We had a pleasant experience after flying in from out of

We had a pleasant experience after flying in from out of town to purchase a vehicle advertised on the internet. From the pre-flight phone calls with the sales reps to our treatment at the dealership after we arrived, everyone we spoke to was very friendly and professional. We left the dealership happy with the purchase.

Had a great no-pressure sales experience at Safford

Had a great no-pressure sales experience at Safford Hyundai. Primarily worked with Kevin, a new but friendly sales consultant. He was very patient and seemed eager to learn about what a customer was actually looking for rather than just pushing for a quick sale. When it came time to discuss numbers, we sat down with Miguel, a sales manager, who was straightforward and nice to work with. Finally, we wrapped up the paperwork with Terry, a finance manager, who was very transparent and explained all of the available add-ons to us, suggesting which he felt would be useful to us specifically and which wouldn't, but wasn't pushy about anything. All in all, they exceeded my expectations.

Michael was awesome from start to finish.

Michael was awesome from start to finish. He took the time to get to know me and my fiancé. We spent about an hour talking with him and his manager Justin. Overall, the people at Safford were very friendly.

Service writers were excellent; keeping me informed

Service writers were excellent; keeping me informed through the process. The service manager Mr. Kim was especially exceptional in helping guide this major problem and in answering all my concerns. Kudos to all involved in the repair of my vehicle.

Sales manager is very dishonest.

Sales manager is very dishonest. I've also never been to a dealership that doesn't attempt to negotiate with a customer! Very strange. Was prepared to purchase a vehicle that day, they gave me the number, and severely low-balled my trade, while asking sticker for their car. I countered with KBB value for my trade, and offered to split the difference between KBB trade in and retail price on their car. Sales manager came out and said we were too far apart. Didn't make a counter offer. Didn't offer even a couple hundred off, or towards my trade. He did have the audacity to use the JD Power appraisal to show the trade value on the car they were selling - which is considerably higher than both Edmunds and KBB - but interestingly didn't offer the JD Power trade value for my car, which was $1100 more than I was asking. He offered me Black Book for my car ($5500, worth $7500, JD Power is $8600) He somehow wants me to believe he pays JD prices on other trades, just not on my trade! If I were a GM I would reprimand him for letting a potential deal walk by not trying to negotiate. Additionally I was told an old lady traded it in and barely drove it. Funny, considering the Carfax showed it was a leased twice, and delivered to them from another dealership - not an old lady. Safford either has a sales manager who overpays for trades, leaving no margin and lies about it, or a sales manager who low xxxxx every trade and lies about it. Either way, he lies! I was very clear, I'm ok with making a profit, but I don't trust people who won't work off the same sheet of music for both ends of the deal. You want to offer black book for my car, then I'll pay black book for yours. You want to offer KBB trade in for mine, I'll offer KBB retail for yours. Watch out for these guys.
