe of the vehicle had been spewing black gas. This is after we were told the vehicle had been "inspected", which after these situations and more, we doubt. After driving the vehicle to university and back twice, the vehicle had a significant loss of oil. Therefore, we returned to the dealership to speak with a figure that would help us fix, or replace the vehicle, six days after the purchase. We were spoken to by another authority figure, seperate from the two salesmen, that assured us that the they would do anything possible to assist with our problem. Finally, instead of fixing the issue, the dealership delayed the problem by only changing the oil of the vehicle and again reassuring that if in 1 week there was a problem with the vehicle, we would be able to return it to be fixed. 1 week from this day passed and the same issued had occured with the vehicle. On Saturday (1/19/2024), I had returned to the dealer in order to seek a solution yet again but was given the direction to return the vehicle to a Hyundai certified dealer to replace the motor which would be at no cost to us. This is due to a recall that we had not been alerted before purchasing the vehicle or while completing the paperwork. When making an appointment at the Hyundai dealership, we find out that the recalls had nothing to do with the motor or the oil problem and instead were for minor unrelated parts of the car. Therefore, we believe due to a multitude of reasons that the dealership have knowingly sold us a faulty car or, at the very least, had misinformed us over the car during purchase.

Waste of Time

They love to use deceptive advertising and winning a prize to get you to come to a sales event. Not worth the time!! Fine print may "explain" but highly deceptive on its face.

Absolute Nightmare

I bought a car August 14th now it's Oct 25th I had 2 temporary license plates expired, I can't drive the car I am paying for because somehow they can't get the title for over 2month to get it registered and do a simple license plate transfer. I tried to call number of times nobody answers the phone at the title department.

They are a SCAM

If I could give a zero I would. We went to this dealer looking for a specific vehicle but we were told that the vehicle had issues with it so it was unavailable. They had suggested a similar vehicle but that it was in Orlando. We really didn’t want to wait to see a vehicle but they told us they could transfer down with no problem, we would just have to give a $500 deposit and that if we didn’t like the vehicle, the deposit would be returned. The next day we didn’t hear back from the dealer all day and we called the sales person that was helping us and they told us it would be there at 6pm. We went there and we liked the vehicle but unfortunately it was too small for our family. The sales person kept trying to convince us that it was “spacious” when it clearly wasn’t. We tried looking at other vehicles but the one we settled with, didn’t end up working with our budget. We left that night without making a purchase. After a couple days we called asking about the refund of the deposit and they told us since we didn’t make a purchase that we will not be refunded. We told them that that wasn’t explained to us and we are under no obligation to buy a vehicle. I spoke to manager Tyler and he told us that the car actually came from further than Orlando and have to make out the cost of that and then we were questioned as to why we didn’t purchase the second option. Then he continued to argue that we were made aware of the “down payment”. I told him that it’s his company’s practice and suggestion to transfer their vehicles- we did not ask them to do that and that it was not a down payment, that it was a refundable deposit. Then he tried to explain that we signed paperwork in hopes that I wouldn’t know any better; that if you do not take the car off the lot then it’s not an official transaction. Tyler was very deflecting, condescending and didn’t give any resolution. On top of that, we keep trying to call the people we dwelt with directly and they don’t answer and continue to transfer our calls to a voicemail that doesn’t take voicemail.

Don't buy from these people

I bought a car online with benji for 37.999 I signed buyers order for 37.999 but after reviewing my contract my total sales price with my 2000 down payment and 11138 financing the total sales price was 56070. ? Well after speaking to finance manager even though not right I agreed to a 1000 check with car . Today is June 16th I bought car on June 6th they are 11 hrs away and I still don't have a car nor my money back nor will they answer my call or text so basically I was robbed 2000 and financed them a car with my credit bc I haven't received nothing!!!

Scam artists

Well we purchased a car on May 1st and you have yet to pay off our trade in. When we call you send us to a voicemail that’s full or hang up. All we ever hear is you’re working on it but please tell me how you work on sending a check. Now it’s been over 30 days so it affects our credit. You are clearly anything but trustworthy and give clients the runaround instead of doing what you agreed upon doing. Still waiting on that phone call from the general manager or owner so we can discuss how you basically stole our vehicle and how and when this situation would be resolved. I hope people stay far away from this place. They told me the owner is a retired cop.. interesting business he runs.

Best dealership ever!!!

I have bought several cars at Benji Auto Sales. 3 were out of state and 2 were locals. my experience was excellent my out of state specialist Gelson was excellent he delivered everything as promised when I called I spoke to nery and she's very professional she guided me she gave me the Carfax everything I needed to know was true. I totally recommend this dealership the most amazing service. sales reps were so attentive, I met the whole team and they were so kind and professional, they offered me coffee. I had the best experience ever! if I ever need a car again I'm definitely going back to Benji Auto Sales! I came tho all the bad reviews.. never believe everything you read there's this saying of "never judge a book by it's cover" come in and experience yourself everyone I've referred to Benji's have had the same amazing experience as me.
