Porsche Boxster
I just purchased a 2013 Boxster from Larry and it was the best car buying experience I’ve had! He walked me through all the details of the vehicle providing a detailed review demonstrating all the original parts, paint, etc. He then took my son and I for a walk through his shop (it’s a rare opportunity to see the inner-workings of a Porsche) and my son and I were both impressed with Larry’s knowledge and clear enthusiasm for sport cars. I also appreciate that while I was far from purchasing the most expensive car in his collection, that I was treated as if I were. I’ll be back to buy from Larry in the future.

Purchased a 2009 Audi A5 with 40,000 miles
Purchased a 2009 Audi A5 from HiLine. Normally I would not be interested in a vehicle that old, but decided to buy based on the reputation of HiLine, the terrific condition and low miles of the vehicle. I am very satisfied with the purchase. The car is everything I hoped it would be. The crew at HiLine were very helpful with some minor issues that came up. Geography was kind of hard to manage, but you have to go far sometimes to get the right car. Well worth the trade off. The best part of the experience was the service delivered by the staff after the sale. Would recommend HiLine.

Mercedes Benz SLK300
I cant say enough about buying a car from Larry. The car was immaculate in and out. He made the sale from start to finish very easy. If i called with any questions, he called back right away. I wish i could give more than 5 stars because he truly deserves it. I bought a 2011 Mercedes Benz slk300 and it looks like brand new. I am beyond happy with my purchase.

Maserati Quattroporte GTS
Just bought a 09 Maserati quattroporte GTS from Larry. The car was just as described by Larry as in showroom condition with no dings or dents. Larry was honest and knowledgeable about the cars he sells and it was a no pressure deal from the beginning. Yes the car was pricey but you get what you pay for. The quattroporte had 12800 miles on it so it was basically a new car. Larry gave me a fair price and took care of me from the start of my endeavor. If you are looking for a solid car with no gimmicks and suprises I would highly recommend Larry. There were no hidden fees and he was totally up front with the price of the car and a $148 out of state processing fee. I would highly recommend Larry if your in the used car market, his staff works on the cars at his shop and he stands by his work. We are looking at another vehicle and I will definitely be back to shop at Larry’s Hiline.

Vantage purchase...
Larry the owner, treated me with respect during the buying process! I was new to luxury exotics and wanted to make the right choice. I purchased an Aston Martin Vantage and the car was almost new as advertised! I feel like I got great deal vs a great price. The car is flawless! I am very happy with my decision to buy a resale from HiLine! Additionally, Larry continues to be very accessible and supportive after the sale. It was a great buying experience!

Another Great Purchase Experience!!!!
As always, when our family is in need of another vehicle, this is our ONLY place to shop and purchase. We LOVE European - higher end cars - that are in excellent condition - with lower miles - at a fair price. Larry has always educated us on the items which are "commonly prone" to fail on each of our cars over time and makes sure everything is updated, repaired and validated, prior to sale. I have found that this is different than others who may advertise "cheaper" prices, but upon inspection of the vehicle, you find they have failed to make these critically expensive repairs and/or have embellished pics and cosmetic condition. The cars are pre-owned and depending on the specific vehicle you buy, can be extremely expensive to repair, therefore it's critically important you understand all of this and account for it, relative to "the price you pay". Larry's knowledge and experience has kept us from making costly mistakes.

Great buying experience.
I recently purchased a 2003 Mercedes CLK430. This was my first experience buying a car online. Larry made the process very easy. From first enquiry thru to delivery, the communication was open and complete. I knew exactly what I was buying- transparent and honest. The car is even nicer than described. Highly recommended.

Not a good experience
I purchased a 2007 XK Jaquar from this dealer a year ago. I should have know something was odd when after being shown for sale I showed up and it was not ready to sell, wires uncovered from the battery access, dusty and not easy to get around to inspect. I wanted the car and that was the biggest mistake I made as an out of state buyer. The vehicle was in a minor accident but there really wasn't any sign of damage although the back bumper buy the trunk lid had a small crack in it. When I got the car home I didn't notice but the left headlight Zeno had melted the housing. We did negotiate a price to replace this but even used it cost $600. When I went to get it inspected in my state I had to buy new tires because PA has very lean inspection. The front left wheel was also bent that I had to get fixed. After driving this around for a month the airbag light came on because the modular or clock spring was bad. After that the coolant hose to the engine began to leak be use someone tried to cut out a bad spot and just replace but the bend was too tight and it failed. The reason I know this is because they left the old hose clamp on the hose and added another one. Since then the engine light has been coming on for misfire coded and vacuum leaks to bank 1 and 2. We are not into a full year yet and not the rear differential is leaking pretty bad, and this care doesn't get driven that often and has low mileage. I guess I could say that I have a lemon and this vehicle should have never been sold. I payed way more than this piece of crap is worth and just recently tried to trade it in and they would only give me a small fraction of what I payed for it. I dought the dealer of this would buy it back. This was a very bad buy on my part and I would not recommend buying from this guy if your from out of state. I'm hoping I'm not the norm for this business.

Customer purchased 2007 Jaguar XK Convertible with 17K miles over a year ago. We apologize for your experience. We facilitate all of our deals the same. All of our cars are sold with a 3rd party independent mechanical inspection performed by a licensed inspector from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. You were given a copy of this report prior to purchase. Your car is also given an evaluation in terms of operational components to ensure items are working properly at the time of sale. We told you prior to showing any car that we do so by appointment only. None of our cars can be fully detailed/cleaned without notice. You wanted to view the car anyway, so we allowed you to do so. We also installed a Brand New soft top at no charge for you prior to purchase. You were elated when you arrived again to purchase. Then you registered the car in Maryland so you had to have a MD inspection. Upon doing so, you told me to replace items which were already validated with a third party PA inspection/emission which is governed by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PENNDOT). PA, unlike MD, has the most rigorous, detailed yearly inspections of any state in the country. MD only does inspections when the car has to be initially registered in MD and again only when the car is resold. Therefore, MD inspectors tend to go overboard at the customers expense. None of the items failed our PA state requirement. These are used cars not new so wearable assessments are subjective. The PA legal standard is paramount to opinion. The car was sold with a third party PA inspection governed by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. You were given this inspection report on purchase day. You were told prior to sale that the rear tires were close but passed PA inspection. We offered to replace them at our cost but you insisted on a credit stating you could install them cheaper. We also replaced the front brakes at our cost after informing you that they passed inspection but are a bit under 50 percent. Now, you are blaming us for issues which occurred after a year of ownership which are no way predictable for anyone. The issues you've had are typical for the car. Just do the research. We do our best to validate, inspect & update items which we know from experience may be of concern. Most importantly, we do our best.I offered you to bring the car in to validate any issue but you declined. Respectfully, you bought a 17K mile car which was third party inspected, PA inspected/emissioned by law. You understood these terms prior to registering in MD. Our contract states we are in no way responsible for any state inspection requirements except PA. Our contracts are extremely detailed on sale day with each item explained & agreed to by (you) the customer with your initials/signatures in agreement of each item. You were offered an extended warranty but declined. Now, you leave us this review a year later. This is disappointing. After reviewing this experience, we always acknowledge the customers perspective and try to evaluate if there was anything different we could have done. This car was facilitated no different than any other.
HiLine Motorsports LLC
I recently purchased a 2005 BMW 325Ci from Larry at HiLine motorsports. While I'm not new to the internet buying process, I have to give great credit to Larry and his team. The car was exactly as represented (better actually) and both Larry and the lead tech on the car, Doryan, went out of their way to insure that it was ready to go. My every request was happily executed and they went above and beyond when they were prepping the car, replacing parts that they felt were not up to their impeccable standards. These guys are professionals and they know and love the cars they sell. You are not paying for a fancy showroom or a latte while you wait. Your dollar goes towards high quality cars that are mechanically and cosmetically sound. They do not misrepresent what they are selling. The pricing reflects the quality and care they put in to each deal. If you are shopping price and not value, look elsewhere and beware. If you want a great automobile at a fair price, Larry is your guy. Value, quality, selection, HiLine Motorsports is the place to shop. Yes, I know that sounds like an advertisement, but my experience was great. I will buy from there again. If you’re a baseball fan, ask Larry about his days playing for the Pirates organization, great stories…

2008 BMW M3 Convertible
I spent a considerable amount of time researching and searching local and internet dealers for exactly the right 2008-2013 BMW M3 6-speed. Finally I found the perfect match at Larry’s HiLine Motorsports. What made this interaction stand apart from others is you’re dealing directly with Larry, the owner, not a salesperson. Since I live within an hour drive of their location, I made an appointment to personally inspect the BMW. Larry accommodated my request on a Saturday and spent a considerable amount of time going over the details of the vehicle as well as answering my questions. He was extremely knowledge and well versed. The vehicle was exactly as described in his posting and the pictures didn’t do this pristine BMW justice. I made arrangements to pick up the 2008 BMW M3 Convertible several weeks later and couldn’t have been more excited to drive away in a completely, inside and out, vehicle. All the paperwork was easy, straightforward, and handled by Larry personally. If high quality is at the top of your list, I’d give Larry Hiline Motorsports my vote of confidence.
