Fast, friendly service.
Fast, friendly service.Fully explained the whole process and made it easy.I drove for hours to New Jersey to look at a couple lemons only to find a great deal 45 minutes from home at CarMax Easton.

Bait and switch
Reserve a vehicle and then get told (after waiting several days for delivery) that their is a "problem" with the title and they have another "similar " vehicle (more mileage, wrong edition) for the same price! They wouldn't lower it and said it's only a matter of saving 25 a month to lower it!!! No thanks, they obviously sold it when someone else walked in. Why bother reserving????

Horrendous Customer Service and Organization
Horrendously long process took over a week to transfer a car from Delaware to NJ and then once they had it had to track them down to find out they don't have the title and cannot provide me a test drive.. Had to beg to even look at the car. Get there and have another car held to test drive. Have an appointment can't have someone see me for 25 minutes. Horrendous Customer Service by sales rep Anne and I've been to MANY dealers and have never seen such a bad salesperson. Other car I have on hold they say is sold then find out later it isn't...

RESULTS
EASY LAID BACK ATMOSPHERE, Tyler was smooth ,humorous and attentive to details. Everything laid out easy to understand, selection of JEEPS small but everyone was a buy, just pick your price range. I had looked online at their vehicles so that I knew to compare each against the other . the test drive offered me my decision. The finance rate was higher than anticipated, so have a plan B, they give you 3 days to get a better rate and come back and pay it off. I bought an extended 150k bumper to bumper warranty for piece of mind due to the miles I drive-$35 a month, worth it!

Worst Car buying experience ever!!!!!
Came to this facility to purchase a used car and the sales rep was trying to put me in the car that he wanted too!!!!! I had to switch to a different sales rep and the previous one was upset ( I could tell by body movements and facial expressions). I did end up purchasing a car from the second rep. After a few MONTHS, started having trouble with the car, especially after the warranty ended. The mechanic department at the Sicklerville, NJ location are the worst. I will never purchase a car from Carmax again!! This bad experience just ruined their business with me.

Waste of time for anyone with good credit.
I went through a 3 week process to attenpt to purchase a vehicle. Was passed onto 4 different sales people. Eventually test drove the car that went through their "extensive" 125 point inspection. The car smelled like burning rubber after the test drive. Was told it was just the wheel shine spray. The rear hubcap was burning hot. I asked for it to be checked. Needless to say, the calibers were bad & had to be replaced. I returned for a 2nd test drive & dealt with my 4th sales person. I was previously told by a sales rep that 2-4% APR would be possible for excellent credit, which I have. I was offered 9.75% instead by Carmax financing. When I refused & asked for it to be run through the numerous other banks they had listed, they would not do it. I explained that I would have no issue getting a lower APR elsewhere and asked if they are willing to lose a sale over that. The answer was yes, they would rather lose the sale. I left immediately. I went through another dealer & was able to get 3.2% APR. I'm sure Carmax is great for desperate people with credit issues but absolutely terrible process for those with good credit. Obviously, the 125 point inspection also needs to add a few more points & include calibers. You would think that was included. Absolutely would never recommend Carmax to anyone I know!
