    Had a 9 AM service appointment on a Friday morning. Brought the car in after work on Thursday afternoon. The Service Dept. employee stated that they would... probably run a diagnostic that afternoon and let me know. Heard back from him on Friday morning. He stated that the diagnosis revealed that the part required would cost around $385. I gave my consent for him to order it. He "hoped" it would come in by the next day and that the repair would be completed. I stated "call me when it's ready!" Did not hear back from him on Saturday. However, I DID receive an email from the dealership Service Dept. at 10 AM on Saturday stating that they were sorry I missed my 9 AM appointment on Friday!!!! I called the Serv Dept on Monday at 2:30 PM to check the status of my vehicle. When I asked to speak with the person I had been dealing with, I was informed he was on vacation. This employee then asked if she could be of assistance. When I explained the previous info to her, she asked if she could put me on hold to check on the car. After waiting, on hold for 10 minutes [thank goodness for speaker phone] it sounded like there was a 'pick up' and I got cut off. I called back and after 2 rounds of getting the operator trying to connect me to the Service Dept. the call went through and I got Another employee. He stated that the girl I was holding for was on another line and asked how he could help. After reiterating the above, he said he would Transfer me to the Parts Dept. to see IF the part had come in yet!!! What?!?? Wasn't that HIS job??? ...Apparently Not. I talked to Paul in the Parts Dept. who said "Yeah, that part came in on Saturday, I don't know why it wasn't fixed." I asked him to please transfer me back to Service, which he did and the call went immediately to voice mail. I left a message requesting a call back and letting her know the required part was there on Saturday. When she called back 2 hours later she stated that she didn't know what transpired from the beginning but now knew that the part I needed would cost $1400 incl. labor!!! Beside myself but needing the work done , I agreed to the assessment but stated that I needed the car back on Wednesday. (7 days). Finally got the call on Wednesday at 9:30 AM. Picked it up around 11:30 AM. I bought my car here and have had a friend buy hers here. But I am reluctant to do so now, considering this experience. I love my KIA but NOT this "unexpected" Customer Service. Next time...Danbury KIA!!

    Just went to have my KIA SUV serviced in Milford, CT. The service help was outstanding . She was so knowledgeable and courteous and pleasant to talk to... about the issues in regards to my vehicle . I would recommend that she gets a well-deserved raise.
