I was very pleased to see that what you buy is what you get. The cars were marketed well and were exactly as expected. Jim was very helpful and told us... straightforward that there is no fees or nothing like that, that would deter us away from buying. He understood all of our needs and executed all very well. The ****** sounds great and it runs as it should. There was a problem with the directional but they took care of that before we took the car home. There was only one part that me and my wife were not too comfortable, while we were there Jim had said that there was someone else asking about the vehicle and all that they were waiting for was credit approval and they would take the car. Now I'm not sure if this was true or not I've had this same tactic used on me before at other dealerships and frankly I do not like it. My wife was uncomfortable about this part of the "car buying experience" at LAX AUTO. Personally my wife and I believe that this matter should have been brought out immediately after we displayed interest in the vehicle not while negotiations and the process had already started. If that young man was dead set on this vehicle and they sold it under his nose I would imagine that he would not have a good review for LAX AUTO I know I would not have if I was in that position. Just my opinion but if your working with someone finish it out and do not screw them over because someone else came in and had everything done. And in the flip side of that if this was a tactic to get us to buy then LAX AUTO is not as respectful as they claim to be. Also they should specify with more detail vehicle flaws like hail damage and needs new tires things like that or while your there say hey you know this car is going to need new tires soon let us deduct some off the price to make up for this. That would absolutely make me want to come back every time, that would be showing true integrity and honesty and care for the customers that pay your bills and such. But to end on a good note the place was very clean and they offered water if we needed any plus we were given time to talk and think about our decision.
This is my second time getting a car from laxauto and both times it was great service. First time was 3 years ago to buy a accord and now I went to purchase... a newer honda. I was helped by Eli both times and he was great and attentive. He work with me trough the whole process until I felt I was making the right decision never pushy or making me feel uncomfortable. There was no pressure, we were able to look on our own, go inside talk to them about our interest, then test drove the ones we liked and made a decision... and bought..the whole process took less than an hour!

We were looking for a Subaru Outback and found what We were looking for at Lax. We drove from ND to inspect the vehicle and purchased it that day. Upon... return to ND in the next couple days we found that the battary was weak and while it would start the car after sitting overnight if you sat for 30 minutes with the radio on it would barely turn the engine over. I call Will and explained the situation and they agreed to replace the Battary. We were also allowed to test drive the vehicle alone something that doesn't happen at many dealers.
I was recently looking for a work truck, and what I found at Lax Auto was so much more! I was told to check out this dealership by a friend, and I'm glad... I did! There was no pressure from the sales, and I was treated kindly in professional manor. A huge shout out to Eli! He was the best dealer I have ever delt with! Not only did he hook me up with and amazing price on a 2001 Ford F150, but he went the extra mile to ensure my satisfaction! Eli is so focused on his customers satisfaction that after I bought the F150, he had it professionally detailed and even dropped it off at my house on a sunday! Next time I'm in the market for another vehicle, you better believe my first stop will be Lax Auto!!
Got told car was repaired properly put deposit down on it to find out was not repaired properly and was refused my deposit back that was put down on false... information and are not very professional with handling customers and say they do work that they didn't do to the vehicle
I love how this place has no pressure sales. Unlike most dealers, they did not rush us into making a quick decision. They gave us all the time we needed... to look the vehicle over and answered all of our questions. We felt so at ease throughout the whole process. Thanks again Eli!
Just purchased a Dodge Charger from Lax Auto.. Sales rep Eli made the experience painless... listened to what I had to say, and showed me different vehicles... in my price range. There was no pressure during the buying process. Will go back to lax Auto next time I am in the market for a car.
Bought a 2008 Chevy Equinox from Lax Auto. At first I was very impressed when they offered to do the repairs needed for the car AND knocked off some money... from the asking price. The breaks were bad, windshield cracked, and driver's headlight was also cracked. They had replaced it all and I was quite pleased. When I purchased the car Eli claimed that they stand by their work and if something goes wrong that is obviously the dealer's fault, they would fix it. I also requested receipts for the work that they had done. He promised to send them in the mail. All the work they had done seemed fine until I went to use my horn. I nearly got into an accident because it just didn't work! It worked fine during the test drive. We took it to a mechanic friend of mine that said the connection to the horn was behind the headlight they had replaced and likely got knocked around or disconnected and they didn't reconnect it again. I gave Eli a call and got the machine. I left a detailed message explaining my issue and leaving my phone number for him to call me back. I never received a call for a few days. I called several times leaving several messages, even getting the "ignore" button. I also never received the receipts for the work they had done.
WOW! I cant believe the review you left us after I went out of my way to replace extra stuff on the vehicle after you purchased it. You bought the veh...icle as is, but we were nice enough to replace the windshield, a headlight AND all the brakes and rotors for you a few days later at no charge. It is not the dealer's fault if something goes wrong with a vehicle. Every used vehicle is going to have problems and need repairs. I remember listening to your voicemail and called you the same day to set up a time for you to bring the vehicle back so that we can have it checked out for you. I left a voicemail and got nothing back. Of course we stand behind what we sell and do whats right and everything we can to satisfy our customers. Am sorry you weren't happy your horn doesn't work, which am sure is not very hard to fix. You know where we are if still would like to contact us. Thank you.
