    Every time i have my oil changed, i have to scoop out the oil dry in my garage. This time they left my vehicle running with the windows down until I returned... to the shop. Who knows how long...

    I picked my car from Cars.com, used the Availabilty feature to open a dialogue with the sales staff and the CarFax to determine the vehicle had been well... maintained. I live two hours from Columbia so I got there at 7:00 for a test drive. I had a salesman assigned to me, Jesse, did an excellent job, knew the vehicle inside and out, came with us on the test drive and answered all our questions as we went. We came pre-approved for financing through the credit union so the purchase went smoothly. Heath and Jesse stayed well after closing to accommodate us, so five stars on customer service. Everything was clean and neat and they had soda, coffee, and tea on tap, so five stars for the facilities. The snag was in the paperwork. The Machens chain of dealerships apparently has a central office that keeps the titles and they don't routinely keep a copy of it with the sales paperwork. My credit union needed a copy of the title and release of any liens. It took till Monday to get the title faxed to the credit union and it turned out they did not have the release letter for the lien on the title. I have been waiting a week and a half for everything to get where it needs to go, so I give four stars for buying process. I have trusted the dealership not to send my check to the bank all this time, so there's a mutual trust here that you won't find from most businesses, so I rate their overall five stars despite the minor frustration. If I had to do it all over again, I would make sure they had a copy of the title and lien release with the purchase paperwork before I went to test drive the car. But it's really a minor inconvenience and my wife and I were extremely happy with the sales and purchase staff, the quality of the vehicle and the price, and the facilities we experienced.

    I just purchased a "new" used truck yesterday (Toyota Tundra CrewMax) and I'm totally delighted! Glenn Patterson helped me through the conversations and... process.
