Crain Kia of Fort Smith Hours
Read reviews that mention:
Took a Cadenza in for trunk won't open. Tech checked said he was going on vacation and bring it back next week and he'd have to trace down all the wiring.... Two plus hours. Looked on YouTube. Customers with same two hour scenarios. Explained hidden switch under glove box that had vibrated to off mode. Mechanic I'm sure knew of this, if not needs to seek another trade. Switch not shown in owners manual.
Just bought my second vehicle from Ricky Nolan. Best car deal experience I have ever had. Everyone was great. Also the service department was awesome.... Audrey made me feel like family .
A big thank you Jordan for expediting getting a man out and away from the dealership to install a new battery in my wife's car, and to Brandon Hobbs for... his expedience and courtesy in the installation of the battery. My wife is back on the road safe and sound, Thanks too the good People from the person who answered the phone to the Service Department at Crain Kia of Ft. Smith, AR.
Thank you John for posting this review. We are so glad she is back up and running. Be safe out there! The Crain Team.
I drove over 7 hours round trip to purchase a 2018 Ford Explorer Platinum from Crain Kia in Ft. Smith on January 16th. I loved my salesperson, the rest... of the management staff leaves much to be desired. I am registering my car in Florida at my full time residence. I'm living in Arkansas while my storm-damaged home is rebuilt in Central Florida. I spent 32 years in the car business and finance and sales Management before I retired in 2018. I di out of state deals all the tim hard. Crain Kia uses a company called RegUSA to handle the out of state deals. Everything that could have possibly gone wrong with his deal after the sale has gone wrong. Arkansas state law requires the dealer register your vehicle within 30 days. That has not been done. They sent me a second temp tag which is about to expire and still haven't processed my tag work yet. The GM, Tom After, will NOT return one so glad phone call. He has managed to reply to a few emails, never fully answering my very direct questions. They also sold me this truck with a major oil leak. I got him home 3.5 hours away and the oil pressure light was on. I took it to the local Ford dealer who informed me it was leaking at the oil pressure sensor pretty badly. Crain sent me a copy of the internal work order showing the oil hand been changed with 5 quarts two days before I bought it. It almost all leaked out within 4 days. Ross Ford said that there is no way a trained tech would have missed that big of an oil leak unless he just wasn't paying attention and that I was lucky I brought it in so quickly before the engine seized. I had to have the oil changed all over again at the Ford dealership but the bad sensor was covered under the manufacturer's warranty. They did reimburse me for the oil change but they made it as difficult as possible. It's just been a disaster that escalated due to their lack of communication with me in any type of fashion let alone a timely fashion.
Took car in for oil change waited for 3 hours for a phone call for us to come pick it back up never got one decided to go and see what was going on car... was parked in front of service dept with a dent and scratch's down the side of it went in to get keys asked them about it they went out there said it was like that when we dropped it off I knew it didn't have any before then asked for paperwork showing services done like they have always gave us before they said it would be mailed to us and they hurried back inside we left feeling rushed out of there and our questions not answered if not for the maintenance plan we bought we would never be going back there after the plan coupons are used up will never be going back for service or to buy a vehicle
They stood behind there word they helped me with the sales tax that made it possible for me I am very pleased they made the experience very pleasant my... very first new car
I called and placed an order for a spare tire kit for my vehicle on my lunch hour. I was told that the tire would have to be mounted, so I said that I... would pick it up the next day after I got off work at 5:00. I tried to emphasize the desire to have the tire already mounted and be ready for installation upon arrival. The latter did not happen. The tire didn’t get mounted until I arrived, resulting in a wait longer then I expected.
Crain KIA has been our only dealer since in Fort Smith. They will remain our only dealer. Understand our needs. Great people to buy from.
I purchased a car from Heath. Overall, It was a great experience. My one critique of Crain Kia would be, respect the customer’s limits. My salesman was... great, but they sent some guy named Chris at one point to try to talk me into a payment that was more than $100/month above my very frequently stated budget. He was pushy and tried his very best to make me feel stupid. Avoid him at all costs. Heath, my actual salesman, on the other hand was excellent. He was friendly, helpful, and gave you time and space to make decisions without feeling rushed or prodded. Loved working with him.
Thank you Gentry for this information we will look into this. We take pride in our relationships with our customers and their feed back is very import...ant to us. Glad Heath was able to help you out. - The Crain Kia Ft. Smith team
