7000 more in repairs.

Went to them to see about a 2012 Toyota Tundra for 12,900. Took it to get a PPI. It need 7,000 more repairs. Had a massive oil leak, head gasket needed replacing and all shocks were blown. Still on sale for same price. Please don't be the sucker that buys that truck.

They suck

Paid $30,000 cash for a truck less than a month ago haven't had anything but problems first was electrical had to replace ecm now that it was actually running took it back to the shop guy at the shop says that it was illegal for them to sell this truck in the first place but also needs heads done very disappointed if it wasn't for the legal trouble I would get in I would drive this truck all the way through there building.I really hate a salesman like these people

I purchased my daughter's first truck from Dustin here.

I purchased my daughter's first truck from Dustin here. It was such an easy process working with him and Steve. I found the truck online and talked to Dustin about it over the phone he went and drove the truck for me since I could not get there and told me all the details about the truck and how it drove and the history of it. He knew I was looking for my daughter's first truck and I truly feel like he was looking out for her as his own family. We talked about a couple of other trucks, but we kept coming back to this one. There was a few things that I asked about on the truck and without any hesitation at all Dustin said they would make sure it was fixed. This is a small family owned dealer that treats you as family. I cannot thank Dustin and Steve enough! Truly was a pleasure meeting and working with them both. If you are in the market for a new vehicle, call and ask for Dustin. You will not be disappointed.

Good experience

Daniel was super chill and worked well w my finance co. The process was easy, so highly recommend these cats. One thing to note is that almost all cars are sold “as-is”, so it’s behooves you to know what you’re getting into rather than complaining afterwards. A word to the wise!!!

I called about a truck that they had and I didn’t get much information except that it was put in the shop. I really would have like to find out more about it because even after it came out of the shop I’m interested in purchasing it.

Update: it has now been 9 months since Thornhill sold...

Update: it has now been 9 months since Thornhill sold me a vehicle that cannot be registered. It is still costing me money, and I still cannot sell it. Long story short, I bought the vehicle, and attempted to drive it home. Got in a minor fender bender due to MISSING DEFROST PARTS that were realized once I got out on the highway in the rain. (Also got TICKETED and FINED for inoperable tag lights in Arkansas on return trip) Got home to Illinois, contacted Thornhill, never got a response, and left a bad review. That’s where my real problems started. Our DMVS opened up in February, and upon attempting to register, found that Illinois requires a Natural Disaster declaration form for vehicles purchased at/during/near flood events, etc. (VERIFY YOUR NEW VEHICLE WAS NEVER REGISTERED IN A NATIONAL DISASTER ZIP CODE!!, this is a change being made nationwide to help alleviate flood cars being title washed in other states. There’s a chance that’s what the dealer is doing, but proving it in court is next to impossible for me individually). I promptly got the form from our Secretary of State and sent it to Steve @ Thornhill to be signed and notarized per Illinois requirements. It states at the date/mileage that I purchased the truck, it had never had a flood claim on the title (the truck has a spotless Carfax). Steve flat out refused to sign/notarize this form. I have performed enhanced Carfax, as well as federal VIN search, and had my insurance company check VIN. No one has found any evidence that it really IS a flood vehicle, despite persistant electrical problems). No one can find any reason why the dealer would refuse to help me, Steve claimed too much time has passed, and that if I had brought the form with when purchased, he’d have signed it. Well, I still have $11,000 invested in Steve’s $6900 truck. I even offered to have a State safety inspection done at my cost to appease him. If you look to other reviews left on Thornhill youll see I am not the only person to have Covid used as an excuse for poor customer service. After paying a local attorney to advise me legally on the situation, I am now in the process of trying to get Illinois to give me back the title (hopefully without putting a giant FLOOD stamp across it somehow) so I can try to sell it to someone in a state with less stringent registration requirements. The difference is, I’ll actually be honest about it. To close this up, if youre flying in to Texas for a rust free truck to take back out of state, DO YOUR LOCAL RESEARCH regarding flood vehicles from out of state, and FIND A DIFFERENT DEALER. I am out of pocket almost $11000, with no truck to drive, taxes have been paid, and I don’t even have the title. DON’T MAKE MY MISTAKE. GO ELSEWHERE. Luckily Steve was nice enough to falsify a legal document by changing the validity of my driver’s license, so right off the bat my attorney was pretty excited. We have a good chance at getting this fixed. I still just want the form signed, but now it may be headed to a civil suit instead. At this point im just excited to hear that the state of Texas gets pretty mad about their dealers doing stuff like this, and that attorneys in Tarrant county are much friendlier than the ones here! The inquiries I plan on sending to Carfax as well as Autotrader as to how I found myself, literally, at the mercy of a used car dealer, should hopefully prevent Thornhill from doing this to other people too.

Maria Calvert/Hicks.

Sold us, a military family, a lemon truck. Had the truck for four months, drove it 3 days. Poor customer service. Never returns calls. Never wants to take responsibility. Owner is Cheap. Poor business man. It’s like pulling teeth to get them to honor a contract.
