We live in SC. After waiting for three weeks we still haven’t received the registration packet that enables us to register the NC purchased car in SC. Texting is useless. Phone prompts aren’t useful as they don’t apply to the problem at hand. Calling the dealership results in easily over an hour wait,,,IF you get through at all! I have been on hold 1 hour 45 minutes now and still no sign of service.

If you need Tesla service . Then you are screwed
Horrible experience by all means with the service department Has nothing to to with luxury car service or customers care. Very poor communication. Nothing there can be don in normal time fashion. You need to contact them for updates and time line. Employee as attitudes , overworked and no customer respect. Customer Waiting is very poor, itare has only walls and chairs. Sorry! and bathrooms.

Cancelled Orders
They cancelled my orders claiming that I was on their "Black List" for reselling even though I've only purchased one vehicle and haven't sold it yet! They also kept my order fees. It is listed in their order agreement but assuming that I had actually transacted and sold the vehicle!

2 month wait and after 2 1/2 drive not ready
Main battery died in Model S 2019, and had to be towed to Charlotte center in Mathew’s NC and Tesla arranged company who damaged vehicle. Had to replace front right suspension, front toe links, tie rods and the steering rack. It took over 2 months to repair the car and when I arrived to pick it up there was significant damage on the back bumper. I was ask if I wanted to leave it to have fixed and I agreed and waited 2 hours for the loner to be made ready and when leaving the car said there was low tire pressure so I returned to clarify if it needed attention but the same service person became irritated and said this was normal. I ask if he had any idea how long it would take to fix the bumper and he saidI have no idea. I had just driven 2 1/2 hours to pick up the car and did not expect such poor service on a car that cost $89,000. I was planning on buying a model Y but after owning a Lexus with such great service I am reconsidering. My wife loves her car but on reading other reviews of service at the Mathew’s location it is concerning.Wa

Terrible Customer Service
I picked up my car on June 11th. On June 24th I received an email from corporate to complete another form for financing. My wife and I completed the form and returned it on June 30th. Since then my 30 day tag expired. I made multiple calls to the showroom and left voicemails but none of my calls were returned. On July 19th I was able to get in touch with someone and they had no answer for why my tag has still not been received but I could come by the showroom and pickup a dealer tag. I went to the showroom and spoke to Chad. Chad gave my my dealer tag and I filled out several forms to have the dealer tag be valid for 6 days and told me hopefully it will be taken care of by then. Chad also did not have an answer for why my tag hasn’t been received but would bring it to the attention of Clem (the manager) and Arie ( the DMV specialist) and would get back to me with what the holdup is. Well I never heard from Chad, Arie, Clem or anyone at the Tesla. My dealer tag expired on July 25th and still no tag or no contact. I took off work on July 30th to try and get an update on what the situation is since my calls and requests have not been answered and my dealer tag is now expired also. I went to the showroom and spoke to Yunis. Yunis informed me that Arie was there and he would get an update. Yunis told me that Arie got everything figured out and my paperwork will be finalized on Monday and I will have a plate sent via overnight mail to me to receive on Tuesday. Yunis told me that someone opened my email but never forwarded it over a month ago. But I was assured that everything would be taken care of and I would receive my plate by 8/3. Arie came out and informed Yunis of this in front of me but did not directly speak to me. I felt like that was a little weird and this still left me with a car that was illegal to drive until my plate was received. Today, (8/5) I called and spoke to Mike. Mike informed me that he didn’t know why nothing has been done but there are no additional notes in my account since I was last in on 7/30. Customer service has been terrible and I’m still stuck with a car that I cannot legally drive.

Dad Approved
My dad is always looking for his next car, so when he was in town he noticed the Tesla place. He had researched the car but never seen one personally. We dropped in and looked around the lot and then went inside. The showroom people were great. We stayed maybe 45 min and they only had 2 vehicles inside. The cars are awesome and have lots of features I never would have thought of. The showroom guy answered all our questions and let us play with the cars to our hearts content. They even have a stripped down car base so you can see how they are made. It was all interesting, like a display at a hands on museum. Everyone we spoke to was friendly and helpful. They even offered drinks. The showroom was the cleanest I have ever seen. In the end, I am pretty sure the Tesla is at the top of my dad's list for a new car!
