Beware of Bait and Switch Pricing Scam!

Beware of Bait and Switch Pricing Scam!! List price at $19,988 on stock 0211912A on this website and others but add on mandatory $1,500 of extras in person for protective film etc (not taxes). Isn't this against the law? I called and asked for a sales manager to complain and they hung up on me. Thats who your dealing with.

Don’t trust this dealership!

I have been car shopping for a few months now and contacted countless dealerships. This dealership is one of the worst I have contacted to date!! 🚩#1. The dealership does not list a sales price. Sadly this is a common predatory tactic dealerships use to a) get competing buyers offers before committing to a buyer and b) as long as the dealership does not list a sale price then customers won’t know just how badly they are getting ripped off. Legally if a dealership lists a sales price then they have to sell the vehicle for that price or less and legally can’t drive up the price above what has been listed. Scuzzy dealerships like this one prefer this type of vague hidden pricing so they can determine a buyers gullibility and ignorance and randomly quote a markup depending on their assessment of the buyer. ⛔️#2. When salesmen say “I need to get the price from the sales manager. When can you come in to discuss the details?” So this is usually another predatory sales tactic used to put pressure on buyers by forcing them to come into the dealership and waste the buyers time and wear them down. Only 3 dealerships out of the 80+ I have contacted have used this scuzzy tactic. ⚠️#3. Pursuant to California Civil Code §2982 dealerships are legally required to provide buyers with an itemized purchase agreement specifically outlining all costs of the purchase and any after market dealer added “accessories” can not be added to the sale of the vehicle without the explicit consent of the buyer. When I insisted on getting the vehicle itemization purchase cost under this civil code I was quickly informed that like magic the vehicle was no longer available. Up until this point four different sales employees had all assured me that the vehicle was available for me to reserve if I would just first commit to paying a reservation fee and assured me that once I spoke with the sales manager I could then learn what the vehicles purchase price was. It is unethical and illegal for dealerships to refuse to give pricing on a vehicle they are offering for sale. There are several more unethical and illegal sales tactics happening with this dealership, just be aware!

No hassle car lease

Recently got a Corolla Cross XLE from Toyota of Huntington Beach. Connected with Kam Foo, a no nonsense salesman who ensured I got the right model to meet my needs — a 2022 Toyota Corolla Cross XLE. Just drove 3K miles and this car surpassed my expectations. Kam was on top of this transaction and ensured a no hassle experience.

Terrible service.

Terrible service. I bought a car and they didn't get my title paperwork for 5 months. During that time I called them every 3-4 weeks but they never once called me back. Not one single call back, ever. 5 months later I still don't have the title.

Toyota Huntington Beach scam customers

I went to this Toyota authorized dealership in 2019 to lease a vehicle for 36 months (Tacoma V6 SR5 2019). I attended by the salesperson Mr.Vinh Vo. This dealership only has xxxxxxxx, liars, and bad people from salesman to the sales manager, and finance. I am 58 years old and having difficulty to reading and understanding documents with legal terms. I signed a lease for the vehicle, believing that are people with ethics and morals. Furthermore, I imagined being in a Toyota dealership located in Huntington Beach - CA, it would be given the best service and have an honest team of people. I was deceived as I signed on an electronic device (signature pad), and I trusted that I was signing a 36-month lease as agreed with the vendor Mr.Vinh Vo at the time of negotiating and accepting the monthly installments for 36 months. I paid for the vehicle on time for 24 months, imagining that I had only 12 more months to finish the lease. In March 2021 I had an accident with the total loss of the vehicle, and when I sent the lease contract to the insurance company, it was so strange that I had leased a vehicle for 60 months with a residual payment to purchase the car is $19,900.00, exorbitant and non-standard values. I was having suffered spinal, ankle, and neck injuries without being able to work, now the solution for paying for this vehicle has become a nightmare. All because of the greed, dishonesty, and lack of ethics of a salesman Mr.Vinh Vo. The insurance company will pay the market value of the vehicle (Market value on March 2021 plus 20% GAP) and refuses to pay the full amount of the financial debt, because even I have GAP insurance, the final amount is double that of a new one. Now at my age, I was injured, I will have to continue working and use the little money I was saving. I earned my money in my hard job in my life to pay the finances and bills, for the simple greed and lies of a salesman I'm having this consequent. So I alert everyone, stay away from this dealership, as it is a group of dishonest and lying people. Those are lies and scams to you to take your money out of your pocket who earn working, honestly. I don't know how these people keep a Toyota brand and manage to sleep in peace and be the reference of education and honesty to their children.

great buying experience

I first looked for the Used Mustang on various sites. That led me to Toyota of Huntington Beach. They replied right away via email, had the car ready for me to test drive, and we purchased the car that night. A quick, easy, no hassle experience with friendly and helpful staff. They even set up financing with my bank making paperwork easier . I would highly recommend them. A special shout out to Daniel Rodriguez, who was great in making the deal, and getting us what we wanted. Great dealership.

Excellent service

Minh was very easy to work with. We settled on a great price with no hassle. I only needed to be at the dealership for about 2 hours total.

Best car buying experience yet

Easily the best buying experience I've ever gone through. I knew what I wanted, I knew what I wanted to pay, and I was in and out in 2 hours, trading in my old lease for a new one I loved. Thank you to Matt V for helping me find the perfect car for me, Blake for working with me on numbers, and Tim for being a badass and helping me fill out all the paperwork in record time. Will definitely be back here for my next car, too.

Come here if you wanna get screwed

These guys are crooks and will charge you for services that are covered under you contract. Everytime I've been their they tryn sell me on somthing else. All the while not letting you know they are burrrying you with payments. Predatory business of I've ever seen one. Will never come to this location again. Word to the wise if you don't want to get stuck paying outlandish prices, shop here. If you want a real reputable dealer, goto toyota of orange. The service advisors over there treat you with respect and get things done free by dealing with Toyota hq as they should. Toyota of hb service advisor Carlos, sits in his chair and acts as if you are bothering him by asking simple questions. Btw it should be criminal to sell somone a brand new car that isn't worth half of what they charged you, legit a week after you get it. It's funny how Dave Wilson owns this dealership but doesn't put his name on it.
