I put a deposit on a jeep they had there to hold it till
I put a deposit on a jeep they had there to hold it till i could look at it. well, that was a waste of time. I got to the dealership and had to wait 20 min to even get to talk to someone or get to see the jeep I had been inquiring about. Then, we looked at the car and quite a few things caught my eye. One, the back was missing the original layout panel, and under there was no pump or anything; blank. When I asked if I could get something in place of that, I was told no, it would be costly...even just jumper cables. It was also missing floor mats. When I asked for those as well, he said it would be costly, I said no..A car needs to come with floor mats. He took some from another car and said he'd have to decrease the other car price by 200 now..Two, car was smoke in. You could smell it evidently, and that lowers the price of the car, which of course, they didn't. Three, the hood area had oil dripped and everywhere. When we asked about it they tried to accuse my father, who's a mechanic, of making the mess, and tried to deny it was oil even though you could plainly see it. The boss, Justin, was like it's not oil, it's clear coat. One of the salesguys even touched it then licked it to taste... Gross. When I pointed out it was brown, Justin goes, I guess it is oil....Forth, we go inside to talk price. Justin says he doesn't want to budge because he has two people "ask about the jeep this weekend"...Then when I went on a rant of how everyone wants to negotiate, he was willing to somewhat drop the price. I walked away due to nonsense after nonsense. Just be prepared to be told you're wrong and not heard.

Regarding the condition of the Jeep, we acknowledge your observations about the missing rear layout panel and the absence of a spare tire or pump. These vehicles are sold with the equipment they have upon arrival. While we strive to accommodate requests, significant additions or replacements can unfortunately incur costs. We did attempt to find floor mats from another vehicle on our lot for you. Concerning the oil in the engine compartment, we want to clarify that our team believes this was likely a result of a recent oil change or potentially from checking the oil level. We apologize if there was any miscommunication. We also apologize that we were unable to come to an agreement on a price. We again thank you for your comments.
