Moundbuilders Motor Group is a low pressure used car dealership that specializes in cars under 10k. We strive to give people the experience like buying from a private owner. We are not high pressure and are willing to work with you so our vehicles will fit your budget. We understand that purchasing a used car can be stressful and challenging. Most of our inventory comes direct from new car franchise dealers. We keep our overhead low so we can sell cars at great prices.

I was interested in a car that they had on marketplace.

I was interested in a car that they had on marketplace. I asked about all that they offered saying warranty 60/60000 mile driverrain and few other things and then was told no it is as is no warranty. Im so glad I didnt drive 3 hours to buy the car and be bamboozled. Was a bad experience dealing with them. I will never ever deal with this place in my life. Belive ill be posting and have my friends post. Would have been - 10 stars but no option for negative stars

They were nice enough to hold the vehicle while I made

They were nice enough to hold the vehicle while I made the 3 hour trip to look at a BMW X3. I test drove the vehicles as soon as we arrived and it was a very nice vehicle. When asked by the sales person what I thought, I replied that I was sold on it but asked if I could test drive another vehicle that my son also liked, but I personally was not interested in. Another group of people came in to buy a Mercedes similar to the one we were getting ready to drive but it had a mechanical issue so the shifted interest to the Mercedes we were getting ready to drive. I told the people to go ahead and take the car first because I was here for the X3 and was not really interested in the Mercedes. They drove the car first and then I took a 15 min drive. As I pulled into the dealership, that same group took the X3 for a drive. As we were getting out of the Mercedes the sales person approached me and said that they had a policy at the dealership and he explained that I had basically forfeited my position to buy the X3 because I drove another vehicle. He continued to explain that if the people that were test driving the X3 decided they wanted it then he would have to sell it to them first. Of course they wanted the car and I was informed it was no longer available for sale. I made a suggestion to the sales person that this sort of policy should be brought to their customers attention in the beginning, not out of the blue. I was amazed that they could hold the car for 3 hours while I drove to the dealership to buy it but couldn’t hold it for 15 min while I drove another car from their lot. I had cash in hand to buy the X3 and intended on doing so but unfortunately the dealer had other plans. Lastly, he could have explained to the other group that if I said no to the X3 it was theirs or he could have simply told me that there were others interested in the BMW and I needed to give him an answer right now. I would have simply said YES I want it. I can’t say anything bad about the car I went to buy as it was very nice, nor can I say anything bad about the sales person as he was very nice. However, I can say that their policy is not fair and not explained nor have I experienced anything like that in my 40 years of car buying. 6 hours round trip with nothing to show for it but the the same pile of cash that I left home with. I will be buying a car but I will buy my car locally and will be sure to ask if they have any crazy policies they would like to disclose to me prior to test driving anything. Am I angry? No, more upset that anything, But I hope the dealership can take something away from this particular interaction and make some changes to practice/policy.

I have emailed at least 3 times about a car and no response applied for a loan from the site still no response so I will now look somewhere else for a car

MOUNDBUILDERS TAKE 2

Ok, so I bought a car there recently for my son and it needed brakes badly within 2 weeks of purchasing it. I didn’t expect what came next. After it had been repaired I called them assuming I’d hear the old “as-is” speech. I won’t say what happened other than I’m surprised and extremely satisfied! Totally changed my opinion of them. Will recommend!!

Great Experience

Great dealer! I ended up finding a car elsewhere that I liked better but the entire experience with this dealer was great. I will definitely check them out next time I'm shopping for a car.

Very Happy

We purchased a Honda Odyssey from this place and I will say it was a very pleasant experience. Everyone was extremely nice. Our 4 year old daughter was not feeling well at all that day and she just wanted to go home. Brendan was the one who did our paper work and he was very quick with everything. After a few minutes our daughter got sick in the van and he was nice as could be about it. He helped us by getting paper towels. He made what turned into a stressful situation much less stressful and was very, very nice!! Will definitely be going back when we are in the market again for another vehicle!!

Great deal, great service

After spending weeks looking for the vehicle I wanted, I finally found what I was looking for at Moundbuilders. Their staff were very friendly, but not pushy at all. In fact, they didn't even copy my id for a test drive. The car I bought is great, exactly what I was looking for and the buying process was quick.
