Fraud, Misrepresentation, Wire Fraud PLEASE READ BOTH
Fraud, Misrepresentation, Wire Fraud PLEASE READ BOTH PARTS OF OUR REVIEW Part 1. We were buying a Mini Cooper Countryman for my wife. We live in Denver and searched for cars on CarGurus. We found a great looking car in Ft. Collins (about 1.5 hours drive away) and another in Illinois at Guaranteed Motors. We contacted both dealers about pricing and the more local car was, not surprisingly, less expensive even before delivery charges. So we drove up to Ft. Collins to buy the local car. It was a beautiful car, my wife sat in the driver’s seat, and popped right back out saying “It has manual seats! I don’t want a car with manual seats.” The saleslady was not willing to make any price concessions for the manual seats, so we did not buy that car. As we were driving home, I reached out to Zach, the salesman at Guaranteed Motors. As part of our phone conversation, I asked Zach if the Countryman he was selling had power seats. Zach’s reply was “Of course it does.” I told him that “of course” was not accurate because we were driving away from a very similar Countryman that did not have power seats. Zach assured us the car had power seats. We then negotiated for the next 24 hours on price and delivery, finally agreeing to buy the car. When the Countryman was delivered, my wife opened the driver’s door to discover the car had manual seats – not the power seats Zach had assured us it had. This was a major disappointment, as we would not have bought this car if we had known it had manual seats. I texted Zach about this issue, but he avoided contacting me for a couple of days until I got him on the phone. Zach was very honest and told me that he had made a mistake, he had not checked the car to see if the seats were power or not, and said he was very sorry for the misrepresentation. Zach told me to contact his manager M.J. to see if we could resolve this. When I spoke with M.J., he asked what would be the ideal resolution. Obviously, that would be to have power seats in my wife’s new car. I researched what it would take to do this and was told by one local shop it would cost between $5000-$7000. Another local shop said it was more like $6000-$10,000 to retrofit the seats. That seemed like too much to ask. So I asked MJ to either take back the car, since it was not what we had thought we were buying, or just credit back $4000 against the purchase price. This seemed more reasonable than having them pay to put in power seats, and was the same amount another car on their lot had been discounted for not having power seats. When I finally heard back from MJ five days later, he told me that the dealership’s owners were “not inclined” to do anything at all. I mentioned that this was a fraudulent transaction, and MJ responded that it was not fraud because the dealer had not intended to mislead us. However, the misrepresentation was made to entice us to buy the car. So, now we have a car that does not have one of the main features my wife wanted, we cannot get the feature added with spending thousands of additional dollars, and Guaranteed Motors response is “too bad, we didn’t mean to lie to you.” Misrepresentation is misrepresentation, and Zach clearly meant to mislead us so we would buy this car. It did not match our desired and specified requirements. It was not the car we thought we were getting. We clearly expressed the fact that we were not interested in buying a Countryman without power seats, but the folks at Guaranteed Motors lied to us, misrepresented the car, admitted to this and will do nothing to make it right. No one should do business with these con men and scoundrels.

Don’t ignore the negative reviews like I did (also just saw their BBB accreditation status is suspended lol…yikes)! Long story short: love the car I bought here but highly regret giving this place my business. This dealership adds a profit cushion to their “Great Deal” prices using a $1,295 “Prep” fee, $695 VIN Etch fee, and more if you let them (don’t). To also prep my vehicle, one of their staff members (I’m assuming) put about 1,200 additional miles on the car (about 18 hours worth of driving) since when they first got it in May 2024 and when I bought it Dec. 2024. They pushed warranties at every step of the way and eventually sold me one that they verbally stated was only $663. I brought a check for the full purchase amount based on a signed bill of sale they sent including Ohio sales tax. I purchased the warranty by paying the $663 with a credit card, but then later realized at my local BMV that they removed the sales tax, used that $2,887.58 for the warranty, and charged me the excess $663 to equal the ACTUAL price of the warranty that was never stated- $3,455. I knew it sounded too good to be true but at the time nobody mentioned (either in person or via text/email/call during the 4.5 drive there) that since I was paying in full, the tax was automatically removed. At no point did anyone mention that I would be responsible for paying tax back home, so I ended up paying the $2,800+ out of pocket at the BMV. I 100% believe Dennis intentionally did not explain the tax drop-off so that he could instead pocket more money by selling me the warranty (otherwise they would have needed to either pay the taxes on my behalf or refund that portion of the check). Of course I should have done my due diligence and actually looked in detail before signing, but at that point I trusted that this dealership was not that shady. After much back and forth with MJ, I was offered NO explanation for the excess mileage on the car, lame excuses for the warranty scheme, and reimbursement for the wiper blades, gas, batteries, and rubber floor mats that were listed online as “included”, but were not. However, despite agreeing that I was entitled to reimbursement, that was offered ONLY if I agreed to sign a document that would require me to remove my review and never review the company again (see screenshot). Keep these points in mind when reading reviews for this company: they asked me to leave them a review before I even left the dealership (and realized the bigger issues) AND they only offer to make things right in order to get negative reviews removed. MJ stopped replying two weeks ago and I never saw the document though. Odd. I ended up cancelling the warranty (it’s a waste of money and I was TOLD it was through Integrity, but it’s actually through Continental Warranty Inc. which has horrible reviews). They made that process as difficult as possible, answering the phone with “Hello? Who’s this?” and telling me the “cancellation department” is not in for another week. Yet the next day I spoke to another staff member Gus who then cancelled the warranty for me (still waiting on the refund 2 weeks later though). It’s been almost laughable to experience the level of unprofessionalism and shadiness these people operate with. The minute you have valid concerns, the friendly customer service facade is dropped and you’re being threatened with the “slander” buzzword + being asked to sign an NDA to get a refund for items you already paid a $1,295 “prep fee” for. Stay as far away from this place as possible. They’re GUARANTEED to give you a headache 😉

I won't waste my time or your's with a long review.
I won't waste my time or your's with a long review. I bought a car from them with low mileage. It arrived with various things wrong with it that I later had to fix. The bill was expensive. I can go on and on about how many unprofessional things that they said and did. Do yourself a favor and stay away from them completely! Whatever they're doing has to be illegal. They are horrible!

I had a deeply frustrating experience with Guaranteed
I had a deeply frustrating experience with Guaranteed Motor Cars after purchasing a car from them in February 2024. They sold me two extended warranties for the same coverage, effectively charging me twice for the same thing. When I requested to cancel one of the warranties, I was met with appalling customer service. Everyone I spoke to, including sales representative Archmed and finance guy David Alqam, treated me with utter disrespect. David promised a refund in April 2024, but that promise was never fulfilled. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, including contacting the warranty company DOWC, which confirmed the dealership received the payment, I have been completely ignored. I’ve made over 100 calls and sent countless emails, but nobody at Guaranteed Motor Cars has responded or assisted me. Their lack of communication and support is unacceptable. In my experience, Guaranteed Motor Cars appears to exploit customers for their own gain, showing a complete disregard for honest business practices. I strongly advise against doing business with them. PLEASE, DONT SUPPORT THIS KIND OF BUSINESS AND PEOPLE, THEY DON'T DESERVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME.

Originally I gave this dealer a 5 star review, but will
Originally I gave this dealer a 5 star review, but will now be giving a 1 star and if I could 0 star due to them stating they will install “new tires” when in fact they installed used ones and along with them blowing on the highway less than 7 miles from the dealership. We are out of state buyers and requested the dealer to install 2 new front tires prior to actually purchasing the car. We gave them a week to sort out our requests and came back to pick up the car. They repeatedly said they installed “new” tires, but looking closer the tires they installed were manufactured MAR 2021 which is definitely not new (did not notice until examining pictures again). These tires blew up right when we came off the highway ramp suggesting low tire pressure. Either thats from tire rot or something causing low pressure. They then sent a tow truck to send to a tire shop to install tires where they said they were out of new ones so they could only install used ones, but once we got home, we can call MJ to discuss installing new tires. Since we were out of state, we let them install 2 used tires on the front so we could head home. We called the next day and MJ would not agree to install new tires for us and insisted that the tires they installed the first time around were new even though on the DOT code, you can see they were manufactured in MAR 2021. New tires should not have this date. I suggest to everyone to not get fooled by their initial customer service (good up until the incident) and to avoid this dealership.

I contacted this dealership out of state, I have always need skeptical about buying cars online. AJ my salesman put me at ease sending messages every day, updates throughout the process. Photos and videos of the vehicle I purchased. Very friendly and great customer service. I bought a 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500 from them it was in great condition in the photos and videos sent to me through text. When it arrived it had some scratches that weren’t on there because shipping but I contacted AJ and send him the photos of the damages and he sent me all the information needed to get it fixed up. Thanks again for the awesome service and peace of mind. Truck is amazing!!

BUYER BEWARE!
BUYER BEWARE! I bought a 2023 Tahoe from this place. I was told it was in great condition. I was out of state and based on the pictures and the salesman’s word I wired them payment. The vehicle arrived and is covered in HAIL DAMAGE and the it had 2000 more miles than advertised. The HAIL DAMAGE is in excess of $7500. They told me it was AS-IS and they wouldn’t take it back or help with repairs. They won’t even call me back. DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS
