Bought a 2020 Ford transit van with 30,000 miles on it. Tire sensor light was on in the dash. They said not a problem it would be covered under factory warranty. it was not covered when we took it to the Ford dealer. Vitale motors refused to pay for the repair after telling us it would be covered under factory warranty. I also happen to look at a updated Carfax right after we bought the vehicle and saw there was an added service since I last checked it.Vitale motors took it to a Ford dealer to have the work done and when the Ford dealer said it needed for new sensors at a cost of $485.00 for the parts plus labor they refused to have the work done. so they knew it would not be covered under factory warranty the whole time super shady .Do not do business with these guys.

Sneaky
Cheated us out of our deposit which is a pretty low thing to do to a non-profit organization. I recommend you take your business somewhere else.

Great truck buying experience, thank you!
Scott was very helpful on helping find the bucket truck that we needed. Thank you so much for all of your time and assistance while finding my F-450.

Just don't!
Dream truck turned nightmare. Steer clear at all costs!!! Always dreamt of being able to own and drive a F-350. So when I found one in a price range I could afford, I called immediately. I spoke to "Bob". This was an out of state Craigslist post in Oklahoma. Talked extensively with Vitale Motors, checked the car fax, as well as examined their ad closely. Bob assured me that that everything on the truck worked perfectly, nothing wrong with the truck at all. Stated the 4x4 works even works great. Believable, the truck only had about 30k miles on it. They weren't willing to negotiate price since the truck was in such great shape. He said to be honest there is just a little bit of rust underneath which is normal for its age, 1999. I decide let's go for it. That's when the nightmare began. I used a shipper recommended by Vitale, which arrived several weeks late, and was over billed. Once I received the truck, I noticed it was leaking profusely. I take it to the Ford dealership. This truck had some serious issues. The little bit of rust actually meant that the entire underside was completely rusted and that parts were rusted off the truck. Nothing wrong with it also meant that there was very little right with it. So in order to fully disclose what you're in for if you do business with Vitale motors, here's a list of damages on my shameful and regrettable purchase. Transfer case (doesn't shift, 4wd out): $2927.90 Oil pan gasket (what gasket): $1748.92 Oil Pan (hole rusted through): $150.00 Power steering pump (out, lines duct taped in): $963.64 Shifter Bushing: $578.36 Brake lines, cylinders, brakes (rusted off): $644.76 Evaporator canister lines (rusted off): $174.12 Oxygen sensor (partially rusted off): $123.55 Exhaust and catalytic converted that rusted and fell off: $1662.28 Spare tire crank (rusted doesn't crank): $54.00 Spare tire: $325.00 Warning potential future customers the kind of business Vitale Motors is: Priceless. Currently unrepaired: rusted out truck bed, doors, as well as anything else that used to be metal on the car. As well as numerous misc parts, including the holes in the rusted frame where the motor connects to it and the broken gas line hose. P.S. The truck is still in the shop due to the extensive work, rust, and labor required multiple months now. At this point, I still haven't got to own and drive an F-350 of my own!!

DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THESE GUYS
Went down and put a deposit ($500) after they told me I was approved for a $16,000 loan thru “their” finance company. Two days later I get a letter from the finance company saying that I was denied because I needed a co-signer. I’m 19. Told Paul my salesman this and they kept my deposit for “there trouble”. They are not returning my calls. Now I have to take them to small claims court to get my deposit back. This is how they evidently do business. They have 4 stars on their website, but all the reputable sites such as CARS.COM have them at 2. Like I said above, be careful with these guys. Typical used car salesmen.

DONT BUY FROM VITALE MOTORS IN SOUTH AMBOY, NJ.. L
DONT BUY FROM VITALE MOTORS IN SOUTH AMBOY, NJ.. LYING CROOKS ....ALSO DO Not TAKE YOUR TRUCK OR CAR to be fixed by TOP LINE AUTO CARE ! That is who Vitale uses , they are attached to their dealership!!!We went to Vitale motors to buy a utility truck. We come from Long Island drove three hours. When we got there they did not even have our truck that we already had registered ready !! We test drove it.. it didn’t have any power steering fluid in it and the tires were bald. Needless to say we didn’t leave with that truck. But they did get us in a piece of xxxx 2012 Dodge ram that had excessive amount of problems with transmission and engine. When we got the truck home back to Long Island the check engine light was on. We took it to a transmission specialist ran all the test and the picture to the left Shows all of the codes that came up. Vitale said to bring it to them and let their mechanic fix it. They had it three weeks. Gave it back to us still have the same problems. So we took it to another mechanic this time at Port Jeff Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Inc. in Port Jeff. Come to find out that the same codes that we brought it there for came up !! They never fix the problem. You can read it in the pictures. The three pictures are my mechanic who showed us the problems and it says that we will be taking it back to the dealer. The last three pictures , four, five and six. Are pictures from when we brought it to the Dodge dealership after we picked it up from Vitale , after they had it for three weeks .so as you could see they never did the work that they Were supposed to fix. We brought it to them to fix these two main codes!!

Mislead regarding availability
I called to inquire if a vehicle listed on their website was still available and was told it was by an associate named Bob. Drove for two hours and was informed the truck was not available and had been sold the day before. They tried to sell me something else instead. Classic bait and switch and I wasted 5 hours.

BUYER BEWARE
Purchased a GMC from here June 29th. Spent $11,000. The very next day the AC stopped working in the middle of the summer and they took over a week to fix it. Fast forward 6 months and the car died on me on the side of the road with my 3 children in the car. The engine is shot and it will cost us $6,000 to replace. My husband is active duty military and leaves on a deployment to the Middle East in 3 months and I am currently without a car. The mechanic we had the car towed to informed us it’s was likely a flood victim. Do not shop here. They are crooks. Buyer beware.
