I had put a review on previously regarding my son buying

I had put a review on previously regarding my son buying a 2013 Toyota Tacoma and engine light came on before he got it home the day he picked it up. He had taken it back two separate times engine light did go off but has continued coming back on, took this vehicle which my son has had for only 5 months to our own mechanic he informs us antifreeze is backing up in it, no obvious leaks outside vehicle, he has also informed us this is something that isn’t new. Not happy with this dealership, or their so called mechanics, the vehicle wasn’t gone through prior to taking it off the lot, my son is stuck paying a payment on a vehicle that needs big repairs, he was overcharged and taken advantage of!!! Beware of this place!!

Back in May of 2023 I cam to Risen Auto and purchased a

Back in May of 2023 I cam to Risen Auto and purchased a 2008 Black Hummer H3 Luxury, upon buying the vehicle I was told they had just realized the engine was blown and was going to install a new engine with lower mileage, it took about a month for them to complete the repairs, in fact I paid my first payment without ever driving it. Upon picking it up from them and finally getting to drive it, I live almost an hour away, the CEL came on on my way home, numerous codes but the one that stuck out was a p0420 code, which is for an inefficient converter, now rewind a bit to when they were making the repairs they told me it was throwing a catalytic converter code and that's why it wasn't ready, so obviously I'm concerned a new converter is very expensive repair. I brought it to them and they told me I was good to go, took about 3 days said there was no issue with the converter, got a CEL again, p0420, brought it to them again only to have them tell me the MAF sensor was dirty and I was good to go, now in this time the 30 days were up, I would now have to pay for repairs. I pick the vehicle up again and in a day CEL p0420 Since then I have replaced the exhaust manifold, both oxygen sensors, the radiator, the thermostat and the thermostat housing, starter and flywheel and there was one other item which escapes me but was $1000 to repair (This was all in the second month I had it.) I had told my mechanics that it couldn't be the converter because I was told it was replaced, well seeing as though I replaced everything around the converter and was still getting the same CEL it was time to check the cat, so my mechanic checked it only to find out thar it was never replaced or replaced with a bad converter, I was assured by them that the converter was operational, it was not. Now I have to foot a 4600 bill over something that should have been taken care of before the vehicle was in my possession. Not only was i given a lemon, they had to of skirted NYS emission laws because they had it inspected, the cat has been dead since i purchased it. I have all the times I called documented all the responses documented so the next step for me is to file with the DCWP, BBB, FTC, and the Consumer Protection Agency. I suggest all the people on here that have put up negative reviews do the same, Risen Auto is ripping hard working people off. So in summation, Risen Auto sold me a vehicle with a bad catalytic converter that they told me was fixed, as well as a slew of other issues, they broke NYS emission laws to have it inspected and send me on my way in hopes it would last past the 30 days and then I would have to come back and pay them for repairs, DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP YOU WILL REGRET IT.

My 19 year old bought his first vehicle there, engine

My 19 year old bought his first vehicle there, engine light came on before he got it home. Took it back they did something light went off then came on for a few days, took it back again to be gone over they said to bring it in can’t put gas in it and vehicle has been there for a week haven’t heard anything. Am feeling very cautious hoping they fix it and really do go over it he was told prior to buying it they would go through and get everything tip top, hoping they do right by him!!!!

It started out great until after 8 days of driving it,

It started out great until after 8 days of driving it, the rear blew. The car has been sitting there for almost 3 weeks waiting for the part which is unbelievable, when you order something they tell you when it should arrive. I still don't have the title after a month, which shouldn't of been sold!!! Horrible experience. I'm trying not to call my lawyer.

Great place to buy a vehicle, financing was easy.

Very friendly and helpful, they take the time to make sure your vehicle is in tip top shape before purchase, great on communication, i would definitely recommend them

Terrible!!

Terrible!!! We have had nothing but issues from the day one!! I highly would NOT recommend Risen Auto in Rome NY. The day we got it home the motor blew up, they had it in their shop about 8 times in a month for days even weeks at a time.

Chrysler pt cruiser 2006
